Most cafe racer projects, start with a dream.
And just like an addiction, You just can't stop thinking about it.
If you are at this point, this video will be very helpful.
It gives you several important Tips, to help you choosing the Best Bike for your Cafe Racer project.
Enjoy. -
You are the Karl Lagerfeld of motorcycles. You take a model and make it shine! Chosen motorcycles are just beautiful, but they way you present them, illumination, speed of camera displacement, music, quotings, and your politeness just makes videos a work of art. You always take the time to answer even the most unpolite comments, and the `thank you for watching racer TV, hope to see you next time` gives the video a personal touch. Thank you for your excellent videos and keep up the good work!
El Solitario Wow. I love to read comments like yours. I really liked. Most Viewers like seeing my videos, but you identified all the small details make a video more special than the others. When i make a video, i always try to make it the best way possible. But sometimes, this depends of the images/videos/music available.Thank you for sharing your kind words. Cheers.
Another good job frm racer tv. I'd like to build my own cafe racer..
You are giving this 'old' biker the urge to release the welder and spanners!! I think that 'Motorcycles' should be as individual as their owners. Good choice of 1960's music as well. Keep up the good work. My photo shows my Honda from the 1960's
TheBrummiedoug Well, that's exactly what i intend with my videos. Inspiration is all we need to start our cafe racer project. I'm glad that you are reaching your inspiration, and also that you are remembering the good old days with your honda. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Cheers.
There’s nothing that I enjoy more then watching your videos, thanks so so much. Happy New year 🎈🎊🎆😊👍🏼
I love these videos it's because of the videos that I bought my first cafe project it is a 1982 Yamaha Virago 920 your video with the five reasons to own a cafe racer helped me with my wife and I knew nothing about bikes and now I know more than most people thank you and keep the videos coming I love them thank you for your time making them
Vicente Koroneos I love this kind of comments. It makes me realise that a simple video can make a big difference in our lives. Thanks you for sharing your story, and for your kind words. Good luck with your project. Cheers.
5:06 -- "And if you want to go crazy on the motorways and have many problems with the authorities, a big engine will help you on this"
XD
I'm excited, I've been around bikes since around 6. Your channels opinions and knowledge have helped out a lot! I'll be making a cafe racer out of a Honda CB 450 as a winter project, and 1st vehicle.
+marcus davis Thank you my friend for your suport. I'm always glad by knoing that my videos are helpfull. Good luck for your project. Cheers.

OMG !! 😢 I'm addicted of a cafe racer .. I can't stop thinking about a cafe racer, for the past 3 months I have only been searching and thinking about cafe racer, even when I ride my bike, I feel like I am driving a cafe racer. When I asleep, I dreaming that I am driving a cafe racer .. OMG!! I got mad 😣😣😫

Yamaha SDR 200. Almost ready cafe racer.
Nice video.
I like the Ducati flavor on the Yamaha. Good luck for your project. Cheers.
I've got two regular rides in my shed and three air cooled four cylinder, four stoke "dreams" in my back yard (1100cc, 750cc and 750cc turbo). Now if I could learn how to cook I could get started...
techo61 Lol. Well, it seems that this video isn't very useful for you. :)But even so, you are closer to a cafe racer project than most people. Unfortunately, i can't teach you to "cook".Lol.But i think my videos can inspire you with some ideas and tips. Thanks for sharing your comment. Cheers.
88' gs750 is my going to be the foundation for my first cafe build.
I''ll start from a small ybr 125 basic...simple and objective...only 10 years at my side...this is a good reason to do that on a bike...
nice video bro the music was great
Harry Postres Thank you my friend. Cheers.
great photography and ditto advice!
***** Thanks for your kind words. Cheers.
I'm planning to work on a '83 Honda Goldwing 1100GS to make a 2seats cafè racer, I hope to have it finished for next summer
+Alessandro Brusamento Good luck my friend. I think 1 year is a very reasonable deadline for a cafe racer project. :) Cheers.
Great video 😮👍🏼
Fantastic video. Helpful, to the point, inspiring.
