Your knowledge knows no bounds. Mexican coinage is certainly interesting to research 👍🏻😊
Everyone has knowledge we can learn from. Thanks Georgie.
Mexican coinage is very fun to collect. I like the variations of their revolution money.
Yes, they are nice, they have pretty and ugly coins.
11:29 - it is compared to our country that has only two bimetallic coins in circulation: ₱10 and ₱20 coins. So, we are just as much as most of the European countries. And yes, we are the one of two southeast Asian countries to have two bimeetallic coins, and Timor-Leste is also included.
Saidi Arabia now has 2 bimetallic coins. Most Asian countries have no bimetallic coins, while Algeria has 5.

Saudi Arabia is in the western part of Asia, though.
13:11 - for this coin series, it is obvious that a woman is the last man standing, as this female saint was in the highest denomination coin.
Fun fact: in 1991, they tested the new 100, 200 peso aluminium coins, 500, 1000 peso aluminium bronze coins, and 2000 peso bimetallic coins into circulation, but they cancelled anyway in favour of the redenominated ones. There wasn't any report about the redesign of the 50 peso coin although it was finally included in the redenominated one in 1995 as the 5¢ coin.
Numista has various pattern coins of them in different metals. Thanks for the info mate.
