One thing I like about Merkava is that it's always on fire and needs the same amount of FPE as shells you carry.

If you put enough fire extinguishers in there, they will get shot open and automatically put out fires.

Yes because according to Gaijin my crew must go on multiple combat tours before they realize that tanks can catch on fire and can break.
This is the most faithful representation of the real War Thunder gaming experience that I've ever seen on UA-cam. I swear I'm a much happier person since I uninstalled it. Thanks for providing my fix Dollar, so I never have to play it myself again!

I still have a lot of fun in warthunder, just imagine 6.7 is top tier and never go higher and it's actually very fun.

@@ToastablePie that is true. Gaijin thinks it fair for a 90mm short gun on a light tank to go through my Tiger II front plate even if it hits it at an 80 degree angle.

The least amount of fun ive had in WT is on top tier: You have to be a tryhard and look for every little moving pixel on your thermals, you get spawnkilled by a KA 50 from 10km away, planes drop bombs from above the atmosphere and you don't even make real money such as on lower tiers
There is an easy way to get it, although rarely get kills. Just go for barrels and tracks then scram. Let teammates get the kill and you get assist. Thats how my top tier grind works till I get the Chad rock.

6:58 and therein is why I have a hard time enjoying a lot of tank battles lately, spawn camping feels like it is becoming more of the meta and Gaijin refuses to do anything about it, absolutely infuriating.
Spawn camping is only possible if the enemy isn't guarding their flanks......if both teams rush spawn then neither side gets there, everyone either Meets in open field yeetfests or when they're stuck in cqc in cities.

@@loumorningstar7709 Yeah but no. It always happen that in a game in which teams focuses on objectives you have 1 or 2 smartasses camping. That's enough to ruin the spawns for at least a few minuteq
How to fix it: extend the maps a bit and put a protective barrier around the spawns that sends any and all shells and missiles coming in and coming out haywire, thus destroying them. Any losers that try to enter the enemies spawn will be marked and scouted for as long as they remain in that spawn. Unrealistic? Yep. Do I care? Nope
It's the issue war thunder always had. There's definitely way to fix it, but I guess it's fine enough for Gaijin

The 4 on the corners of the tank are just plastic safety markers.
Early match spawncamping has become such a scourge in top tier as of late. I personally blame slower grind and higher repair costs.
Not just top tier, it's across the whole system.

First of all: I'll now call the Merkava the "Merkaktus" because of all those antenas + the fact that rocket-punching it is more dangerous for you than him in a way.
Second,
If I had to theorize why it became more campy:
Gaijin have reduced the income of a win and increase the one of lost games.
So it's now more viable to have a good score but loosing than having less good score but wining.
So People camp, ends up with good score, loose, but profit as much as the ones who took objectives to win but lost opportunities to get kills by doing so.
Simple and easy fix: make a 1km mines-barrier around spawns that disapear when ennemy captured all the objectives or at least majority of them!
Mine barrier sounds great 😂
Kudos to those who play ground AB. I can't last more than a few minutes because I keep forgetting I'm not actually hidden behind that bush or house etc. And that little + in my reticle is very distracting (not to mention, lies to me constantly! - so I try to ignore it). Yup, you Ground AB guys have some serious skills to stay alive when the entire enemy team can see you :/

I just realised how much harder it is to stock grind when the only round you get is heat. so many tanks have heat protection, especially the puma and the challenger TES. the armour won't stop your sabot rounds and AP round but God dam you'll have to throw a countries worth of heat at it to even scratch it.

These standart Heat shells are probably one of the worst ammotypes in the game!
