I’m so glad you came to my sissy’s restaurant ❤❤❤ their food is delicious and the staff is heartwarming, the owner and his daughters are humble and beautiful people.
Wow, so much delicious food! I tried Filipino food once, and it was alright, but that Peri Peri Chicken and especially the Ube Halo-halo looked amazing! Oh, and that cleaning dilemma sounded like a nightmare-I'm glad Ryen got everything sorted out! I’m still waiting for my calendar, but I have to be a bit more patient because there’s been an international shipping delay where I am. Hopefully, it’ll be here soon! Haha, Gatsby looks awesome with that Akatsuki scarf at the park! Yes, a little gym session! Looking lean, Ryen! That brownie looks so good! Whenever I get the urge to make brownies, I’ll definitely give Ghirardelli a try. It’s crazy how fast November flew by, feels like it was just November 1st not too long ago! We’re already heading into the holiday season! I’m really looking forward to seeing what Ryen and Gatsby get up to. The Christmas vlogs are always my favorite ones!
We are glad you tried our food, it means so much coz our whole family loves watching ur vlogs. We love beef pares but my own version of it. There are so much more varieties of filipino food you should try and the more you try it, all the more you will appreciate our food.
I’ve never had Filipino food but oh my gosh it all looked so good!!! I can only imagine the mess that you came home to, I’m sure it’s one of those things where it’s so absurd you just gotta laugh! Gatsby is always adorable but his sweet little face at the end of the video was extra precious! ❤
I have watched your vlogs ever since you got gatsby as a pup! Both of you helped with my anxiety. And as a Filipino you have made me more happier!! Love the Video! Thanks Ryen Loves for Gatsby!❤❤❤❤
Hi Ryen! Fellow Filipina here & former native Daly City resident (now living in Texas.) How I miss Kadok's. Love their food! That lechon kawali and garlic rice is bomb, but some of my favE Filipino foods are the BBQ chicken or pork sticks with rice and pancit on the side, lumpia of course, pork sinigang soup (a tamarind based sour soup with veggies, and pinakbet (a pork & stir fried veggie stew with shrimp paste.) So yummy!
Hello Ryen, I always feel intrigued by your amazing videos, I tried Filipino food in Singapore, it is really flavourful, sending you & Gatsby some positive vibes from Singapore. 😊
Mixed-Filipino viewer here (been watching u since I was in middle-school 2017!) and I'm glad you finally got to try Filipino cuisine! It's pretty good especially Halo-halo! 🇵🇭
I'm glad you're liking Filipino food. I hope you could try more of our cuisine. Top recommendations would be Kare-kare (a peanut based stew), Sinigang (sour soup with pork or fish), Adobo (soy sauce and vinegar braised pork or chicken), Bicol Express (a very spicy and coconuty dish), Denuguan (blood stew) and Bulalo (beef and bone stew).
I agree with you, Ryen - there are a lot of Filipinos in Hawaii, but growing up there, I don't recall eating much Filipino food myself. Not that I wouldn't have, but I don't recall many places serving it. Even now when I go back to Hawaii, I'd be hard pressed to think of a place that serves Filipino food. But as I mentioned in your live vlog a month? ago, I am going to Hawaii in December. I'll ask the hotel concierge for a recommendation. Actually, the Concierge was the one who recommended the place that sells Hawaiian wear and Hawaiian made food for pets, aka that's where I got Gatsby his aloha shirt. So I know they won't disappoint on a place to get good Filipino food.
I love how spunky Gatsby still is! The Filipino food looked awesome--I am jealous because I live in Iowa and not really much of that kind of food here. I love your vlog and it really brightens my day! Love you two so much!
Those brownies looked good, Ryen. And your neighbor clearly appreciated them. It's unfortunate that Gatsby and dogs can't eat chocolate, but it is what it is. BUT we humans enjoy them so very, very much.
Ngl i feel like you didnt really get a good variety of food. Mostly side dishes and breakfast meats. No pancit(noodles), no sinigang, no adobo, no dinuguan, and so many others. Hopefully you get a chance to try it again in the future.
I'm from the Philippines. I'm so happy you enjoyed our food. I hope you try HALO-HALO again and mix them before digging in. HALO-HALO is the Filipino word for "mix". Anyways, it's so great to see youa nd Gatsby always having a great time. The behind the scene is so cute. The result is sooooo cute and adorable.
Poor Gatsby with his tummy troubles & poor you with the mess. Glad you were able to get it clean. The Filipino food looked so good. I have a friend who's half Filipino & she made sinigang for me, oh it was amazing. I keep saying I'm going to try making pancit some day, it looks so good. I love pork rinds you get in a bag. I've had lumpia, & love that! Glad you were able to try so many things, & I hope it boosts their business. Hugs & love to you & Gatsby!
Hai im from Malaysia. I've been watch ur chanel for a long time. Your calender with gatsby and his toys is so beautiful and cute. I love it... Gatsby so cute and smart ❤❤❤❤❤
I'm half Filipino and my favorite foods are turon, lumpia shanghai, siopao, pancit palabok, mikflish, chicken adobo, casava cake. There's probably more but this was all I cold remember off the top of my head. I grew up on this stuff but sadly I don't have it as much anymore.
I'm half filipino too! My filipino mother never cooked filipino food. I know how to cook some really yummy adobo chicken or pork, pinakbit, tocino, lumpia, and pancit. I learned from other filipinos and local cookbooks.
Who's more surprised that Ryen's never had pork rinds before vs never having had Filipino food before (other than the odd appetizer type food at pot lucks)?
I think when you wer eating if someone wasn’t there watching you maybe you would’ve rated them a little different. As a long time viewer we can tell when you really enjoy the food your eating, and when you don’t you still try to be polite especially if somebody’s watching you while you’re eating their food. Thanks Ryan for you being nice no matter what.
Gatsby did the CHICKEN DANCE! Huh, you ask. What is it? Well, on a different vlog featuring Shiba inus, tha male dog is named Shiro. Long story short, he will shake his back leg, stretching it out, and holding it there for a second, then repeat the movement with the other leg, repeating several times. Gatsby did the exact same move after he "watered" the grass in the park. I know that in reality, dogs do that to "bury" their scent, but for whatever reason, the Shia inu vlogger called it "the chicken dance," and the name clearly stuck with me. It is CUTE!
I'm from Maine I think I mite of tried it but not Shure mostly we have here is Chinese. It's very rAre to have any other forain restraints here I wish there was little more well guess we have Mexican restraints but there not popular. So most Chinese still
EYY!! LETS GOOO PHILIPPINES MENTIONED!! 🇵🇭 🗣🗣🗣

