Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on UA-cam, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on UA-cam. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on UA-cam, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.
If you enjoy this video and my reactions make sure you subscribe to the channel, like the video and comment down below which video you would like to see me react to next.
This is a reaction video used to educate and give my feedback on the song and artists.

This is one of the deep cuts that no one ever plays. But of course, Big Soul Shawn can't be put in a box - he's playing, jammin', and preaching the truth with his commentary. I love how
they slipped that verse from The Beatle's "I Am The Walrus" in there.
Such a great song off their greatest album.
Shawn, I'm impressed! This is a deep track from their first album with great guitar and NASTY horns.......well done!
You hit the perfect album of early Chicago! This debut album was chock full of bangers! Terry Kath was a beast. Please do more of this album, Introduction, Poem 58 , hell, any track!
Even free form guitar?🙃😅
@@rubroken ummmmm🤐
Yes Yes I swear I heard Eruption on this track!!
Eek! Of all the many songs you could have done off this album, you did this one...my favorite ❤ THANK YOU!
Shook the dorm room windows of many a dorm room in the 70s. Terry Kath is a bad man.
Robert Lamb was the lead singer on this besides his great hammond b3 organ playing.
Omg...I'm sitting here howling my head off. Haven't heard this in so long. Saw Chicago at college and they played every track from this album. Wow...great start to my afternoon, like always. Thanks Shawn. Blessings all.
Played this cover in our band in High School in 1974. Tons of memories !! R.I.P. Bob Manno
I've talked before about my brouther being in a band well he still is, but throuth the years since he was 14 now he's 72 . He's been in different bands throughout different time periods. But in the late 60's & early 70's when Chicago was VERY popular, the band he was in (which was one of the best cover bands in the Chicago area ) they had horns in the band . Anyway they played a lot of Chicago and Blood Sweat & Tears. This brings back those memories. Thanks. I also have this LP as well as other Chicago LP's. Love them.
Wow, great song💜
Before they went to mush, they were one of the coolest freakin' bands on the planet.
I love early Chicago - my daughter loves the mush. 😂
@@TerryJ950, so does my wife -- and millions of other people -- but I'm with you!
Great stuff man, CTA's debut album is killer. They also quoted The Beatles' I Am A Walrus on this one, cheers.
Such a great song and amazing album!
The hidden gem on this lp for sure.
An excellent choice from a great and unique debut album. Some of the songs are smooth, even mellow, and others are raw wild rock and roll.
I may be one of your viewers that requested this tune awhile ago. Glad you gave it a listen.👍👍👏
My first concert I attended in 1975, 10th grade. I think my buddy and I were the youngest in the crowd.
More Chicago a lot more !
Wow…… pulling out the classic Chicago deep track 🎸❤️🔥
…….like that Beatles line ❤️
“Amazing” your the 1st reactor that I’ve seen to do the track 🙏🏻
Great pick!! This along with the first cut on the album, “Introduction”, in my opinion are the best. Two songs the radio never, or hardly played except for maybe college stations.
Most people can't handle Liberation off of this album. Terry Kath's guitar is so great it's allmost painfull.
every rock band, musicians that i know of wanted to be musicians after seeing the beatles great influencers !
Found this album payed 2 bucks for it in Jacksonville Man the gems on this album OMG !!
Poem 58 is allso a great tune.
Nine minutes of PURE FUNK led by Terry Kath on guitar. I could imagine it was what Jimi Hendrix heard them playing at the Whiskey when Jimi told Chicago that their guitar player was better than Jimi himself.
Unngg...that was dat FOWNK!!!!!!
This is indeed from their debut DOUBLE-LP when they were known as "The Chicago Transit Authority", Starting with their next album the group name was shortened to Chicago.
The next track on the album is "I'm A Man", their cover of the Spencer Davis Group's song. IMNSHO, the Chicago version is light years better than the original! The album closes with a 14 minute jam, "Liberation".
Early Chicago was the best then they went pop
You'd be hard pressed to find two better back to back albums than Chicago I and II.
