    I got the Titan Fitness Squat Max MD. It's incredible; I have no complaints. I hope they come out with all of Brian's attachments with the squat max he makes. I had a lever belt squat when I had a smaller home gym set up; I was not too fond of it. I saw the Design Build Lifts block system belt squat setup and the Home Gym Hacks and Reviews belt squat setup, and I built those because they were stored in a minimal area (about the size of a standing bench). After squatting like that, I decided not to use a lever or cable set up for a belt squat. The only difference between Squat Max MD and the box/block setup is it's much safer for you to squat without holding onto something explosively. If you don't have room for a squat max, build the block system set up, then get the squat max.

    I 100 percent agree with Kurt about stipulating that the contestants actually have home gyms. Otherwise it’s just another competition. And if you’re putting up enough prize money, athletes will travel to different facilities to train on specific pieces of equipment to get ready. Powerlifters do that now for much less money than you guys were suggesting. I think keeping it to mystery events highlights the fact that a lot of us train to be able to handle unexpected life events so a comp with all mystery events that each target one of the fundamental human movements would show who actually is prepared for anything.

    The leg curl / extension - that is the only piece of equipment that I've kept since starting my basement gym in 2021 whereas everything else has been upgraded. It's very nice to have, nice spot to put my laptop during non-leg days also, or my kiddo sits on it sometimes.

    Yeah, I couldn’t go without the 4 of 5 items you mentioned - I don’t have adjustable dumbbells but can appreciate the space/time savings as well. It’s crazy but not surprising how much ground Rep has made up since 2020, they are really listening to customer feedback and innovating . I’m happy to hear that Kyle, Britton & PRX worked things out, last I spoke with them and Ben/Chris at GymPin it wasn’t resolved but that just after the PRX video. Hopefully PRX learns from that experience and does better by small creators in the future.

I’m looking at a pair of milled hundreds that have the really wide raised center and four spokes, but can’t date them. So we needed an hour here to find out they ate, drank, and played water sports together? PRX still comes off as trash imo because it’s clear they only decided to do this because of the negative comments. If there were no negative comments then they wouldn’t have reached out to Kaizen and Britton. It was a business move, not a “we had to make it right” move.

    • @xanderverse1474
      @xanderverse1474 12 днів тому

      Yeah, still waiting to hear how this will be “handled.” I have Rogue and Rep jammer arms both with Kaizen and Vendetta adapters so I don’t NEED the PRX version, but damn if those pop pins aren’t nice. If Britton and Kyle are compensated for each purchase then I’d consider selling mine and buying a set, if not then mine work just fine.

      @time.4174 12 днів тому

      @@xanderverse1474how do the Griffin 2.0 jammer arms look in your opinion? I’m considering those since they have the height adjustment and articulating function built in. The only thing holding me back is they only have 5 height adjustment holes but I may be able to work with that anyway.

    • @xanderverse1474
      @xanderverse1474 12 днів тому

      @@time.4174those look solid, really similar to the Rep arms with the Vendetta adapter with the addition of pop pins for the horizontal plane without the full 180° ROM. I love the change that Britton’ made to the pop pin in back for one handed operation on the Rep adapter - the turret system has a cool factor for the Rogue arms but in actual use they are terrible for lowering one handed, and it looks like they incorporated a similar sliding lock. Tbh in my current configuration I don’t think that I’ve locked my arms passed 90° or so unless I’m trying to store them out of the way. When I have the time I want to reconfigure my Rep rack to an overbuilt Hyperion and use the Rep arms with handles and rollers for pull-overs, at which point I’ll use them above that 90° position.

    I’ve had my stepper for a month now and when I received it. The monitor was not functioning. It took me a week to get in contact with someone about this matter then they made make a video of the monitor not responding that was three weeks ago.they said they would send out a new monitor that was two weeks ago. I haven’t heard anything from the company. I’ve called several times I emailed with no response. I finally got an email telling me to download some software onto a drive And upload it to the stepper so I did that but I also told them how am I supposed to upload it if the touchscreen is not functioning so I had to purchase a USB adapter to plug the drive and a USB mouse into the machine to get it to function and upload the software after that process it still didn’t function or recognize touch so I emailed Nicole 2 days ago and I still haven’t heard anything from her. I’ve called the office and she’s avoiding my calls, apparently replacement equipment. It’s not readily available, this is a $8000 PC equipment and I haven’t been able to use since it was delivered I would definitely not recommend this company and most of the information online is coming from people that work for the company