So, where is my tool box... ??
Alex Ferreira Lol. Thanks Alex for your kind words.
i should say it long before... your channel provide me a very useful info regarding the cafe racer... and by the way.. the background music.. did you arrange it by yourself..?? it sounds... so retro... i like it... best year in future buddy... best regards from malaysia...
Thank you for your kind comment. This song is based in this version: "Apache - The Shadows (Original from 1960) ". Cheers.
thanks for the reply... do you have any website? facebook?
Mohamed Fairudeen Mohamed Fajeer
You are welcome. The website will start in the following weeks. But here is Racer TV Facebook page: facebook.com/racertv.pt/?ref=hl
Great video
Obrigado pelas dicas.
Obrigado. Abraço.
Yeah it's not a super distant dream, for example, I'm only 16 years old, got the bike when i was 15, not to toot my own horn, but I've done tones of stuff on my bike, and I'd say it looks pretty good. A Honda cm450e 1983.
lucky you I am 17 and sitting at home.
Keegan Dias since i posted that comment i got another old bike. whats keeping you?
Mark Stevenson My dad says that when I turn 18 he will get my license but some of my friends are younger than me and still driving a car or riding a motorcycle.I told my dad about it but he is not listening. My dad knows to drive a car but he is not teaching me.He tells me to buy a car with my own earnings.
the sound of a two stroke motor is music to my ears....
Mike Tarsitano Well, to be honest, a two stroke engine can be very pleasant at high revs with 2 or more cylinders. But when it is stopped, the engine noise at low revs is not as nice as a 4 stroke engine. But thanks for sharing your comment. Cheers.
Mike Tarsiano,Racer TV,I learned here that a 3 stroke is music and I like very much!
You're not alone on that and I had the exaust smell as well.
RD 135 the boss of Brazil !
gododiretoria Obrigado amigo.
i want to build one soo bad
jiskell Man dreams, and the piece of work born. :) Cheers.
I have honda spada 250, please give some ideas to build a cafe racer
ahh, thanks , I'm at that point ! :p I have to choose one ;) ,
I think that I will go with a CBR f2 conversion
Ahmed Salmi I'm glad for helping. Thanks for sharing your comment. Cheers.
I was going to make my S1000RR into a cafe racer but after watching this video I'm having second thoughts.
I am glad knowing that this video was helpful. :) Cheers.
Have been getting more and more intrigued by cafe racers, hoping to get my bike license soon. I've been into custom cars for a few years now with one project complete and the second one on the way, hoping the next one will be a bike. Great video! This has confirmed the idea i'v had about wanting a small Honda, maybe 250? Can anyone enlighten me as to what model of bike is at 1:57?? Love the style!!!!
X7Rotary Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I wish you good luck for your future project.Yes, at 1:57 is very beautiful bike. It is a honda Cb400 Four. Cheers.
X7Rotary Sorry for my mistake. The honda at minute 1:57, is a 1971 CB 500 By Kinetic Motorcycles. Cheers.
RACER TV Thanks for the info! Much appreciated!
+RACER TV; how are you doing? I hope everything is going great with you and family God bless you all always..!!!
Now let me tell that I have a 2004 ninja kawasaki 250r so do you think I can use the engine for a cafe racer project ??? well my friend that is my crazy question.
As always I love your videos and I thank you again for your time and for all your advices.
until next time my friend ..... Saludos:)
+franco chato Yes, i don't see why you wouldn't use that engine. I recommend you to watch my next week video. It will show you a very similar engine. I'm sure you will like it. :) Saludos.
i guess i start with a bmw r80 rt....
per me: small honda cb125/250, medium yamaha sr400 e royal enfield bullet, large honda cb 1100...
im about to bid for old police bike cbx750. they are on auction and really cheap. kinda scared to start the project.
+TruthHurt Well, if is really cheap, there isn't so risky. :) But try to think always twice. Sometimes, is better invest a little more in a great bike for cafe racer project, and do only a few changes on the transformation process. But that's up to you. Good luck. Cheers.
