It's so funny that you put out a new video about Canterbury because lots of people have been telling us we have to visit there, so I look it up, and here comes your video from just a couple days ago! The Abbey ruins are really neat. I guess we'll have to add this to the list of places to visit next time. Maybe you can show us around. 😀
You're right about it being a shame Canterbury castle has been left to rot :( Would make such a nice place to visit or even an occasional music venue if they did it up right!

Did you notice along the Abbey wall, the post box built in that you pointed out, had the royal cipher of king George GR, my inner geek noticed it as we’re looking out for the older ones esp on my London home trip at Xmas, 😊

Christchurch university next to abbey I worked for them for three months in 1993 I did jury service at the old court building that is now part of university I sat on a rape case as juror for a week back then abbey ruins were freely open to one and all

Yes we’ve seen that before and seen a few others on our travels….. not 100% sure but fairly certain there is one in Windsor!

We are doing Disney the last week of our trip 18th - 23rd September. We will have just missed them. We do have coffee ice cream here it’s delicious 😋
