Another thing you can try with the shadow is to convert the shadow to a smart object and then apply a gradient mask to the blur. This is so that you can maintain the sharpness of the shadow when it is closer to the base of the model and more blurry as it gets farther away.
Thanks for the rendering and composition tips, they will help me a lot !! I'd like to add something "non-destructive" that I usually use in Photoshop, which are the masks. This way you can delete parts you do not want, and your layer will remain intact. ;)

Good to know these will help you out! :)
Mega helpful. I just reached this stage in my model, and the book can only explain so much.
i know I'm kinda randomly asking but do anyone know of a good place to watch new series online ?
@Vivaan Aidan i use Flixzone. You can find it on google =)
@Charlie Alec Yea, I have been using Flixzone for years myself :D
@Charlie Alec thank you, I went there and it seems to work =) Appreciate it!!
@Vivaan Aidan no problem xD
Nice tutorial, I think it would be much easier to use masks instead of magic selection tool though.

Nice model! Just curious...why didn't you just use the Photoshop CC Render Plugin? and get render passes from there?
Does the zbrush to photoshop plugin only work with 4R7 and up? nice looking model and render btw
