    That is awesome this can also be used as a cleansing conditioner. Never used that before. Making a batch this afternoon since I have all the ingredients. I'm going to wash my hair and my face!
    Thanks Marie and I will let you know how it turns out😉

    Hi Marie, I enjoy your channel and website and it is always my first go-to for ideas and answers in my formulating activities. I made this recipe (I only exchanged the oat protein with hydr. wheat protein) and I love it. I have, however, a problem which I hope you can help me with. After a few days, the product divides into 2 parts - a small, clear liquid at the bottom and then the rest, thicker part on top. I do not mind it myself, but I want to sell this product to my customers and they would not like it. Do you maybe have a sollution? Can i add another emulsifier?

    When I use store-bought soaps lotions etc on my body I have all kinds of skin issues and allergies I even ended up in the emergency room. I make old fashion lye soap the PH is 7 I can use my soap from head to toe without any problems I no longer buy shampoo and I don't have to apply lotion after my shower I no longer have skin issues. How why and who decided what the PH level for skin and hair is or should be? Maybe I am just odd because my skin thrives on neutral PH products. If you can answer my question I would appreciate it so much. I enjoy watching your channel.

      I recommend checking out this blog post (simpleskincarescience.com/ph-acid-mantle/) + its many sources for information on "who and how" :) There have been a lot of studies, so it's not a simple answer. Happy reading!

    Hi! Thanks for sharing this great video! I have a question, as I am new to formulating! How can I incorporate castile soap in a face wash recipe? Or do you a recipe that would work well with Castile soap? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!☺✨🌼

    Would adding a bit more coco betaine to the formula increase the foaming boost of the cleanser?

    I love to oil cleanse or balm cleanse, I prefer the formulations that have fats and emulsifiers and not necessarily surfactants. That said I would love it if you d formulate some oil or balm hair and scalp cleanser😍😍

    Hello there. I want to make this formula. I have BTMS 50. I can't find BTMS 25. Can i do it with btms 50?
    I dont know English. I'm translating from Translate. If you direct me to the page, I cannot understand the speech sound. Thank you. How much should I add from btms 50? 🤗

    I have tried making this twice today and never got a creamy thick consistancy. I tried 3 different scales thinking my scale was off etc but still runny. I followed formula exactly
    What could be causing this>

    • @HumblebeeAndMe
      @HumblebeeAndMe  Рік тому

      Hi!
      The first thing I always ask about is substitutions: did you make any? Even ones I've suggested? Sounds like no from what you've said, but I always ask :) E.g. BTMS-50 instead of 25 would make for a thinner product. Other things that could impact viscosity would be if your Cocamidopropyl Betaine was more concentrated than mine, or if you used a preservative containing phenoxyethanol.
      Waiting can help with the final viscosity-you may find it is thicker in a day or two.

    • @HumblebeeAndMe
      @HumblebeeAndMe  3 роки тому +1

      I usually don't add ingredients to creams to reduce greasiness-it's usually a formulation consideration from the ground up. I think you'll find this video helpful: ua-cam.com/video/13MzvKMbqiY/v-deo.html. Happy making!

    Will this small quantity of surfacant helps in cleansing .Usually we use more quantity of surfacants in face washes.

    Hi Marie, I was wondering if I can make a basic cleansing Oil with only Baby oil (mineral oil, I have fungal acne and seborrheic dermatitis) and emulsifying was NF at 15% (I can't find Cromollient SCE where I live)? Or do I need to add Polysorbate 80 as well? Also can I add Cetyl Alcohol to turn it into a cleansing balm?
