My fold 2's inner screen spoilt for reason I'm not quite sure of and the front screen keeps getting new lines so...... It might be a me problem but just make sure if you have a fold you have a backup@@js0uthh
Why say "foldable phones" and only speak about the Smasung? Probably, the most interesting phone movements nowadays happen outside the three behemots Apple, Samsung and Google, now three conservative makers. At least, it would be better to write "Samsung Fold" in the title.
I get your point. In North America we don't have easy access to Folds from other companies besides Google and Samsung. When Fold5 came out the original Pixel fold was available, but I disliked the size :) I plan on checking out folds that aren't available here soon
This is my testimony and when it comes to foldables even though Samsung has the best software in the market. I've had bad experiences with their foldables especially when I had their z fold 4 you should be getting a foldable phone without compromises because I bought that foldable and The day I picked up my mother from LAX, I decided to shoot some pictures of planes that were slowly moving as a taxied brittle Park and unload passengers for my cameras to completely wipe out and break. And it was an internal problem and you're getting a goddamn $1,000 plus phone that really isn't going to perform properly. That is stupid and the fact that on the new model they only added a 1 mm difference on the cover display. You've got people hating Google 's pixel fold so hard that it's been a hell of a roller coaster. As soon as I walked into my local Best buy and I played with the pixel 9 pro fold, I realized how fun foldables could be again cuz you get an 8-in display a regular size cover display in the front that is actually useful when you are in places where the inner display cannot be accessed. Samsung devices have really lost their touch in the hardware now we have to see what the Galaxy z fold 6 special edition brings to the table and if that's the phone that's going to give them the percentage they lost in the market and put them back. Not only as the King and pioneer of foldables, but also keep them as King of the mountain with their best software and we shall see how their new hardware competes in the markets where it's releasing to try up the ground they have lost to the Chinese phone manufacturer's
I have noticed many weird things with this foldable phone, like the case of the fold will peel if you used unsupported chargers? And if it heat so hard on the sun that it may cause some lag? And now rain can destroy it (ToT) I really liked it and I'm saving and maybe 2 months and I'll buy it but until now I'm seeing weird problems with it I need to investigate more
the flaking stuff hasnt really shown up. i think it was maybe a few people having it happen and then it blew up. The heat issue hasnt happened to me and i live in texas. again, heat also can overheat any phone and cause thermal throttling - though, i dont think its an issue. rain resistance has been great on this phone just as any phone out in the last 10 years lol. also, a general rule of thumb is dont have your electronics near water? i get the concerns, but honestly you cant just believe what gets reported and blown up by the media. this phone is great, really refined, and i love it - along with many others
@minusmartin if it is a cheap phone then yes these problems are understandable but over 1500$ and have weak resistance? If i bought it someday then I'll be really careful with it to be honest but what if i had bad luck that a weird problem happen to me then i just wasted money (ToT). I still want to buy it but i need to understand the real cause of these problems exactly
change the case and get a better one ? i'm not using a case with the fold5 and its almost 2yrs with it. no issue so far . some scratches but thats normal
@whiz16 It is the PHONE CASE ITSELF peel not the outer case and it is meant for unsupported chargers but most of us have them since samsung only give 1 charger.. it is easy to get broken or stretched
Correct. Just bought a fold 6 and loving it
I'm still loving my Fold6 so far :)
To me, one of the main problem of the fold is that it is still too fragile for me as I’m a little too reckless with my phones.
That's a fair point, they do need a bit more looking after than a traditional phone
That sounds like a you problem. Lol.

Have you broken one before?
Do better
I just got a Fold 6 and I'm loving it!
(I'm coming from the Galaxy Ultra.)
Love my Z FOLD 3, and now love my Z FOLD 6
Love my Z fold6
Let the dust settle before purchasing any new tech

@@amirhojaiji Thank you for your kind reply. 👍
It is true (and sad) the lack of easy access to those alternatives in the US!
Honestly though! I agree
I've heard Honor is trying to bring the V3 here, I deeply want to get my hands on it :)
@@amirhojaiji pretty late but are you going for the tri fold lol

Personally I haven't noticed lag, but I see your point