I have a ducati monster 821 which I made into a cafe racer I love the bike and the look. I did base the bike on the sport 1000 which I love but now is discontinued, RIP.
I love the sport 1000. I would love to see your project. Feel free to send me 1 or 2 photographs by private message on Racer TV facebook Page. :) Cheers.
Exelente !!!
TheTrapjaw Gracias. Salud.
What's the name of that crazy song ? Great video mate. As all your videos!
+T4R' M0 Thanks. The song on this video is based in the original version of "The shadows - Apache". I had to change it to fit on the video. Enjoy.
+RACER TV cheers mate
Great video, but you missed a model...the Flying Brick! Just sayin'...😊
man.. i am getting addicted to your video s.. they are so inspiring..i m gonna start a project.
i live in a small country with huge population, narrow roads and too much traffic..but also have some 4 lane highway s. maximum cc limit is 150 cc. some old cd 200 are allowed though. which will b better ? honda cd 200 roadmaster,cd 125t benly,cg 125. or any other bike under 200 cc. pleas suggest.
Thank you for your support. I usually recommend any engine with 2 cylinders. Try to find a honda Cb 125, or a CB 175, and also the CB 200. I think they have the best frames for a small cafe racer project. Cheers.
Yamaha sr 500 is my choise.Someday..
I love the way cafe racer's look. But I prefer my cruiser around my area. I would like to try a cafe racer to see how it feels though.
+Charles Gage You're right about thinking what kind of bike will serve you better. If you like long trips, maybe the cafe racer bike isn't the right bike for you. But as a second bike, i think you will love it. Thanks for sharing your comment. Cheers.
+RACER TV I agree 100%. the second bike is an excellent idea. I will be watching the videos I do like the bikes!
Informative and inspiring --- well done. What's your opinion on clubman (or drag bars) vs. clip-ons?
gmoore9449 Thanks for your kind words. I think the choice of the handlebar, depends of the personal taste of the Owner. In my opinion, the "clubmans" always gives a more retro look to the bike, while the "clip-ons", appear to be much more recent and modern. From my experience, the "retro" or "classic" look, is always very well accepted by most people. The clip-ons, is also nice, but only in a certain kind of bikes, like Ducati vs Moto Guzzi's. Cheers.
RACER TV I agree. Clip-ons are very bold, very dashing. But they look like something you'd expect to see on a competition bike (which mine isn't). A simple clubman, or even just flipping the stock bar, seems more appropriate for a recreational bike. It's also cheaper and easier. I guess a lot depends on what sort of image the rider wants. Keep making these videos!
Thank you. I would like to be having many problems with the authorities. I will go with 2000cc.
=)
Jonathan Balaban Loool.
Jonathan Balaban well if the cop on weels cannot catch the hellicopter pilot will!

Lool.
I find this video awesome, No doubt.
But i find this video motivational
Riju Rai Yes. That's exactly what i intend. Entertaining, and inspirational. Thanks for your kind words. Cheers.
awesome . subbed !
+editor alph Thank you for your suport. Cheers.
A Honda 650 is a great start.
on of the best videos
Qais Alehremi I really hope so.This was one of those videos that gave me a lot of work to finish. But it seems that it is already being very rewarding, after reading comments like yours. Thanks you for your kind words. Cheers.