Thanks!
A Filipino fan here! ❤ I hope you and Gatsby are doing well Ryen.

I'm a longtime Filipino viewer and I am so happy to see this! Best wishes to you and Gatsby (:
Yayyy!!!! I’m filipino, and I’m glad you’re trying it!!!
All looks great!!!
I got my calendar today! Adorable pictures! It is so good to see Gatsby running and having so much fun with you!❤❤
Nice! I enjoyed this vid! Still thinking about Gatsby in my prayers!
He's in my prayers as well 🙂
It's obvious that Ryen didn't like the Filipino spread. His expressions says it all 😂
You should have tried Adobo, Sinigang, Pork Sisig and Kare Kare
it doesn't look authentic. The tapa for one looked dry and tough. That's not how it is normally cooked in Batangas.
Sad, but agreed
The smile on Gatsby's face at the end of this video was food for my soul.
that food looks so good!!!
That all looks so good! I'm gonna have to find a Filipino place in my state.
Gatsbys smile at the end so beautiful he loves you so much! 🐶💙
I have watched your vlogs ever since you got gatsby as a pup! Both of you helped with my anxiety. And as a Filipino you have made me more happier!! Love the Video! Thanks Ryen Loves for Gatsby!❤❤❤❤
Love this episode! Love Filipino food! While I'm here. I should ask though. I feel like I haven't seen Shaun in an episode with you in a while.

Long time Filipino viewer here. So glad you tried our cuisine. Some would be an acquired taste...Love love Gatsby...
For a 2nd round of tasting, I recommend kare kare, sinigang, palabok, adobo, arroz caldo and pancit
thank you, Ryen!!!!
Hello Ryen, I always feel intrigued by your amazing videos, I tried Filipino food in Singapore, it is really flavourful, sending you & Gatsby some positive vibes from Singapore. 😊

Yes!!! Filipino here! I am living in Canada, though. I love that fish that you tried. It's called bangus or milkfish, Philippines' national fish. 😊
I love watching your videos. To me it's so entertaining to watch it keeps me from being bored
I love following along on your adventures!
Love this! "What makes it Shanghai?" I'm Filipino and even I want to know! Hehe
Love you Ryan and Gatsby ❤️ from 🇵🇭
Aw Gatsby! I love how he walks and he is always checking on you when he walks, I love it! he is such a happy corgi! We love you Gatsby!!❤❤❤❤❤❤

If you ever visit utah again you should try da kine grindz they're a local Hawaiian-Filipino restaurant
I recall you saying that Gatsby doesn't like being filmed from the rear, but he has the cutest tail nub wiggle that I've ever seen. SO CUTE! 👍👍
Gatsby fills my heart with so much of joy, I am a huge dog lover like you. 😊
This made me so happy to see foreigners tried filipino foods!
I'm from the Philippines. I'm so happy you enjoyed our food. I hope you try HALO-HALO again and mix them before digging in. HALO-HALO is the Filipino word for "mix". You’re such a good neighbor!

I’m jealous. I love Holo holo
Looks so yummy!!!
Tapa is my favorite Filipino dish that my mom would make growing up. Hers usually turned out nice and tender; not always like jerky.
Welcome home... a family should be together.
Awwe im glad you try Filipino foods. I hope you like it. Please try Jollibee next time. Greetings all the way from the Philippines 🇵🇭 ❤
Filipino from Germany here! ❤
Hello from the Philippines! Glad you liked the mami so much 😁

I’m half Filipino born and raised in Canada 🇨🇦 raised by my Filipino mom and aunt. My fav pinoy food is tocino ❤
I'm half filipino too! My filipino mother never cooked filipino food. I know how to cook some really yummy adobo chicken or pork, pinakbit, tocino, lumpia, and pancit. I learned from other filipinos and local cookbooks.

11:47 Gatsby's dance party
"The robot vacuum cleaner spread it all over the place...."
That was the first step in the robot takeover.
I love Filipino food. It’s delicious..❤
Hey Ryen, check out Toppings Tree in Santa Clara. Great Philippine Restaurant! Hows the fish?
Thanks for the ranking, Ryen, on the Filipino food. But I am surprised - no adobo? I thought that was quintessential Filipino food.
I’m Filipina, my favorite dish is sinigang.
I think your near my hs lol when you were at the Filipino restaurant and I’m Filipino 😊
