Doesn't the Fellow with the White shirt " Realize" that you can't get your Detector or metal objects within 10 feet of the other mam's Detectors etc ??????
Based on the video the gpx4500 boosted appeared to discriminate its signal at the initial depth a lot better than the Z7000 but as others have said, the operator just thought the sound was ground noise, whereas the 4500 operator recognised the noise variation a bit better. Is that due to machine setup or operator familiarity with their machine? I’m not experienced enough to know! I’m tossing up between the GPX 5000 or the GPZ 7000 & because I’d like to drag coil behind a quad bike on a sled, and you can’t yet buy larger sled coils for the GPZ7000 I’m leaning towards the GPX5000 at the moment.
Lol Very funny... Famous ethnic Aussie digger sayings "are you patient enough? Well we are, so bugger you! Just wait" , "Oh! Its gotta be out by now", "Stop a laughing its not funny, todays a Saturday, anything else there?" , Have a nice night! Go to buggery." , " Well theres a blimey deep hole there so...its a very very deep and ah we certainly had a fun digging it!".....Matty you didnt touch the pick. Hahahaaha
If you wanted a large coil for the 7000 you can make one and take the ic chip on a genuine coil and permanently solder it to the connector pins inside the detector, then resolder the connector.
i run the old gpx made in australia i tested it against the gpz 7000 on the maryborough test site i hit every target in enhance 12 and 9 the 7000 just barely made the targets i run 14 inch elite coil. not modded if it was modded it surly would get a little better signal response.these new type coils are bringing home the bacon.
Hello I need to find a place that has gold lol went out today and dug about ten holes with great sound found tiny scrap of metal two feed deep in crevis areas@@peterwoodland446
If you read the comments you'll find Jean AArouet is fairly messed up!! Enjoy yourselves lads (MATT,GINO) and please don't take ''pillocks'' seriously ;-) keep on keeping on!! nice find too!
Does anyone know how to use a 7000 properly? Remember when it first came out that it would not ground balance and Minelab started to supply an iron powdered toroid that you had to throw on the ground to get the ground balance to work. Then they all needed a software reconfig to make the detector stable. A very interesting set of circumstances, give me an older GPX any day.
I agree but by saying its a 7000 vs a 4500 thing is a little misleading when the skill levels of the operators are miles apart. Having owned a 7000 since they came out (and now owning a 4500) I do understand what a 7000 can do. That being said I am impressed with the 4500. Great value for money.
Would have been a good video if the old guy using the 4500 didn't stick his coil in the hole 20 times between digging it out for no reason. So frustrating seeing people recovering things so slow. Nice nug tho
Two old farts and two pick shovels, if I were there with you guys. We would be three old farts and three pick shovels. I happen to have the GPZ 7000 but I am unsure if I should get the 19 coil for it. I heard that it really doesn't help that much, so I am watching more videos on it before I make the commitment to buy it.
Read title..watch vid pull your own weight and do just 3 seconds of research and kablam solved your own question. Minelab puts the price in the name usually gpz 7000 is around 7000 bucks
Yeah, for sure getting noise, kill the detector interference when your filming only when you have a target! Geezers hurt my ears, can’t tell what your saying and screwing around with the camera with the St Vidas shaking couldn’t get a focus on your gold nugget either, really bad, can’t believe you even found a target! You lucky SOB’s!

Fantastic guys ! good times. Good partnership, cheers

So what's best ? The 4500 or the 7000 ?
my GPZ 7000 just came in mail. So happy
david GPZ7000 is very good on very mineralized ground, good on small gold.

you should get a bobcat and take some ground off the surface till you start getting targets again they're there they are just deeper.
the weight of the seven caused poor crossover response on the nugget.
Guy with orange harness needs to learn how to GB off the target.lol. Good hunting.
Those diggers with long handles 50 dollars at Sapphire
Sorry but the guy using the 7000 doesnt have it set up correctly. Either that or he hasnt ground balanced correctly.

No, the operator had poor handling skills.
Most flawed detector test in history
The reason I use a modded GPX and not the GPZ..

It's a cool video indeed .... Ha ha..... You guys are funny ..... The Odd Couple .......
Not nice calling them "odd" just because they're gay.
Can I contact u guys to go detecting?
There are rules your coil causes interference along with your digger, I’m gone.
how much its depth

marcus smart GPZ7000 new in Oz $9.5k + $1.5k for the larger coil, so about $11k all up!
Matty needs to turn the sounder OF
I watch these vids and no weigh in ???? whats the point
What, is it a fishing competition?
