@Blisblez994 if it was any other kid it would be the same. Regular kids from normal families need to face harsh criticism every day. Why not North? Since they display her so publicly? All of them need to humble a bit
Even if she was who they wanted the whole time, to please only the kids mother, she still robbed that spot from another child with actual talent & dedication.
Does no one remember on KUWTK, Kim wanted Kendall to get into modeling & said in those interviews that she was hitting up her designer/ model friends to get Kendall started on modeling classes. Also, in that same episode, Kendall was being such a brat & not taking it seriously by walking funny. Like both Kim & the model scout were getting on to kendall about taking it seriously 😂 I still remember that episode. Lol
The performance was terrible. The costume was borderline offensive. The only kids I feel bad for are the real talents who spent years working on their skill. And Kendall is absolutely a nepo baby. Just stop
@@user-sw2wv1zx1t why? Because I said I can't stand spoilt children? Rich coming from people who send child-free wedding invitations, hate children in planes, and have the 'child-free' term in general. I don't like condoning bad behaviour just because it's a child. That gives no excuse. She knows how to speak, how to eat, how to dress, how to use social media. She should be able to know how to behave and she mocks people, she is an attention seeker, she has no respect towards her parent and elders. I don't like that and I don't care that she is a child. She is a brat!
Kim has been taking L's with several public failures, like her PR relationship with Odell, the Met Gala mishap, and getting booed at Tom Brady's roast. To deal with all this humiliation, it seems she's involving North, who puts Kim in her place. Exposing her daughter to public embarrassment looks like she's trying to shift the focus away from her flop era.
My friend who bought the tickets a month or two prior had told me they werent told North would be there until a week before the show. So i call bullshit on her being the role the entire time.
With the song “Talking” , North has been able to be herself and express her creativity with Kanye. With Kim, its different; she didn’t even practice her audition or has any experience with plays or musicals.
@@cocomami91You are right, I love talking video with Kanye. Kanye had said he would never allow his kids on Disney. Kim exposed that child, she had been doing it for years on Tiktok. Disney used her to sell tickets. I love North, she is creative, artistic and funny. Her mom failed her. It doesn't look like Kanye was involved in this at all. I trust him, he would have changed the entire production or prepare his daughter for it. I think Kim didn't allow him to interfere. He was only there to support his kid.
Yes, Kim bought North a part in a play, this won't be the last time this will happen and ppl are losing their dang minds... All the Kardashian's have it on easy street and there kids will too....
I saw a TikTok and a mom was saying her child was in the top 3 to be chosen for the role. The kid was experienced in broadway and had been singing for a while, but was beat by North for casting. I definitely believe they’re trying to clean up the PR nightmare by saying North was already casted and “she didn’t take a talented child’s place”.
The kids are innocent. It’s not their fault they were born into the families they were. HOWEVER!! No one can tell me they wouldn’t do the same thing if they had the opportunity. 🥴
Girl you’re wrong. Some parents have come out to speak up about their kids auditioning for this role and how they found out when there was 5 kids left that north west was going to audition and eventually got selected.
Even if north actually wanted to do it , she needs to train like everyone else . Paying someone to put your child in a show without any training is a slap in the face to the actual kids that trained for that part . They are setting north up for failure .
The Kardashians are so stupid. If they really wanted to protect their children they should have kept them out of the spotlight. You can’t get mad at the public for being honest. If they can’t handle the heat then take a damn seat. They need to take better care of their children
I think people wouldn't be so quick to downplay or dismiss a nepo-baby's skills or talent if they or their parents didn't dismiss or downplay their connections and privileges. I give props to people who are "yes, my parents have connections and we live comfortably but I still needed to put in my own work to get where I am now" or something like that. I despise the rich folks who try to get commoners to pity them like, I've been poor and depressed, and would rather be rich and depressed lol
YES! there is nothing inherently wrong in being a nepobaby as we obviously cannot choose the family we are born into but my problem with nepobabies start when they aren't respectful to their crafts or whatever they choose to do. If you are given opportunities and connections that regular people are not provided with everyday, then at least be grateful and work hard to show people that you deserve the space you occupy.