Once again beautifully presented. I love the old bikes, and i feel very fortunate to live in the country that gave the "Caff Racer" to the world (no I didn't spell it wrong). I retired from work around 10yrs ago due to illness, but as with a lot of early retirement I got stupidly board, i could not focus on anything, this was down to the pain caused by my condition. The biggest problem for me was (apart from leaving a job that I loved, and paid a tidy sum) was having to sell my beloved motorcycles. The majority of which were old and English, this was simply down to the fact I didn't have the ability to kick start them, forget the fact that I was unable to ride them due to the massive amount of pain killers I was on (and still on unfortunately), anyway back to the plot. Eventually I was able to get back in the shed (sheds are like Catnip to English men) and i started to build bikes, just for the pure, frustrating pleasure of it, but obviously I went for bikes with electric start, when I was looking I noticed that over a couple of years the prices went up rapidly, and even the most mediocre of these were getting quite expensive, move on a couple more years, and they were very expensive, just look at the price of a CX500, we all know these were never going to WoW anyone (boy did I get it wrong) when I say that I ment performance wise, they will go for ever, not very quwickly, but probably outlast the Cockroach. With the 50's &60's stuff useless to me, and the 70's stuff being outside the boundaries I was willing to pay for mediocre performance, i have gone on to the 80's and 90's. I'm currently building a ZX6R and i must say it's coming together very nicely, it's got the 4 in line engine like the CB's, if you get a steel framed bike theirs no problems with moding the frame, and I've found that a great many parts are interchangeable, not just within the "family" but across the brands. With the colossal amount of aftermarket parts available even lower skill level builders can produce a unique bike, please don't get me wrong, it's not about throwing money at it, or buying a load of plastic shit from China. If your building your first bike, look, look, and look again. The best Place to get inspired is Racer TV, if you can't get inspiration from there then your fucked, give up and ride the bus. I bought this bike for £300, yes £300, yes it had been dropped by the useless shite that owned it before me, but it was only cosmetic damage, all the stuff I was going to take off anyway. All the things I was keeping were all fine, it still ran and rode fine and dandy. This is my 7th build, when I built the others my intention was to keep them, but I literally got chased down by people that wanted to buy them, and at a healthy profit. These bikes can look very nice, no their not like genuine old school, but they are demanding fortunes for them. The 70's stuff is totally different from them, but they can still look amazing, and look at the CX500, this done right is one of the very best looking "Café Racer's" out there, and that's really from the 80's don't you think? My beautiful wife has just bought me a Yamaha FZR600R 3HE 1991, and this was from a dealer (who didn't want it in his shop and the clutch sensor had gone, they thought it was nackerd) that also cost £300, and this is in such good condition I'm going to restore this to original. Buy in winter, make sure you can get parts for the right price, if you can't afford all the tools you need, find some like minded people in your area and club together, I got a stick welder for £20 and a compressed for £25, things like Carb balancers around £40. I don't throw money at anything if i can get it cheep, as long as it's good, get it. I'm fortunate, my first job was as a motorcycle apprentice, but you don't need to be able to do it all yourself, trade labour with someone that can't do what you can. You can make a beautiful bike for a very affordable price, not only will you learn something, but you may make some new mates doing it. Sorry for rattling on.
Dear Mr Shaun, Thank you for sharing your story and thoughts.
It seems that your bad luck brought a new and lovely path to your life.
And thank you Sir for all your kind words about Racer TV. I appreciate your support. And good luck with all your present and future builds. :) Cheers.
can i have the music title please. it so hypnotizing .
vim viva I'm glad you liked it. The song on this video is based in the original version of "The shadows - Apache". I had to change it to fit on the video. Enjoy.
:o great video!! .... song name?please
fernando nosecuantito Thanks. The song is based in this music: Apache - The Shadows. Enjoy.
Aqui vai o link: RD 500, RD350, RD135, RD 50, Tz750, Tz350 - Best Sounds of Yamaha Motorcycles!
Obrigado!!! Sim 2t é outra coisa.
Is a cafe racer a good first bike? I'm hoping to buy an older bike that someone has forgotten in their yard or garage and then working on it to learn as I go.
+Aaron Gallegos Well, for a first bike, is always recomendable a small one like a 125cc or a 250cc. You can always choose a cafe racer style. But if you haven't any mechanical knowledge, i don't recommend a old bike. Try to find something from the 80's or 90's. Good luck my friend. Cheers.
sukuzi trs 118 2 stroke 1986????? think I'm buying one tomorrow so I need advice fast guys!!!
doesn't have the traditional diamond frame, central pillar is vertical. can't find as much inspiration as on cg125.
love the 2 stroke sound but unsure, input and photos would be appreciated!!
