As a left stick editor i agree it is difficult and weird, it works best for me only because i have it as my confirm and edit button and learned the timing after years

I use left stick and it doesn’t limit my movement you actually can still have movement using left stick it’s just harder to but I mastered using left stick to edit so it’s easy for me

I used left stick movement for a while, and my editing speed is pretty good, I also use my right stick for my switch mode, after I made that switch, my gameplay felt much smoother

I’d recommend if you don’t have paddles and are using PS4/5 to use the Touch Pad as you can reach it with your thumb/trigger finger and it has the lowest delay when pressing down because it’s literally a trackpad. You can also use it for claw too if your into that.

dawg wtf? if you’re playing claw on ps4 or 5 controller you should put and edit bind to the d pad, if you’re on xbox use left stick but only use right handed claw.
Sure single tiles take less time, but it drastically increases the possibility of you clicking edit on a cone or a floor rather than the wall causing you to mess up
Considering that he's right it's better to use the bottom dpad to edit by using a paddle and confirming with B/⭕. And if you want to emote still just emote with L stick. And if you want to cancel your edit just press down d pad again when in an edit.

Look in quad or triple or double edits I edit the floor 2 tiles for the side jump so it will be easy to get high ground without them knowing

Your movement & crosshair will be fine with either stick, I prefer L stick edit over right tho
Taking your fingers off the joysticks to edit will also restrict your movement though as you have to remove your finger off of it for a split second
