    Wife ran that trail In her talon back in October. I was on the honda foreman so I just ran the blue and green trails and met her at the end. She said it was a blast.

    Hey Jesse nice video. Why didn’t y’all video 78? We were there couple weeks ago and I lost almost all my footage. Would have like to seen that 78.

    • @TheCanAmCrew
      @TheCanAmCrew  2 роки тому

      We did film 78. 78 went left and 77 went right. We didn’t get to film 77. Ran out of time this day. I prefer going up trails rather than down and we would have needed to back track some to hit it going up. We hit a few other double blacks this trip that will be coming up. There’s still a lot of double blacks left of the table for a return trip though.

    • @TheCanAmCrew
      @TheCanAmCrew  2 роки тому

      Thank you, and that’s a great question. I’m not very familiar with campgrounds in this area since we haven’t hit this system since we switched over to camping. I do know the devils backbone adventure resort has rv sights and is close to the buffalo mountain system.

    I've noticed that you use Lifetime Trailmaps and Back Country Navigator on your ride(s). I also have both apps and I've found that Back Country Navigator can take some time to use to its' fullest potential. Planning a route to follow on it can be a daunting task. Do you ever plan routes to follow on either Back Country Navigator or Lifetime Trailmaps or do you use them just to see where you located on the trails? I like the terrain overlays of Back Country Navigator vs. Lifetime Trailmaps which appear very sterile with its' white background. To all members of "The Crew" Have a Blessed and Healthy Christmas and a Safe New Year !!!

    • @TheCanAmCrew
      @TheCanAmCrew  2 роки тому +1

      I definitely prefer bcn over lifetime for the simple fact that I can run a satellite background, I feel like it’s a little more user friendly, the waypoints are little better but like you said the one downfall is that you can’t pre route a trip like lifetime. I use lifetime when I’m somewhere that I don’t have gpx files for bcn. I’m wondering if I would be able to route a trip on lifetime and export that over to bcn, lifetime might have that feature locked out. Anyway, I don’t normally route rides out simply because I pretty much already know where I’m going before hand or Cooper will co pilot and say turn right or left haha. But I wouldn’t definitely pay more for bcn to add that option.

    • @TheCanAmCrew

      Almost forgot. I hope you and your family have a merry Christmas and happy new year as well.

    • @southernsxsriding3366
      @southernsxsriding3366 2 роки тому

      @@TheCanAmCrew I was wondering the same thing as well. The gpx files might be able to be exported from Lifetime Trailmaps like BobT maps are when uploading his trail updates. I bet you could find a saved route in the appropriate Lifetime Trailmaps file folder to export. Since BCN loads gpx files to the bcnav file folder on your tablet I'd be willing to bet LTM's has a similar file on your tablet.

    • @TheCanAmCrew
      @TheCanAmCrew  2 роки тому +1

      @@southernsxsriding3366 yes sir. I would assume that is possible. I know there are a few features lifetime has locked but I’m definitely going to try this one when I get a minute.

    • @southernsxsriding3366
      @southernsxsriding3366 2 роки тому

      @@TheCanAmCrew If you are successful in importing a saved route into BCN I would be very interested in knowing what it took to accomplish it....maybe a video about it perhaps!!

      Thank you, the trails were nice and smooth. We rode a lot of the black and double blacks this trip so we experienced a lot of rocks but the greens and blues weren’t bad at all. In the next video we hit some awesome outlaw trails surrounding bearwallow. Those trails were great.
