Can we just like sit back, and appreciate looking at these two succesful dudes we've followed for years, them being friends for years, been on this long journey for years ever since the 240p stream quality days with "use the shovel", "pyah", and many other meme/funny days. And now, they're rich, succesful, and not only that, the last 7 min of the vid is just them dropping fat pieces of gold, honesty and just straight facts. That was a REALLY good insight/deep talk about success, talent, and recognition as a content creator

Soda, you might want to get "PPF" on the car, aka "Paint Protection Film". It will keep the paint brand new for a lifetime and protect against unavoidable stone chips, scratches and even "light damage" to the chassi. It will cost you a few grand and its a good investment to keep the GT3 in peak condition while using it daily. It will also ease you're potential stress and anxiety while driving it in big crowds, or like this when ppl swarming it for photos etc. Congrats on the car, well deserved and i am looking forward seeing more IRL GT3 driving streams :D
Im posting this comment a last time, maybe he will see it, or if someone who knows him personally should really give him this advice asap regarding putting PPF on his GT3 :) Nick "the car guy" should know about this... since hes claiming hes a real car guy :D

I grew up around the same time as you. I had an xfire stream with 120 viewers daily of me playing my rogue in arena. My parents didn't let me pursue my dream and instead I ended up going to college to become a lawyer. A lot of things stopped me from finishing my degree and I ended up at a dead end job and I pass my time by watching Twitch aka Justin.TV from back in the day. The Porsche 911 GT3 is my dream car. Ever since I was a kid I wanted a Porsche 911 with a whale tail. Congratulations on your victory sir.

About the 'ask me in a week thing': Soda, this isn't the typical story about a hard working man who finally get to buy his dream car. What i see, is a young fella, who has potential of beeing a good racer. Make this car your new hobby. For real. Take courses. Be a safe, good and fast driver (on the track). Learn with the car. Grow with the car. And you will see yourself still enyoing the car many years later.
Most of the people who get to buy car's like your GT3 drive for about 30 minutes, every 3rd day and that's it. So be different, you know better!

This was a really good video. I’m in quite a similar position (only not via streaming/any fame-type thing) and I felt like I saw a little more of a real side and that I was just hanging out with a couple of my mates.
Was really interesting to hear the takes on success via things such as streaming from the perspective of those that have done it (we far more often hear about everyone’s opinions on that as outsiders)

Yeah same. I watched jokerd since classic launch cause he's better than most and more dedicated for sure, he basically made himself through effort and held on to viewers with entertainment and constant talking.
Yeah i get the part that alot of luck is involved to get noticed but that some of these guys isnt talented is just a pure lie. Asmongold is a good example of someone who has talent for streaming weather you like him or not. He is an expert at making content out of anything, giving funny pseudo intellectual analysis of situations etc. He is also extreamly good at choosing the right things out of his chat to read and discuss opens up for better streams and more content. If you look at majority of streamers its not many that do this close to his level except for some of the top streamers ofc(excluding those who are just sick at all games, thats a diffrent type of talent) No but the conclusion is there is a talent to being a very good streamer is way of creating and seeing oppurtunity for entertainment. Not all have it tho some rly just are underserving and lucky.
