Jokes aside.. Mr. Loo is a good man... He gave many, free advices on how to invest in stocks or when to invest into S&P500. His method is suitable for people who prefers lower risk. Eric method also works but different people prefers different method. There are many ways to get to financial freedom, just find a way suitable to oneself. Just like if Eric willing to open up his mind further and explore further, he may find more property investment opportunities elsewhere too. But like myself, we have fear to explore beyond our comfort and knowledge zone.

Mr Loo is so deeply engrossed with accumulating wealth that he plans to live to 100 yrs to make up for SA closure. But can anyone forsee our own longevity? Ppl may die fr terminal illness, accidents, stroke, cardiac arrests. Good health is the ultimate wealth. 😊
There are a few caveats here: using child's name to buy property, means the child will have no chance to apply for bto/buy resale etc. Using the past 3 yrs growth rate to assume future growth is a huge assumption. Especially since we all know the past 3yrs growth has been positively affected by many abonormal factors.

Don’t think Mr Loo will decouple. He prefers a no hassle $4.6 monthly income from CPF than $4K from rental. Withdrawing his OA n selling his HDB to a tune of $3.1M , he might b able buy a fixer upper landed property in Sg but left no money for renovation, property rich,cash poor. Majority of Singaporean will retire in Sg “okayly” ”but one cant fault others in choosing to retire elsewhere. ..sad tho.😂
