- I should of used a 12" Mono coil to get the same detection as the GPX-6000 but it was late in the day. That compression in the dynamic range that the GPX-6000 could be a deficiency in the ADC via using Delta Sigma adc, it maybe something else all together, as i say, i did not design it and who knows what goes on in the FPGA. It still does the job very well and it would be interesting to do testing on some hotter ground.

That detector sounds like that Australian native instrument didgeridoo.
Good job, Woody. What about the gpz7000. Is there progress in the upgrade?
Today i will get it done.
Went out today my phone was 50 feet away when it went over to 4g my 4500 went nuts turned the phone off the noise went away, also there's new Chinese over the horizon raiders being built heard them on 80m band 3.6mhz, found 1.1 grams targets .4 @6 inches .5@ 5 inches .2 @ 4 inches 14 INCH elite coil enhance brought back the 2300 no more targets found brought the 6000 back no more targets found ,all targets stood out well ,will take the joey coil back on the 4500 tomorrow for a try.
Good to know Alan,,radars..,
Yay
greetings, sir, I beg for 4500 to try it in a location with high minerals or lots of hot stones, can it still work well,🙏
It depends on how hot the ground is.
Hi just want to get your expertise I was on VLF before but the ground in the Philippine is so mineralised that it make it crazy I was looking to get a gpx 6000 or a gpz 7000 what do you recommend ill be waiting for your reply thanks
I have detected in Mindanao not far from Cagayan de Oro and that was with a borrowed Whites 5000, the ground is very noisy and the GPZ 7000 would be the best choice.
@@DetectorMods thanks is there any defence between a older model gpz and a newer model I was thinking of buying a used one gpz because it's too expensive
The good thing is you have tried to detect there you know the ground that we have there did you find any gold while your there?
Thanks Woody
