Do you need a pc to use
Just got mine a few days ago. Could have gotten an Ultragear 27” OLED, but got the nano-ips at a great price ($250!). Looking forward to getting it set up today and trying it out. 🙂
I got one today but the audio dosnt work only on headphones and im searching rn
@@42GT There’s no speakers with that model. You have to get a sound bar or headphones, which was ok with me because I needed headphones anyway, since I’m going to be on DCS World. For that I need a mic and head tracking, and I got some headphones that do both, plus 7.1 surround sound with 3d audio. They’re the hyper x cloud orbit s which are really good sounding, but I need to be careful or reinforce them since they have a tendency to crack. I got them new for $150 though so I couldn’t pass it up.

There's a button on the bottom of the screen. You can move it left and right to adjust the volume. To adjust other settings, press and hold that button and push forward, backwards, left, and right for navigation

I’m having the absolute worst time with this monitor, reds are pinkish, blues are green. All the colors are messed up. I tried messing around with the 6 color function, and nothing works. Hate this thing, I use it on ps5 and I feel like I have to change the color settings for each game.

What is a different? LG GB850 and LG GB850-B ?
The 850b has a slightly faster refresh rate. Normally the refresh rate is 165hz, but this model is boosted up to 180hz. It also has some motion smoothing technology which involves black Frank insertion to reduce blurring. Both features are nice but not necessary, and imo don’t warrant an additional $100 to the price tag.

You can connect speakers through the jack port it has, speakers such as the creative pebble 2.0, they have to be of that style, so you can get audio, there is also the option of connecting headphones through the same jack port tho

@@FrankCantu1125 Right? That stupid silver metal piece is attached inside the monitor cover. I have only found one video that is really short and basically says you have to pop the cover off with a credit card or screwdriver, and then unscrew it. Always makes me nervous blindly popping off plastic covers 😬
@@FrankCantu1125I did have mine mounted with monitor arms so the metal piece wasn't an issue but now I am swapping my monitors over to fixed wall mounts and I can't because of that metal piece. Guess I will give popping the cover a shot...wish me luck!
@@linkgunther1618 Yeah it was ridiculous. I basically had to find a very thin screwdriver to pry it open enough to fit another bigger screwdriver that I could pull and pop it open with. I also had to find screws that fit it. Luckily, I had extra that I owned from some tv mount I bought months prior. Good luck!!

this monitor is a piece of trash. It broke TWICE, first time only 3 months after I got it the power went out and it just became black. RMA'd it and then it became all vertical lines 6 months later
