i really love these type of videos after 5 years xD
Reaally nice Tom, seems to be cool!
It's a hard question to answer because it's different for all cases. I'd recommend buying a case that has LOTS of space behind the motherboard tray. Hook yourself up with a load of cable zip ties (some short, some long) and take your time when your building. Decent cable management takes patience. Also, invest in some extension cables for front panel audio and 8-pin CPU power. Even if you don't use them, they're VERY hardy.
My PC runs VERY cool, even over clocked maxed out. The case seems great for airflow, but it's a little small for my liking. It's slightly smaller than your 'average' mid tower case. My major con is the lack of space behind the motherboard tray. It has decent grommets for cables but they can't cope with very thick cables... It's a decent case with excellent features for the price, but space can be an issue.
nice you did the right thing and placed the MB on the box nicely done keep up the good work! =]
@Madt001 No it won't. The fan sucks air from the bottom of the case, through the heatsink, and out of the top where there'll be 2 140mm exhaust fans. You can't mount this cooler on an AM3 socket facing the back.
@xxbrandonshireyxx Yeah - didn't really want to drop something that took me a month and a half to save for. lol
Nice Gamecube! haha. Great video as well.
@SSLFan I think around £530 with all the deals and sales... It'll be about £600 without :)
Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro Rev 2... And the case is an NZXT Lexa S.
How is the perfomance of that CPU cooler. Do you think is god for a AMD FX 6100 3.3 GHz,cause I really need a good and a small cooler.
Nice hair colour by the way.
@TommmHD452 This cooler has thermal paste pre-applied :)
They're still on pretty much all motherboards sold :)
anti static bag is onley anti static on the inside, so no point in putting the mobo on top of it :)
why dont you spray paint the back plate black then you can have everything!
@Madt001 No worries at all man :)
Brilliant, thanks! I'm piecing together a budget rig for my sister; she's big into Minecraft and Alice: Madness Returns, and this case is very reasonably priced and looks absolutely awesome, so I've been considering it. Thanks for responding, man, I appreciate it!
Can you give your opinion on my budget pc im working on:
Z77A-G43 Mobo
i5-3570k CPU
GTX 550 Ti GPU (From my old computer)
4GB DDR3 1333Mhz RAM (From my old computer)
XFX 450W Core Edition PSU
1TB Seagate Barracuda HDD
Aerocool Strike X One Case
Hey, I'm planning on upgrading my current computer. I have a pretty good knowledge about computers, their parts and and what to do with them; Especially Radeon video cards and CPU's (last time I researched those was right before the next gen "i3, i5, i7" cores came out. I just want to be able to know exactly what I'm doing when it comes to putting it together. Any tippers on sites or something I can go to to better educate myself for building one? Also, a cool site: hardware-revolution"dot"com
I'm building a gaming pc with a intel core i7 processor , the evga gtx 560 ti graphics card and 2 x 4 GB of corsair ram what motherboard will I need (PLLLZZZ HELP !!!)
You sound British, but you use a American plug for power? I'm confused??
I think you put that cooler on the wrong way. The fan is pointing towards what will be the bottom of the motherboard and case. Is that right? Would have thought you'd have pointed it towards the back so it blows the heat out the rear exhaust fan.
Hey tom just wondering if you could help me with cable managment etc when i build my own pc im new to the whole "decent" cable managment but im familiar with all the parts etc?
LOL you don't even install the RAM in dual channel mode ! Noob ! You should have let one slot empty between the two RAM modules !
Thanks, mate! I love the look of that case! How well has it done in keeping your hardware cool, and would you recommend it?
What is that CPU cooler? I didn't catch the model number in the last video...
Also that'll blow heat onto the graphics card.
are you sure 4gb of ram is enough for a gaming pc? my computer has 4gb of ram and i was running minecraft and it said it ran out of memory!
im sorry but this cpu cooler is a really ugly one.. i know that it doesnt matter, but... its just aweful... ^^
Never Put your Motherboard on the anti-static bag, the inside may be anti-static - but the outside is super conductive of static!
@TheiTouchGuy1994 Yepp :)
@s0mthingsmells i have another question whats the diffence between amd phenom and amd athlon if there rated at the same speed?
@ItsMyNaturalColour So in other words, building your own PC is much cheaper than buying one with the same specs
dont place the motherboard on the anti static bag... only the outside is conductive.. gotta watch out
@xxbrandonshireyxx Sensible people tend to be careful with expensive equipment, you only get one chance.
'It's just so hard to get your fingers in there and do it right' - That's what she said.
@ItsMyNaturalColour Ahh right. Yeah I see now. I was looking at it in the wrong way. My bad hehe. :)
i dont like amd at all but i have an 8 core clocked to 5.0ghZ that is tha best proccesor evar!!
You should add 2 GB of ram. You could look into upgrading the GPU, but it is not necessary!
That's not why you don't place it on the anti static bag, it's because the bag is conductive!
@MasterNaruto1214 lol for my pc i just put a 4gb stick in every slot
Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD7
WHAAAAAAT, i didnt get an intelbag, wtf!!!!!!!11!!!!! same arctic freezer 64 pro, dafuck!
WOW, a month of saving when i reach 700 DOLLARS I would have saved for yearszz:)
Lucky man, now you will have both and 8-core mac and a quad core pc.
yes. why do you think they give them to you, just don't go overclocking though
do you think that the stock cooler of the i5 2500 is good enough ?
'It's really hard to get your fingers in there and do it right' XD
And what, you use your $250 processor as a tennis ball? Geez dude, go away.
I have a question. My arm is hairy would it cause a greater risk of static?
How much did you pay overall for all parts?
"It's just so hard to get your fingers in there and do it right"
They allow NKR on keyboards, so quite a lot of people use them.
Use an AMD processor. Same performance, around half the price.
The AM D-bag
They are still better than usb because of Full key rollover.
I am going to be building a gameing pc any tips please
@TheiTouchGuy1994 how do you test bench?
I Have That same heatsink.
Can you use that AMD as a game proseccor? Ö
10 years 🙂
@windows7323 Slower than Intel.
thanks for the tutorial
I LIKE YOUR VOICE :)
HOW MUCH DID IT ALL COST?..
@TheiTouchGuy1994 ok thanks
*facepalm* For dual channel memory, you put one stick in the blue and another in the white.
No... for dual channel they go in the SAME COLOUR slots..... white and white, blue and blue, etc.
@BeastlyBoltz Nice!
hey u should of gottin 2 more 4gb of ram so u have 16gb of ram , thats what my add runnin
This Guy Is So Funny! x)
WHY AMD????
@TheJob1997 yh
you sound like bear grills lol