I saw a video from a mom whose child auditioned for this role and made it to the final 4 children, so I highly doubt that they didn’t have anyone else in mind for this role. This mom said they were sitting in a waiting room and she saw Kim and North walk in and immediately knew that their child wasn’t going to be getting the role, despite them having been in 4 broadway shows previously.
them saying she didnt take the role doesnt mean she didnt take it. if they hadnt had her in mind already because she was famous a talented child who deserved the role may have had a shot at it. no matter what way you swing it she robbed someone.
The proble. Is the part went to North. There was a show a kid could have put on their resume. THAT IS THE PROBLEM. NOT THAT SHE DIDN'T HAVE TO AUDITION. IT'S THE FACT SHE IS THERE AT ALL WITH NO SINGING TALENT.
It’s so sad that the generation worries more about nepotism than a child’s mental health. The things being said and TikTok’s being made about her are shameful and disgusting.
To be fair - that's part of the gig. Shows like this get talked about nd criticized all the time. Children in the industry get talked about nd criticized. If they wanted to avoid all that they should have bought her a spot in a school play nd not a freakin Broadway show with professional performers (especially so unprepared). I do sympathize, but I don't expect anyone to act like the idea nd performance weren't bad.
Kim is weird for letting/forcing North into the role. Even if North really wanted to do it, Kim knew damn well that North’s voice is horrible and she was gonna embarrass herself in front of the whole world. She should’ve let North audition privately, and told the production team, “I wanna let her experience this and be outgoing, but clearly a *deserving* kid should be cast. Just let her try and learn from this.” Then Kim could’ve 1) saved North from public shame, 2) not screw over another person for the role
There is a lady on tik Tok almost in tears saying her child was in the top three for the role and then Kim and north came in and they immediately got the part It should still be up on TikTok
Kim should know better than to pay to put her kid in situations where she'll be publicly ridiculed shes not good ,and that's ok. Foster her other talents instead.
Yeah, I had a feeling they were gonna push her to sing and she can’t sing. This is where people get angry at nepo babies regardless of age. If you have talent no one is gonna say anything tbh but if you don’t then uff
Nepotism is the WORSt! I am not in the entertainment industry but it is everywhere!!!! I lost an opportunity because someone’s cousin got the job who has no experience. It is everywhere and it is so gross
I feel bad for those who auditioned and didn't get it, but as a lover of broadway I would've been PISSED if the ticket I paid for got me that. They brought in some of the OG cast for this occasion, it was supposed to be a special performance.
as a nepo baby myself...it goes over a lot better with people when you admit "yes I've had a lot of privilege and opportunity that most people don't and I'm grateful for the life i've had. I work hard to be a good person, never take away from other people, work hard in my own lane, and try to be continually mindful of my privilege" for kendell jenner, you can work your ass off and still admit that you had better opportunities than other talented people. the two don't (necessarily) negate one another
@@margeryojije7862 not in the google def sense of job opportunities via family connections. but was adopted into a wealthy family when I was 12 and have had a privileged life that has undoubtedly allowed me a less resisted life. people can't help whether or not there family has money but they can absolutely work on being self aware and working to not be a part of the problem
This reminds me of the Marilyn Monroe dress all over again. "Never to be worn by anyone else" Kim did it anyways. Throw enough money and publicity at something and you can get whatever you want.
You can only make it in the entertainment industry if you have the right bloodline. That's why it's so tough for some people. Everyone in Hollywood is related. Presidents, royalty, astronauts, musicians, etc. We are all related.
I remember a lot of people were complaining about Blue Ivy dancing with her mother bc there may have been other child dancers more capable. The difference between Blue Ivy and North is that Blue was dancing to a song that was about her and was with her mother. There’s no kid that could dance to Blue Ivy’s song except for her. With North, any child could’ve played that role. There are plenty of talented child performers who could’ve played Simba. You could even bring up Blue Ivy playing Kiara in the Lion King movie that’s coming up. They more than likely gave her the role bc her mom is playing Nala, but again, she’s doing it alongside her mom who definitely would’ve prepared her. Beyoncé had spoke about Blue seeing the criticism about her dancing and using it to work harder. I can’t see her letting her daughter do the role and not work hard to do well.
