A simpler and easier way to do this is.
Change whatever your Switch Mode/Edit to Just Edit. Then use your Bind for Squad Comms to Switch Mode. Then go to edit controls and set edit as confirm

bruh the real secret is just practice your edits and find a good edit bind, i use ∆ to edit R2 to select and L2 to confirm, and i play claw so just practice, you cant do quadruple edits with that or any retake
