Tire stickers are awesome, ive been using them for years on my pickup, they last forever and aren't as delicate as they make them out to be, the last set I purchased off of eBay and I'm going on 4 years with them and still look good. Imo it has to do with how you put them on, anyhow car looks amazing bro

Rubber cement did not work

Ok, so how did you prep your tires? The rubber cement works; also, you can try 401 glue. It's a rubber to rubber bonding glue. Be careful. It runs like super glue, and it dries quickly. Also, be prepared for what I call letter pops. As a result, the tires on dodges expand and contract a lot from the heat generated while driving, so when you first apply them, one or a few letters may partially come away from the tire at specific points of the letters, mainly on the outer side of the tires closest to the road. At this point, you want to have your glue of choice with you, and you will have to apply some in those areas of the tire letters, and then once that stops after a few rides, you should be all good. The car in this video still has all the letters, including the replacements from minor curb rash that I replaced in another video I posted on how to return your TireStickers.

Thanks for the view and comment. I got with my local vinyl shop and had some custom vinyls made and I was able to color match the vinyl. The font for the oem Daytona is LHF CONVECTA just get what ever shop you go to, to slightly slant the font in the right direction and boom you will have the daytona font to a T.

What kind of person can you take it to for sticker installs? Just a regular mechanic? I don’t want to do them myself
You have to hit up a modification shop that does vinyls. They would be more likely to apply the tires other than that hit up people in your area on FB, IG, TikTok. This is how the owner of this car found me he reached out on social media because we actually live in the same area.
My letters (nitto) came individually… just use the glue and do you think if I used scotch tape to hold the letters while they dry would help with curing?
Yes, it should. Painters tape works as well.

Do I have to take the tires off in order to apply the tire stickers?
No you don’t have to, I do so I can line up the TireStickers all at once instead of applying the top then rolling the vehicle to apply the other side of the tire.
Good luck on keeping them clean. I had them and they are A PAIN IN THE ASS!! They look good but barely bump a curb, done. And you have to clean them everyday
They are dependent on the roads that you're driving on on a daily. My buddy hasn't had any problems with his.

No you don’t have to. I did my best to line them up because the owner wanted them that way. It all depends on what tire you have and what words you ordered to see how much space you have if any to line them up a certain way.

Hey so sorry for the late response. The font used for this set of TireStickers is unknown by the owner. I would guesss serpentine II then again you can compare these letters to the chart they have of all the fonts they have. You can also send them fonts of your choice. These TireStickers can be customizable from top to bottom literally and made in almost any color.

How thick are those stickers? I'm eyeballing some stickers that are 3 mm thick, seems like a lot to me but is it though?
Not sure on the font but if you go to the TireStickers website you can match the font up and the thickness is probably a little thinner than 3mm. Thanks for the response.

Bleach white or surface prep, also you can get surface prep from this company called lone star coating technology that’s what I use when ever I detail a car and it works very well.

Do they make the for low profile tires
Thanks for the comment and view. Yes they have a tire calculator on their website. It will let you know the maximum sizes you can go up to and let you know how low you can go on the tire letter size.

How tall are they 1 inch or they bigger
Hi thanks for the comment and view. The TireSticker size is 1.25 for these particular tires which are 275/40/20 if you have the 245/40/20 I recommend the third TireSticker size for that size tire because of the brand of tire which is the Goodyear brand I believe, that particular tire they chose to put on the 9” wide rim had a lip mid way in the tire wall which causes a significant gap when applying TireSticker decals. If you do decide to go with the 1.25 just make sure to use extra glue to sure up the gap so the TireStickers get a full top to bottom bond also use masking tape to help hood them in place as you apply them, this will help cut down on the install time. Instead of you having to press them down for each one until they bond completely to the tire because of that gap. On the srt rims which are 9.5” the tire brand they used is pirelli and that tire has no gap midway in the sidewall. Also be aware of your tires expanding, meaning carry glue with you for the first week after install. To touch up any “tire pops” is what I have come to call them, because when you install the TireStickers they are of course installed on a cool tire that is not the same size when hot (daily driving) the tires expand when driving which causes the sidewalls to flex which leads to one of two things your TireStickers will crack because of the sidewall expanding and you having a very good bond or they will come apart from the tire a little bit. You will notice one of the two situations happen. The cracking is not bad but you will notice it, it will not distort the product. I hope was able to answer your question and also give you insight on what to expect.
