Gondor actually gave the tower of orthanc to Saruman as a gift. Rohan are actually northmen from the vale of anduin who aided Gondor in a fight. The gondorians gave the region Rohan to the northmen as a act of friendship. Since then Rohan and Gondor are allies. ( my english is terrible I am sorry:) so Gondor are the old owners of orthanc.

I believe the reason why Harad went to join Khand is because the walls near their starting area can't actually be knocked down (I think only the walls that the defenders can actually walk up on can be attacked). Presumably they'll fix that sometime in the future.

I really love the lord of the rings. One thing that disappointed me about the movie is that I’d love to see a fight between Gondorian soldiers and Saruman's Uruk-Hai
Me running up the stairs to defend the wall from invaders "damn why cant they just put escalators in." Lol
There should be ents,they took it in the war for the one ring but this is after the war and whatever’s left of the orcs are coming to take it back and free Saruman now that Sauron is dead.

I have played a lot of third age recently and there is one thing I find annoying. I keep playing as rohan since they are my favorite. I take Isengard and then all evil factions come together and take edoras and all eastern fiefs.

Oh well, but this is reforged Mod and I think you're referring to campaign mode in Third Age? if you are, Reforged mainly focuses if not totally are dedicated to multiplayer mode only. So play Reforged if you want, its really fun :)

where is total war the patriot gameplay?
Horse wont charge onto pikes,watched this cool documentary with this wisdom. The horses are smart enough to not charge into a wall of pointy things. Same as elephants, like during Zama and Waterloo with Neys charge against the squares among others I'm sure.
they can be trained and there are plenty of examples of them doing precisely so, it just didn't happen often because A. it's difficult to train the horses to do so and B. WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO?
leon von strab you can't train a horse to kill itself. Unless you blind it and then it won't be very effective except in the charge. I said they wouldn't charge onto pikes, I didn't say anything about a shield wall.
I bet you you can train horses to charge pikewalls, I heared so from multiple sources and used a quick google seach. If you have a source stating otherwise please do so I would be very interested in it.

In addition I'm sure it also depends on the density of the formation. But a well drilled unit of spear halberd or Pike are impervious from frontal charges of cavalry.
