In the summer of 1985 I went into a toy shop here in England and they had a whole bunch of brand new Star Wars figures that I had never seen before! I was pretty blown away and had to choose one (I was only a kid and I guess I could only afford or be allowed to have one of them.) Anyway after quite a bit of pondering I had got it narrowed down between the two that I liked the most. In the end I figured that it would be more useful to have another addition to the Imperial forces than yet another Jabba goon who I loved but were already pretty well represented with figures. I made my choice and I bought the cool looking Imperial Gunner and left behind Yak Face on the peg.. don't think I ever saw another one for sale apart from that one time.

It’s crazy that you only had one shot to grab Yakface on a cardback. The last 6 POTF figures I bought at retail were the one and only time I saw them on a peg. If I had passed on any of em I would’ve had to buy them on the secondary market at a later date. I talk about that score on another video entitled Crazy POTF score at Toys R Us in 1985! If you haven’t checked that one out give it a view to see what you think. Thanks for the memory you shared and thanks for watching! MTFBWY

Hello, I’m thinking u must’ve forgotten Kenner Canada (I believe) for the POTF Yak. He comes with the coin & weapon. The trilogo has no coin nor weapon. The coin goes for like a thousand dollars…

Thank you for the info. I thought I mentioned the Canadian release but I shot the Yak segment twice and just realized in the one I used I failed to mention the Canadian version. I always say that I’m learning all the time. Thanks for the correction and thanks for watching
