For the twentieth human there is actually a serpent hole called the chasm overlook. It is on the other side of the wooden path on the top section. It is near the Chosen area.
It should be noted that rescuing 5 humans earns you a talisman from Ulthane called Rider's Mercy, and that every 5 humans you rescue earns you an additional perk for that talisman.

There is a Serpent Hole near 15:30, it's called Chasm Overlook. almost next to it. Where you see the first spearman demon near the crushing machine, in the scaffolding, across the small bridge.
the one at 10:05 omfg frustrating!!!!! I know this guy makes the jump look easy but I had to try probably about 30 times before I timed my double jump right and Fury finally grabbed the ledge.

Was getting demolished on my initial playthrough(challenging) this helped give me a decent power boost was at the point i was able to grab 19 of these puny mortals and just having the knowledge of where the 20th one was is super helpful great quality and great guide man keep it up!
Here is a bug you guys can chose to exploit or not. The game for some reason does not start the Humans saved count over when you start a new playthrough (I just started a new playthrough and got 15 saved humans trophy on my first saved human of the playthrough). I am no trophy hunter but I had to look this up as I figured it had to be a bug.
Excellent video and the quality makes the game look better than any other video, trailers for the game included, ever did. Side note about how 'saving' humans looks a lot like disintegrating them, heh. I'll take your word for it!

@@hamfxbe Its not really a metroidvania, its a hack n slash, like god of war and devil may cry, but yeah they removed the map to make the game like dark souls, it was mistake.
Don't use the free level shards until late game Put 20 points in strength asap just gotta farm it out. Than put 20 points in hp. When you get the first enhancement buff it's hp gift rather then it's damage gift. Once you make it to the dark section in the bug area find the train at the back of the area crawl under and get the enhancement that's hidden in that cave. Max that thing asap. You now can easily win the game on apocalyptic. I did not find any enemies that could 1 shot with the hp stat that high, plus the enhancement from the bug cave makes you take less damage.
saving humans over multiple saves is most likely a glitch so take advantage of it as soon as you can because there is always a chance that is going to get patched but if you are going to get the platinum you will sooner or later have to play the game on apocalyptic so my advise is to get all 20 on your apocalyptic run because the bonuses you get for saving them will help you a lot
This game is so beautiful, i love it. It stayed true to it's previous two games with a big world full of puzzles, challenging battles, alot of sidequests and a beautiful story of the four horsemen and demons, angels, charred council, humans, makers and so much more. Please Gunfire Games studio make a 4th game with Strife the same way as the previous horsemen and his own story!!!!!
For the Cargo Hold one, there is a shorter path. From the Cargo Ship Serpent Hole, go past the right side of the hole left by the Kraken, with the wall on your right. Continue through the next right hand turn, and you end up on the collapsed bit of freeway near the updrafts. From there, it is the same.

World just too large so important to explore throughly at each area which I did fairly good but not good enough. I got the humanitarian achievement thanks to you as well as a few other trinkets which may come in handy with the upcoming DLC!
The Serpent Hole closest to the last human would be the Chasm Overlook. Ride the platform and just look left and you'll see it. Very easy to miss if you're not paying attention
Holy shit those two in the Tangled Grotto were well hidden. I found the first, looked for the second and assumed I found it, and then watched your video and realized I'd missed an entire section of the Grotto when I explored it the past two times. Thanks a lot for the video.

Had 19 humans and never WOULD have found the last, because it was in a room off to the side of someplace I'd already been. The "Sunken Tracks" one, 17 on the list. I never would have checked back there on my own thinking I already did it, but I KNEW I never got a human there . Found the other 19 on my own, so that was driving me nuts.

I got this trophy on my third playthrough, the trophy didnt pop on my first playthrough when I was certain i got them all, save another 5 still no trophy, so i started another run (mainly coz i remember where the first 5~6 humans are). trophy + platinum finally poped when the 1st human with the cut scene is saved...... this is the most glitch game I have ever played in my life :(
IMO this game needs some easier track of what humans you've saved or not. Or some indication in the warp menu if there's one you haven't rescued in an area or something. I just can't remember what ones I've saved or not lol. I'm at, I think, about 17? Just missing 3 before I finish the game.
I have now spent >2 hours backtracking over all these locations, and most locations I've gone to three times. No achievement. The tracker says I have 18, so two of them glitched. Hopefully the glitch sorts itself out when I do another playthrough? Anyways, great video.
Missed 11 and 20 thanks been loving the game got the first two a while ago for like $5 total and haven't tried them,but after playing the third one I'll give the other two a go and wait for Genesis BTW I'm lvl20 and only have Pride left and the end boss? on challenging and I noticed that it doesn't have a trophy making it and story mode the only two you don't get a trophy for completing what gives feel like I should of just played on Apocalyptic.

"For those confused on where the 20th human is after they've defeated the sin of the scar area or beat the game but missed it, all you simply have to do is fast travel to the drilling annex, and jump up the oversized drillbit located in front of vulgrim when you spawn, get to the second level, and follow the path to right; swing across and follow the path to your right" now the corrected part. left side is a hole in wall go in it, you will come out at conveyor belt

Haven ( 18000 +/-) Starting at West End Catacombs, start at The Lord of Hollows' chamber (21000 +/-) The Nether (16000 +/-) start anywhere, most annoying map. Bonelands (22000 +/-) starting at Hulking Carcass Depths (12000 +/-) start anywhere, another annoying map. Scar (13000 +/-) Starting at Gnarled Cliffs. Must die after completing run, to reset all monsters. Use lava in Catacombs to do so. Having Balanced Maurader can increase all totals based on sellable drops.
For human #5 you dont have to wait for the Force hollow, you can actually use the bug in one of the rooms to absorb the purpley shit and throw it at the wall I JUST got the storm hollow and ive already saved that human

The first human was not easy to find with this guide, you shouldn't cut such a large chunk of the map out of your guides... especially with these graphics where everything looks pretty much the same. I'm looking for another video guide.

No close serpent hole is false. The chasm overlook is on the catwalk just above the tumblers with the chunk of adamantite, and the human.