I already answered on facebook. :) Cheers.
RACER TV thanks and sorry for the double messages. can't wait for the new episodes :)
anyone know of a kit for a Z1000?
What kind of software u wer using in the video........nd I really like ur videos for a beginner its a bible, Thnx all the way from India
Thank you. I use the Camtasia Studio 8. Cheers.
What kind of design u suggest for a beginner.....nd is it necessary for a beginner to learn fabrication as it is rarely available here
Hello,I am very new to the custom builds of motorbikes but I am very intrigued andmotivated to learn andeventually create a cafe racer so someone will have to enlighten me. I plan on getting a CB125 cafe racer so do I have to buy a different bike and convert it Or can I easily just buy the CB125 and switch it around a bit? (i.e seat)
YoungRider Hi. Well, first of all, if you are thinking in a Honda Cb 125, i recommend you the twin engine. The sound of 2 cylinders engines is just amazing, just like my own Honda Cb 125 B6. Yes, you can change only small things to get the right look.In this matter, i also recommend changing the seat, a lower handle bar. You can also try to degrade the front suspension, to get a lower profile, and raise the tip of the exhausts to get a cool angle.I think you see some of my videos about my honda Cb125 B6, you will get the idea of what i'm talking about. Good Luck for your project. Cheers.
RACER TV Thank you for replying, I was very confused about a custom build but now It's more understandable. So a 2 cylinder will fit in with the Honda CB125? I have looked more into it and saw that changing the seat, handlebars, lights and exhaust are the best ways that work. I am planning on lowering the handlebars and changing the seat and possibly change the frame. I will just have to learn a bit about building and look more into the lower suspension and angle the exhaust better. Thank you, the Café Racer motorbikes are amazing bikes.
YoungRider
You're welcome.
About the 2 cylinder engine, i was referring about buying an original Honda Cb 125 Twin, which has already a factory Twin engine. This would be the best option, because you wouldn't need to change the electrics.
1:57 what model is this ?
at 1:57 what is that honda is that a 750?
and also whats it called when the frame suspension is in the center
It's the Honda CB 500 By Kinetic Motorcycles.
I already made a video about it.
It was elected the Best Cafe Racer of 2014.
Here's The link:
ua-cam.com/video/u1RN8tYeEVI/v-deo.html
Cheers.
what is considered an older bike and a modern one. like year wise????? please help. i am going to start a CR project with my pops and i think i want to start with a 1979 or 80 cb550. but I'm not sure. any suggestions?
Brandon Rodriguez That's a very good question. In my opinion, old bikes should have a simple engine without water refrigeration, and the wheels should have spokes. If you are thinking in a 79/80 cb550, go with the wheels with spokes. It is one of those bikes which has a good retro flavor. Good Luck. Cheers.
thank you for the help sir. happy holidays
Just found and subbed to this channel - fantastic imagery and visuals....but what's with the odd commentary - sort of English but with an odd delivery, I can't work out if it's some kind of Northern European accent or just a style thing...can you enlighten me as it's driving me nuts??! Thanks for a great channel....looking forward to working through your back catalogue...
TheMissendenFlyer Thank you for your kind words. I'm glad you liked it.So, about the odd voice. I'm going to say something that you aren't expecting. The voice isn't real. It's made by software, and is probably the best "Robotic" voice in the world.Usually, only english language Natives are aware that this voice isn't real.I use this voice because i'm Portuguese, and my bad english accent(and voice) is very bad for the narration of the videos. But most of Racer Tv viewers love this "robotic" voice, because it is very original. This is probably one of the first channels on youtube using this kind of voice.I hope you understand. Once again, thank you for your comment. Cheers.
RACER TV...aha! That explains it - how wild is that! The voice is pretty good but the inflection is wrong and occasionally the vocabulary is a little odd....just sounds kind of weird, 95% right, very impressive for a robot though!
I figured it out right before I read this comment xD
The voice is the best part of the channel!
Moto guzzi 1975 ambassador will be my cafe!
+tank5617 Very good starting point. Good luck my friend. Cheers.
