Being devils advocate here… would anything short of a sudden collab/royalty offer to Kaizen/Gympin offer from PrX have swayed public opinion on this? Not saying the way they rolled the product out wasn’t iffy, but we dont know what went on during the failed collab between them prior to the Prx release.
@@aba192 I don't have a monetary stake in it, but from a viewer perspective, if they just said, "Sorry we F'd up here, we'll try learn from this going forward so it doesn't happen again." would have sufficed even if it were just lip service.
Regarding the PRx patent, from my understanding that they patented the assembled Lever Arm KIT that includes functionality of both the KaizenxGymPin/Vendetta adapters. Them saying they won't try to stop KaizenxGymPin/Vendeta is likely the aftermarket adapters for existing lever arms. With their patent however, I believe it would prevent KaizenxGympin and Vendetta from partnering with another manufacturer to sell a full lever arm kit with the integrated adapters. I could be wrong but thats how the patent reads to me and makes sense off of how they specifically worded their statement.
I'd love to be a part of a brain trust. "Welcome to our brain trust-where we're like Pinky and the Brain, except our grand plan is to conquer the home gym equipment market. Same level of genius, way fewer attempts to take over the world!"
There is nothing more ugly in this world than greed. PRX proved that greed is a core value of their business. Integrity is not a core value in that company
@@Frennemydistinction further, he has no history of producing clickbait attacking content. That really tainted anything they said after that. Might has well have just said that and cut the video.
I own the Griffin Jammer Arms 2.0 and the Rep ISO Arms and I like both but the Griffins are superior in my opinion... I had to mount both on their own 4 post PR-5000s to get the most out of them as I also have a 6 post PR-5000 w/Ares and it was just way too much sharing the same upright space... ATX has more to offer for the 3x3 1" system than PRX does, just sayin'.
What Coop said, technically not illegal but definitely not ethical. The backlash they'll probably get from the home gym community will probably be pretty huge for a long time. They would have been better off including kaizan and just giving him a little piece of the pie.
Agree they are scum bags, their stuff is for smaller budget amateur home gyms most of us have far better Rep and Rogue setups, most of us buy cable systems and NOT jammer arms due to bad range of motion and time to setup and they don't care about bad goodwill in a segment they aren't GOOD ENOUGH to attract anyway. I'd go after Mr Wonderful for supporting unethical business practices. Boycott all his brands. He could resolve this with one 5 min phone call.
It's hard to take a bad situation and make it worse, but they seemed to find a way.
Seems to be the consensus

I thought their response was spectacular, I use it as a sleep aid, in under 4 minutes I get so sleepy and drift off so easily!!!
Jammer Gate 🍿🥤
Oh that's good
PRX has learned nothing until they do right by these guys.
Deny their entry. At HomeGymCon 2025
If you wanted to throw in the best lever arm handles on the market, I’d be on board.
Thanks for the shout out!
Don’t try the drinking game!!! 😂😂😂
😂😂
It's an interesting situation. Things like this always happens. Social Media makes it easier to see and find out about.
I think the accusations of you being click baity was the worse. That was a shot at your character.
Agreed. Attacking a guy a likeable as Kaizen is a real dumb move.

SUP!
You dont spend thousands on a patent unless you plan on stopping people.
good point

There are several distilleries or distillery experiences downtown you can hit up when you’re here next year.

I"m in on the braintrust idea
Have thought about this before - it may happen
an incubator/brain trust would be great!
It's time to go Rogue
Braintrust…sign me up!
What do you think of adding your iso arms idea to the rhino? Lengthen the upright 3x3 if needed and it would be an interesting product.

It may be legal just not ethical
