I've published a free video lesson at decplay.com/FREE showing the unique DecPlay method (as featured on BBC) - to help adults / seniors learn songs on piano quickly and easily - without reading music notation.
Yamaha must consider and redesign the piaggero series by repositioning the speakers 🔊 on top or at the back so that the piaggero series will have a shorter length and could easily be placed across its length at the back row sit of a car boot.
Thanks for sharing the review. I think you are persuasive, but I'm surprised you didn't mention the benefits of two upgrades that might be worth considering for your audience. It still might not be worth the price, but I think the jazz organ represents a big upgrade most kinds of pop-type music. Also if you are using layering a lot, I can imagine the lights are helpful. With the earlier models you cannot visually tell which of the two patches you are using. Still, I appreciate your insights. Keep em coming!
Good points - once the old stock of NP12s are gone, then the NP15 Will be my new recommendation and I will make sure to include these features in my next review. Thanks for your feedback.
Great info thanks and great point on the price! Quick question: are the keys on the NP-35 true full size octave width like on weighted digital pianos (164mm or so) or is it still the narrower "full size" octave width like the NP-32 was of a bout 159mm (like you see on synths/arrangers)? Oh and a couple of huge new features though - the NP-35 is compatible with Smart Pianist, and it has an audio interface built into the USB to host port which is massive (now you can stream audio into the keyboard to play along with, AND you can send high quality digital audio direct to a DAW or even to the camera app on a phone to record piano videos, both without needing an external audio interface box
I'm not sure about the key width - good question! Thanks for the info about the audio interface built into the USB to host port - I will add that info into the blog. I always record using my video camera's mic - using the ambience of the room and only use Midi when using a DAW, so I don't use an audio interface, but I'm sure this will be really useful for people who want a direct feed.
question, are all these features available in the NP15 as well? i mean the app, audio pass through etc. i know the graded keys are not in the np15 but what about the other stuff?
Hi. I was browsing what to buy as a New Learner. Appreciate your honest opinion on NP32 and NP35. However, can I seek your opinion which is Value for money between NP32 and Korg Liano. Thank you very much for sharing 🙏🙏🙇♂️😃
I've not tried out the Korg Liano yet - it looks good as a portable keyboard - seems a bit more expensive than the current deals on the NP32 but it looks a good alternative to the NP35.
@DecPlayPiano This week is our National Day Week Sale and Casio CT-S1 is selling at S$299 only including FREE Bluetooth Dongle, Adaptor, Stand and Bench. So I bought it. Hope its easy to learn
@@philipchia7053 i’ve not use the Casio CT-S1 but the specification looks similar to the NP15 but with extra sounds - so as long as the quality of the piano sounds are good, then it should be a great keyboard.
Hi, Is the NP 32 and NP 35 the same size so essentially in the same casing? I am asking bc I am looking for a wood stand for my NP 32 and it said it was compatible with the NP 35
the NP25 is very similar diemnsions to the NP32 (not exactly the same - It's slightly longer at 1,260 mm rather than 1,244 mm) - it's possible that a wood stand would fit both - but I can't say for certain
great video - quick question on the NP 12 and NP 32- When the output plugged (phones) the built in speakers turn off. is there a feature to override that now NP 35/NP15?

Yes I agree - like the Roland Go:Piano
Thanks mate, that's all I needed to know. NP-32 it is, then!
Glad you found it useful :)
@@DecPlayPianoIs the NP35 action exactly the same as the np32 (keys more difficult to play up near the hinge at the top of the key)?
@@WyattLite-n-inn as far as I know they are very similar if not the same
@@DecPlayPianoI assume the action is the same too. Thanks again for this informative video.

How do you found it useful :)
@@DecPlayPiano knowing that the difference between the two keyboards is minimal considering the price difference
Cheers.
Im gonna to buy N32 tmr
thats a great keyboard. As the NP35 is price has now dropped - you might be able to get the NP35 instead.
@@DecPlayPiano Oh I already get N32 for 2 weeks now, love it so far
@@eduzenith3658 well done - its a great keyboard
The basic sound of the piano samples on the 35 sounds quite a bit better than the NO 32 IMO
The RHODES and DX sounds on NP32 are much better than the new NP35 which sounds much similer to P125. so I added NP32 before it is sold out.

Wait, this whole video was just about the PRICE which has since been lowered?
are both np32 and np35 compatible with yamaha rec'n'share and Yamaha Pianist app?
Sorry I’ve never used these apps so I’m not sure
Only the np 35 have rec and share and smart pianist app, I have the np 32 but it doesn't have those app
Are the keys weighted or semi weighted?
They are semi weighted
Hi I'm starting to get a little confused with best model which would you say is better between np12 np32
Is it true that this new NP35 has WEIGHTED keys?? Meaning that you can adjust them so that they feel HEAVIER?👀👀👀
great video - quick question on the NP 12 and NP 32- When the output plugged (phones) the built in speakers turn off. is there a feature to override that now NP 35/NP15?
According to the NP-15/NP-35 manual, using the headphone output always mutes the NP-15/NP-35's own speakers.