Good morning i am following you and i am very pleased to listen to you.
Please can you help me to tell.if it is possible to transform a BMW 650 Funduro to a Cafe Racer !!!.( I think it is a great engine !)
Thank you in advance, have a nice week end.
Dimitri Konstantinidis Hello Dimitri. I made a little research on the web, and it seems that your BMW 650 Funduro is very good for a Scrambler project. But for a Cafe Racer Project, it will need too much work to be done.I think it would be better selling your bike, and buying a different bmw model, but more friendly for a cafe racer conversion. I hope this would help you. Cheers.
RACER TV Good afternoon,
Thank you a lot for your immediate answer.I will thing about it,( Scramber project, mmm yes why not ) i love this bike and whant to keep it.!!!
Greatings from Greece.
what program are you using to read the script? cos that doesnt sound like a real voice.....its close but not quite here
Lord Bravery Sorry, but this is one of those secrets that i can't share. It took me several months of research to find this voice, and never revealed it to anyone. I hope you understand. But i'm sure that the software uses a real voice samples. Cheers.
Is a honda cg125 a pretty good one for casual use and first time cafe racer build?
+McMuffinFluffin Yes it is.
There are many interesting cafe racer projects based in the Honda CG 125.
But if you could buy a honda Cb 125 twin, it would be even better. There is nothing like the sound of a twin engine.
try to search for "Chimpa TMC Honda CG 125", and you will find some interesting cafe racer kits for the CG 125. Good luck. Cheers.
+RACER TV haha cool thanks
i'm going to make a suggestion. I'm working on a new a video to elect the Top 10 best cafe racers, but only with amateur home builds. Keep watching my videos, because in the future i'm going to give the instructions to submit the bikes. I can not promise that your project will be selected for the election, but you can always try.
Saludos
Hi. great video I was wondering, what kind of Honda CB that is at 6:36 , year model and cc? and where can I find more about it if there is any homepage just hand me a link in your comment "Any One" ?? Thanks for the Video!!
Aleksi Dahl Thanks. Try to find on google for Honda CB400 Four by Faisal Malik, and you will see several information about it. Cheers.
Thanx alot!! :)
Are Cafe Racers for short riders? As I’m 5ft10 and I once rode one and it was too low for me . What bike suits my height
Absolutely not. One of the advantages of a custom motorcycle(Like a Cafe Racer), is setting the height of the motorcycles according to the needs of the owner. But you can always try a Scrambler project. Cheers.
Very nice video about cafer racer choice! Maybe the best. What is the model at 1:57 ?
Bob Jacques Thank you for your kind words. The bike is a Honda Cb 400 Four. Cheers.
mystic1754
Thanks for sharing all these tips. Cheers.
can anyone tell what is the brand and model off the 3 bikes that appear on the old lady at the window scene at the end of this great video....?
Dário Barreiro Triumph T150 Trident 750. a Triumph Bonneville and a BSA. Sorry but i don't know the models of the BSA and the Triumph. Cheers.

Hi.

Asen Vukadinov Yes, very beautiful bike. It is a honda Cb400 Four.
Asen Vukadinov Sorry for my mistake. The honda at minute 1:58, is a 1971 CB 500 By Kinetic Motorcycles. Cheers.
what type is the white Honda bike at 1:56?
+valentin goderis That's the Honda CB 500 By Kinetic Motorcycles. I already made a video about it. It was also elected the best cafe racer of 2014. Cheers.
Can you suggest a bike for cafe racer to build in India.
Sorry, but only someone who is living in India can help you about that. Unfortunately, i don't have enough information to help you on that. Good luck. Cheers.

Andrew Cote The bike you see at 1:56 is a triumph thruxton or a triumph bonneville. Are you sure that the honda you liked is at 1:56?
+RACER TV; THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR RESPONSE SO QUICKLY,
I WAS WONDERING AND THINKING ALSO ABOUT THE "PROPORTIONS " OF THE FRAME.
