Hi friends in this video i compair 3 different Potentiometers . multiple turn potentiometers are high Precision potentiometers are designed for control applications where accuracy and high-reliability is important. These devices are available in conductive plastic, wirewound or element types, and in various sizes. I'm comparing 3 kinds of Potentiometer

Can you suggest smaller pot durable with good precision?
Often chinese pot have a tiny layer resistive material fast to destroy, with jumping excursion

I never used something smaller than that size , and 80% of the potentiometers are from China if you want the original Potentiometers you should buy from a trusted supplier maybe?

@@Electronic_For_You I diassembled an old pot similar wh148 and have ~1mm thicker layer.
For smaller one there are R097, guess are clones of brand one?
Hope for try test.

Why was the 7 turn pot better? What kind was it? Wire wound, plastic or carbon?

I think it's better because it can go ultra low resistance like 0.1ohm to 10 to 10K ohm with good precision , its a wire wound potentiometer !

Dude there is a solder blob on the contact of the cheap potentiometer you tested that's why it is not connected properly to the multimeter

I don't think the solder blob will screw the measurement 🤔

In my experience it does, it offers a lot of contact resistance, unless ofcource it is soldered to both surfaces