There was definitely a parent on TIKTOK that said she was at all of the rounds of auditions for the gig and at the final round they heard North West was “auditioning “
There was a women on tik tok who explained the auditions for the Hollywood bowl. She talked about how her daughter had to pass multiple auditions before the final audition. When it came down to final auditions her daughter made it with 3 other people and she states how Kim walked in with her daughter, pulled strings to even get to the final audition, then the role was giving to North… her mother definitely pulled strings, it’s sad that they just lie about it instead of admitting it, we’d respect them sm more if they admitted it. Like babe we get it ur rich
I've heard the Kardashians often claim that they've worked hard for what they have. They have no concept of what "working hard" even really means. Their concept is skewed based on what they've experienced. In the real world they wouldn't have made it, given how much work they actually put in. So, hearing them exclaim that they've worked hard makes me laugh. I think Kris is the one who's actually worked in that family.
I don't want North to get hate, she's a kid...but i don't think its bad if she sees people take offense to her being there either. She's nine, that's around the age she should already know what's fair and what isn't. She needs to see that it was (in a basic understanding) not fair she got to do this. I don't qant her to have to see hate campaigns against her online, but if she understands people were not happy and displeased with the fact she got to do this just because her family, it might be the only reality check she'll get
I have no hate towards nepo babies unless they deny being a nepo baby. How about instead of denying the advantage you were given, express your GRATITUDE that you were given the step up the rest of us wish we could have!
She could have been lying, but I did see a popular video of a mom saying her daughter auditioned for the role as well. And she said they saw north come in for the audition. If they had north in mind from the get go that’s kind of a different story but she definitely did t even seem like she rehearsed at all.
This is how I view it. Nobody is entitled to the role talented or not. The production company can give the role to anyone they please… bought or not. It’s not their job to give opportunities or further anyone’s career if they don’t want to. It’s a “dog eat dog world”
No way Kendall is actually denying being a nepo baby…. She’s quite literally THE FACE of nepotism. She can’t walk a runway like those who’ve worked their butts off for many years to be there, nor will she ever get to their level. They don’t know what hard work is.
I was a receptionist but I got the job cause of my aunt and never hid that fact to anybody, I did have to work hard to prove I earned the job but it just gave me drive and make sure to respect the people around me
Coverup is always worse than the crime. Do we know they get offered roles they don’t deserve because of connections? Yes. Treating people as idiots and gas lighting us only makes the hate worse. People today are tired of having global leaders and celebrities pissing on their boots and telling them it’s raining. They have all the money in the world to get the voice coaches and the dance instructors but it seems that they think their family doesn’t need skill or talent. Unfortunately, that limits what you get to do without people demanding refunds on tickets for what was supposed to be a professional performance and not a school talent show.
stop with this. people obsessed with complaining about nepotism are the people wasting their time raging online rather than going out and excelling at a skill or a craft that they commit to. Stop.
There's really no argument that can be made that North's role wasn't bought, taking this amazing opportunity from a child much more deserving after hearing north sing. If she could at least sing semi-decently it wouldn't feel as annoying.

That’s just Kim. Because Kourtney doesn’t care about fame and she’s always been like that. Kourtney’s kids don’t care about fame either. Khloe protects her kids from all this and rob & his daughter are very lowkey
This family is incredibly tacky.
The Kartrashians
The Kartrashians
The Kartrashians
Look how often the dancers had to put their hands on North , trying to redirect her... probably wouldn't have to happen if she actually auditioned.....yknow... like everyone else?
Good job kimmy feeding your kid to the wolves
I would think rehearsal would have been a thing…..
I truly hope the producers/writers and casting crew of that Lion King show get what’s coming to them!
I hope people refuse to try out/go to them bc of this. They don’t choose talent, they chose money and are sell outs!!
I feel so bad for those kids that didn’t get the spot and I feel awful this was caught on camera and North will forever have to relive this I’d be mortified.
