Surprisingly, SSD's were a lot more expensive when I ordered all of my parts for this system a few years back. It wasn't until about 6 months after this machine was built that I could afford one.
@daveygtheone Hey man :) Thanks for your comment. I've had various lengths over the years. It doesn't actually look as 'cool' as you might think when it's short. I haven't got the right kindah hair... Some people would say it'd look cool spiked up and stuff, but when my hair is short, I just look like a nerd. lol..
@ItsMyNaturalColour just a tip for u. i remember when in part1/2 u were installing the RAM and u were guessing which one is the first channel. you don't really HAVE to look at the manual for the motherboard because the motherboard itself has labels somewhere along the edges. not only does it show it for the RAM, it also shows it for the PCI express slots, front header pins, and the SATAs. i think it probably shows it for other places but these were the main ones. hope this helps in the future :)
The design on the optical drive bays would suggest they use some kind of plastic "key" type lock. Hard to explain! But look at the bit in the middle that has a kind of key hole shape to it. It'd use that to lock in, and it has 2 pins that go into the screw holes, and you twist a little switch type thing and it holds them in place. OK that's a crappy explanation but if you look closer at the design I'm sure you can get an idea of what I'm rambling on about lol.
i love ur build, just like mine didn't have a ton of money but got my moneys worth!! but watching ur vids make me wanna do better cable managing my cables are everywhere so thanks ha.
Lookin good, the fans look brill, big fan of Xigmatek stuff (have some Xilence Red Wing fans in the spare parts PC) :) If you're mad about silence like me, you might want to look into rubber anti-vibration fan mounts. Only a couple of quid for a set, I use them for all my fans and it completely isolates vibrations :) Love these videos :)
You should really cut your hair dude lol, not trying to hate, just saying. I had long hair for years, and I finally cut it short, looks 10X better. And with your hair color, you could get a really awesome look with short hair if you do it right
you look like a male version of my geography teacher, except for the hair color, all in all youve even got the same glasses XD No offense intended, just an observation i made while watching this, cool rig bro...
@OwzerSniping Hater can't even do his research properly. If I had a 1000w PSU then I'd only ever use a maximum of half of that power with this configuration, therefor I'd be wasting money on buying an overkill PSU. Still, it's not my job to educate.
