Thank you for this very clear and straightforward video! Now it's easier to make my choice as living in Europe. However it might be helpful for travelling.
Great video, I m doing some research into this brand Prior to buying and It is good to hear from someone who has been using these products for a while.
Got both shirt + tights at Ultra Warm, M, Black. It was sold at a discount around ~$24 Canadian. I'm enjoying it as my pajamas at night. Slept well and woke up, no sweat. I can also use it for when I'm going to trips up the mountains or colder areas. I'm in a country where 20C to 30C is the average. I may consider S next time if they're making another discount in the future for my collection.
Thanks for the video! It’s just hit winter in Melbourne and everyone wears these in extra warm but I was worried they wouldn’t be fitted enough as xxs is not available, so I’ll go give xs a go. This has been very helpful!
These thermal looks like macroman wonder series and jockey international series thermal. Heat tech technology and poly fill heat technology impact your bones through regular use and heat tech synthetic should be used in 12 degree or below temperature due to non resistance power like Marino wool and cotton thermal
it does not get that cold here (0C maybe once a year) but i feel the cold worse than average person. visiting -0 area in future, so this sounds like i should just jump straight into the extra warm 🤔 thanks for the video
Hi, I'm thinking of buying one extra warm Heatteach, but I'm worried about the 52% cotton composition since cotton absorbs a lot of moisture (from our sweat), which makes us feel colder, have you noticed this happens to you?
I am a size XXL and if you don't have any other warm layer like woolen inners or thermals Uniqlo ones are great until-5-10 without any other layer and with a layer piece it works well with -10-15 with some wind. I'm talking about their ultra warm heattech which they say is for -20 but if there's extreme wind these work great with layers. Hope this helps!
@@LivinginCanada nothing! They are completely fine 😅 (but I don’t live in a cold place so I only use them when I travel once a year 😂 and sometimes for the movie theater cause is really cold there lol)
I love your videos, your style and how you vlog. However, if someone is watching your videos from outside Canada, you portray the Toronto (to say Canada is misleading as it’s a huge country) as a super freezing, cold all the time city. Meanwhile, TO average January temp is +1, 0. high Celsius. That’s about as cold as it gets except for a bunch days where it’s super cold and some where it’s very mild, like majority of current winter. It’s rare to have a long stretch of days below -5 during the day in Toronto. 6 months of winter? Really?🤣 I do really love your channel but wish you didn’t portray SW Ontario as Antarctica 🥶 It’s misleading.
Thank you! You're right, Toronto only gets to minus 20° on a few days, while most other days hover around -5°-0° C. As this video focuses on matching clothing to temperatures, I didn't point that out. After 5 years in Toronto I've really gotten used to 0 degrees, and don't feel that cold. But from the perspective of people coming from the tropics where it's 35° C all year, like I did, it does feel super freezing and even 0° C is unbearable for many (Starting November-April). Thanks for your comment though! It's a good idea for another video where I can perhaps illustrate how the distribution of the temperature is.
@@LivinginCanada 100% agree it would be a huge difference and shock to someone moving here from the tropics. However, for the average North American winter (excluding southern states of course), Toronto is not super cold, even in the winter. There are a few snow storms and a few days, sometimes weeks were it dips below -10 and colder (daytime) but it’s fairly rare for this area of Canada/Ontario. It just varies hugely in Canada. While we enjoyed +15 Celsius last week, people were skating on frozen lakes in Quebec City! Only 9 or so driving hours away. I often feel like people from other places think it’s like this everywhere in Canada and most of the year too 😜. It is true though that during certain months (usually all of November and mid-March to mid April) we can experience all 4 seasons in the same week. It’s crazy how the weather fluctuates during those shoulder months. One minute you’re wearing a parka and the next we have a heatwave of +30. Haha Anyway. Love your video idea.
Just saw this! Yes that's true, I don't find it that cold anymore, I've acclimated I guess! UA-cam doesn't automatically show new replies to already replied comments, hence the very late reply. Thanks for contributing, I think this is very insightful for people coming here!

From a practical stand point, yes, they have really good products!
depending on where you are when heat tech goes on sale its a bargain, cant go wrong
I really needed this as I share you aversion for bulky clothing. Great info as usual and you didn't forget about us guys. 👍
Happy to hear that! Yes these tops are really indispensable in the Winter. They're so practical and versatile!
Stateside i buy Columbia omni heat. I saw ads when in UK for these. I wish they had thumb holes

Which are you thinking of getting? Are there any other brands you recommend for thermalwear?
Definitely want to try this brand for our upcoming Alaska cruise as I want something thin yet lightweight. Thank you for this!
You're welcome!
Very informative video❤
That's exactly what i needed to know. Thanks
Thanks! I'm glad to hear this was useful!
Very informative video. I’m going to buy Uniqlo heattech for my coming holiday. 😊
These are very good even the price.

Thanks a ton for this wonderful, explanatory video❤

I just bought long sleeve and leggings, but it not really working at my place (-20C)😭😭😭😭
Do you do the heattech leggings under your pants every day too?? My legs always feel cold!!

Hello, for a man, what do you recommend to wear on my legs? Should I wear jeans or fleece pants, etc? Thank you kindly
Very informative video.
What will happen if I put my heattech in the dryer?

That sounds right! You can even layer to tops, just remember to adjust the sizes so they fit nicely on top of each other and are not squished.
Here i am using extra warm at 15°c lol
Legit! haha
😂😂

I have the same question too.
Errr...may i ask what lipstick you're wearing? Love the colour!
I'm sorry, I don't remember! Possibly from Loreal but don't remember the shade :)
How tf do I dry it without using dryer, I live in the dorm in Toronto.
I live in Malaysia and will be visiting Canada soon, but when you say 10 degrees Celsius is warm. I lost my marbles.
Haha, rn mid November it's around 0ºC. Hope you'll enjoy it nevertheless!
Do you buy the bottoms as well? Do they fit well under jeans or what kind of pants. Thanks!

So do you remove this when you're inside?
does it lint?
Thanks 🙏
Do hand gloves of this heattech quality are available?
Yes, they are! They have ample options depending on the level of heattech.
How do you dry them after washing?
I usually hang them on a clothes hanger to dry out in the air (never put them in the dryer), they usually dry very fast!
I put mine in the dryer 😮😅 haha
Haha, and what happened to it?