I'LL BE WAITING FOR YOUR NEXT WEEK VIDEO FOR SURE IT WILL BE HELPFUL FOR ME....!
HAVE A WONDERFUL TIME GOD BLESS YOU,

Why these long endings? 3 minutes or more. Any reason for that? Besides that, your videos are spot on! :-) Cheers!
John Mård Sorry, but is difficult to explain. All i can say , is that there a technical reasons for doing that long endings. Thank you for sharing your kind words. Cheers.
Well, I can live with it! You just keep on making those lovely films of yours! :-)
source on the music please. also guzzi v7 is my choice
v3ltrucci The song on this video is based in the original version of "The shadows -
Apache". I had to change it to fit on the video. Enjoy and thanks for sharing your choice. Cheers.
I want to build one for daily use and not to much money... Any examples for some good and not too expensive bikes?
+Hasan Emergöfz Well, it very hard answering to your question. There are so many variables which can influence your choice.
But basically, try to buy a motorcycle that requires very little changes for a Cafe Racer.
Something that only need a Cafe Racer seat and a low handlebar. Good luck. Cheers.
Might be a bit late but I recently saw a UA-cam video series on Converting a Kawasaki Ninja 250 into a cafe racer look alike via a conversion kit. A few sore points stuck out, such as the reused stock tank looks wrong and the front end appears too tall but its an easy conversion and works for a fixed budget. Search UA-cam for SonicDad, I think was the channel name.

gorillaau
Thank you for your suggestion. I already saw the video, but to be honest, the bike is not my "cup of tea". Looks too modern for a cafe racer project. But thanks for your help. Cheers.
No prizes for second , I've had the trumph choppers , norton commando , harley FLH , these days and for the last several years a production racing bike kAtAnA 1981 1100
Same engines in tight groups of peole/buddies also reduce maintance time and costs.
morfeas333 You are absolutely right. When the bikes are identical, all the knowledge, tips and mechanical issues, can be shared, saving time and money. Thanks for sharing your comment. Cheers.
RACER TV No problem mate. Me and my wife had this conversation when we wanted to buy our bikes and we chose the same model to save our pockets.
What about honda cb350's.. i herd they are reliable and parts are easy to find
9graff9 As i said in the video, the choice of the bike depends mainly of the kind of usage you will give it. If you think the Honda Cb 350 is the right one, go for it. Yes they are reliable, and many spare parts are still available. Good luck. Cheers.
But in your opinion what do you think of yhem... cb350k and cb350f
9graff9
Both are good choices for a cafe racer project. But i think the CB 350 K is better. The twin engine sound has more character. Cheers.
RACER TV agreed, im thinking of buying a cb350 twin.. it sounds nice with shorty exhaust's on.. what type of exhaust would you recommend on those cb350 twins? I know it depends on the person ..
9graff9 I found these exhausts recently, and i think they are very good. Not too loud (apparently), with the typical cafe british sound. Here's the link: ua-cam.com/video/DCj-BVyGz7c/v-deo.html
does anyone know what honda engine is the one in the 1:57?
+Sandy Rodriguez I already made a video about that bike. Try to search on youtube for "Cafe Racer (Honda CB 500 By Kinetic Motorcycles)". Cheers.
thanks man i really appreciate
Cheers.
Nice music
I'm glad you liked my friend. :) Cheers.
Cafe racers are the antidote to "biegeness"
***** I'm sure your comment has good intentions, but what does mean "biegeness". I tried it on Google translater, but it didn't appear any result. Maybe "Bigness"?
RACER TV LOL
Well to be fair to you beigeness is a term used in Scotland and it comes from the colour beige - which represents boredom
So yes my comment was well intentioned and it means that I find cafe racers exciting and wish there were more of them
Thanks for the great videos - love them
***** I'm glad you explained. I completely agree with your sentence. Thanks for your kind words. Cheers.
Honda CB400Four is the most beautiful stock cafe racer
Lim Kelvin Thanks for sharing your opinion. Cheers.
1:56 what Honda is that?
Maybe a cb360
