This game reminds me of the episode of Love, Death, and Robots
yeah episode 4 suits when i was watching it i thought it would make a cool co-op farming/surv game and here it is so excited
Can't wait for Lightyear Frontier to explode in popularity after they release a gritty combat focused DLC campaign based off the LD&R episode

This kinda reminds me of a short I watched a while back, where farmers used mechs to defend their farms from invading monsters, only at the end to find out that they were in domes keeping said monsters out, and that the monsters were coming in through breaches in the domes.
I remember seeing that. I specifically remembering the ending showing how humans were invading the alien's planet, subverting how we automatically saw the mech pilots as the good guys
@@redman7775 I don't think that the farmer's were necessarily the bad guys. We never got context on what the actual situation was, all we knew was that the aliens were aggressive, carnivorous, and like animals. We also don't know the situation that led to the farmer's being there in the first place. For all we know, they were there because Earth had become inhospitable or was no longer able to support agriculture. There could also be the situation that the alien's arrived after the domes were built, or it could be Earth itself, we just don't know.
Love, Death and Robots is where you saw it. Suits is the name of the episode.

Definitely getting this. I wonder just how many mech parts for customizing/optimizing there is going to be? Maybe they'll throw in some special unlockables for pop culture references? Maybe matching 'set' bonuses? Or will it all be mix-n-match cosmetics?

You can only find the red crystals after you fully cleanse that area with all the goo. Sleep then the next day it’ll play a cutscene that shows the red crystals can now be found.
as someone who has not yet played, it looks pretty, and mech farmer is definitely an interesting game concept.

I just got this game few hours ago, had to watch your video because I was lost in all the demands game threw at me. It got dark so fast, and it kept telling me get a place to sleep and so on.

Also when it starts to get dark press F to turn on your flashlight both in mech and on foot. And when gathering while on foot if you press the opposite mouse button as you’re ho,dong materials you’ll launch it into your mech.

Hey Z while holding items with pick axe if you look at you mech and left click it will shoot items into the mech
2:01, Spoiler, there are actually some portions of the map that are Not Accessable in your mech, and require you to get out and Walk.

Game looks beautiful, but without some sort of survival elements, I feel like I'd get bored pretty fast.
