- WOW! This is my first time taking a look at one of these kits and I did not expect SO MANY STICKERS! Let's check out the SDBD RX-Zeromaru Shinkikessho.

Yea its like he said he didnt review much SD. Personallly i love building SD gundams they have so much details, all u need some paint markers to bring them out.SD gundam is more like a blank canvas waiting to be brought to life by its builder.

If you're wondering about the differences between this and the older version (besides the frame colour):
- original includes the shuriken shield; this includes 3 kunai shields
- original includes 'beam effect parts for the kunai; this effect parts are replaced by extra kunai to be mounted under the shields
- bird booster designed to be either separate or used in Real Mode; addition of an adapter part allows the bird booster to be mounted Full Armour-style in addition to being used separately or in Real Mode.
- this version includes all-new crystal effect parts for the shoulders and a crystallized crotch piece for the Real Mode that the original does not have.
- this version excludes the Beam Magnum's ammo clip part that also attaches to the bird booster.
And that's it. The moulds for the Zeromaru and bird booster are exactly the same. The articulation is exactly the same.
If you wanted a simple SD, any one from the SDCS line wouldve been great pick
@@KIO_moe The SDCS Phenex does have clear pieces for the psycho frame, I guess the Zeromaru didn't get that due to the cost of the transforming feature.
Other sdcs doesn't feature that much stickers
The beam rifle is based off of the early matchlock muskets that some samurai and ninja clans used( ninjas loved gunpowder weapons more than anything).

I mean it make sense because SD kits are easy to build
Bandai's making progress on the SD-to-Real-Type transformations. Even with the heavy sticker usage, the Zeromaru's transformation still looks better than that of the Star Winning Gundam.

I know SDs aren't your thing, but the SDCS RX-78-2 is one that would definitely impress, it's a gundarium tier SD for sure

I have the original rxzeromaru. Simply put spending time painting though only using gundam markers makes this kit a whole lot better.

hey mecha, if you want to have a 'baseline' SD kit to have a rating on, the grandaddy SDCS is a good silver tier.
Why did the music get so loud for a moment?
In my opinion this is on of the only sd gundams worth of existence.

honestly if a master grade version of this was released with green clear parts and barely any stickers that would be awesome
p.s. i understand that sd gundams are meant to be easy hg beginner builds but i think this would a freaking amazing build and i wouldn’t mind paying 30-40 dollars (usd) for mg ver of this
Sd is supposed to be nice and simple in concept but in reality it's a lot more complicated than the HG...

You are like me i guess, stickers Are MY STRONGEST STRENGTH
I consider stickers to be a nightmare also, waterslides are so much easier to use, but this would be easy to paint, if you are no good with a brush or using an air brusy/spray can mask around the edges of the green sections, paint with a metalic green, panel line in black, then maybe clear green on top.
I dislike the "cute" look of SDs but this has potential to look great in the HG mode so this may be my first SD.

honestly gundam build divers is truly an amazing series and when I saw this video I just had to click on it because I wanted to see if if can transform into its full sized gunpla
Review of ninja, ost of samurai. 1:43 OST : Samurai Edge. Flaws aside, this thing supposed to be masterpiece, but this is what happens when idea can't keep up with results.
I absolutely lost it at the initial sticker reaction. 😂 I feel that in my soul.
I've never been on SD kits. Just got the sinanju for candy finish test with brushes. But this might be an exception. Nice review :D

That was the most realistic reaction to a large sheet of stickers that I've ever seen.

I have the original Zeromaru, and ill say this.........this right here, this is what sticker hell looks like.
That said, if you rub the metalic red cross pattern stickers into the grooves in the plastic youre placing it over it looks really cool.

Yeeting them stickers right out of the box, as God intended. You, Prime92, Typev3 and ZakuAurelius inspired me to paint.

I just use the green stickers on this kit and the white ones for the Shirkin parts
I loved the original zeromaru, even with it's huge sticker sheet I think all the stickers are pretty good since they are mostly all just cover a flat surface and don't need to wrap around anything
Man that SD head as backpack is killing me.
I honestly suggest this as gold teir the rx zeromaru is a fun gunpla filled with inspiration and advance poses for nin to do mode along with its basic build of how it works it's a perfect advance beginner model kit
Instead of painting the psychoframes on my original red, I went for blue and purple for a Perfectability Mode. I think it looks pretty cool. Yes, it takes effort, but it's worth it for Ninja Waifu's gunpla.
I... don't think I'll use the stickers for this one either. I do wish they were clear parts, like with the BB Senshi FA Unicorn.
I used the stickers for the frame. Those aren't too bad.It's the rest of the colour separation that's bad... so I painted those parts.

I HIGHLY advise doing the stickers for the faux Psychoframe. It will look so much better.
This is a very cool sd despite the stickers, really love how the visor works
You know i keep hearing that res e 2 is pretty scary but that sticker sheet *shudder* that is true horror. Lovecraft himself would hide from that sheet

That's not a basic articulation for an SD though. If you happen to get your hands on old SD kits, the SDCS has the best articulation so far. So far, because I do hope bandai will someday develop a far more articulated SD line, and of course, lessen the stickers, too 😂

If you do the stickers, it takes another hour or two. But for me, it was worth it, because I like to buikd SD's

The sdcs zaku is good sd if you want, but just don't forget about the cs frame(sold separately)

What color paint should I use if I wanted to paint this?
You should check out the the 2012 SD Knight Gundam and the 2013 SD Hi-Nu Gundam. They are the complete opposite of the Zeromaru; great color accuracy which means very few sticker count. I have them both and I highly recommend them to anyone who wants SDs that look amazing just out of the box.
The transformation was super cool but just painting the SD Sazabi drove me crazy... that would kill me.

You should try review the SDCS lineup. They're mostly light in sticker department and looks great for an SD kit.

Im enjoying the build, lots of extra work to paint and detail it but that seems par for the course with sd kits.
What kind is of sd is it? SDCS,SDBB, or SDEX
I did the standard and yes tedious it might be to use the stickers it was way worth itespecially if you use a toothpick to imprint the details on the green stickers in the grooves
What you prefer? Fumina or a super big sheet of stickers

Ive seen a video of an sd gundam review that tranforms into a standard gundam but does not need this much steps. Ps if someone can tell me what type of model im talking bout

I really like this kit but my biggest problem is that metallic green is really fragile. The first time I combined the 3 shields into the big shield one of the the holes snapped