Exactly I have nothing against people who are related to well-known people because there's some good eggs who actually trained and put an effort and want to be there but opportunity should be earned
She looked bored she didn’t care to ever LEARN how to leave the stage it’s embarrassing
Ummm….. she’s a child, it’s her first show and all eyes are on her. I’ve been to broadway shows especially during holiday time where some of the children with all eyes on them sometimes gets a little overwhelmed or messes ip
@@alexanderbayareathe whole point is she shouldn’t have been there in the first place, and her performance made that all the more obvious
I wouldn’t be surprised if she didn’t even want to do it. I can totally see them making her do something like this. It’s not north’s fault.
@@sailorsatan5562 while yes I do agree, if she wanted to start her acting career not a lead role especially if it’s her first gig. But the issue is people are bashing a child. A literal 10 year old and that’s not fair and it’s disgusting. A 10 year old doesn’t hold the power
My problem with nepotism is there people who do nothing nothing to improve their craft and expect opportunities handed to them where there is multiple people who are very talented and worked behind off and they get scraps or nothing
i saw this one tiktok of a mom talking about how her daughter also auditioned for that role but she lost it to north
So 😔 sad...like Kim on A.H.S !
If it’s the blonde lady, it was a joke and she doesn’t have a daughter
This pisses me off. Y’all remember the college scandal? Yeah this is the same thing.
North was not ready to perform on that stage you can see she was enjoying herself but it doesn’t change the fact that it was a bad performance especially for broadway. She still young and has room for improvement Her parents are to blame for putting her into that situation
My opinion on the situation don’t trash on the kid blame Kim for using her status to get the child the role as simba
THANK YOU !! Everyone is bashing the child. We all know it’s Kris and Kim. Because all the other Kardashians grandkids don’t care about the fame and are kept hidden
Those kids will destroy them when they get older trust me.
Kiki and Koko might want to hold off on the enthusiasm that Mason is on IG, that boy has been fed up with that family since he was little 😂😂
if they had "her in mind" THEN WHY WOULD OTHER KIDS BE AUDITIONING????
Exactly!
the kid with glasses from the audition video deserved SO MUCH MORE
Shoutout to John David Washington for not falling into being a “nepo baby”. His father is the incomparable Denzel Washington but he chose to not use his father’s connections to make a name for himself in Hollywood. ❤
Also, I think Jack Quaid is pretty good example of nepotism baby working his caboose off(one of his notable works is the series boys.. It's really really ridiculously good)
Definitely and same thing goes to Tracee Ellis Ross - she made her own name while being Diana Ross’ daughter.
@@hi.goodbye2167 I love her and OPs mentioned celeb.. there are more good eggs but these three are very great examples...
I absolutely HATE this family! They ruin peoples lives just for their gain!
Also, Kanye saying he refuses to let North be exploited by Disney didn’t age well huh?
Lol you’re being dramatic and north is just like her dad she clashes with her own mother who is Kim all the time 🤣 Kim even says you can’t tell north what to do she will do what she wants if it has passion
@@alexanderbayarea trust me, it’s definitely not a flex for North to be like her dad either! Both Kim and Ye are horrible parents!!
Imagine paying all that money to go there....and then fcking North comes on the stage to scream like that...I would literally walk out and ask for a full refund
@98dannyj
This is so mean, she is a child. Direct your frustrations somewhere else.
@Blisblez994 if it was any other kid it would be the same. Regular kids from normal families need to face harsh criticism every day. Why not North? Since they display her so publicly? All of them need to humble a bit
I dislike Nepo babies hard.
Lol
kendall is as self made as kylie is a billionaire (in their dream) 😭
The performance was terrible. The costume was borderline offensive. The only kids I feel bad for are the real talents who spent years working on their skill. And Kendall is absolutely a nepo baby. Just stop
I don't care that north is a kid. She already acts like a grown-up and is spoilt rotten to the point I can't stand her. She is kanye 2.0.
YES, YES, YES, - IT IS TRUE...
Very true , I’m not a fan of Kim but I feel sorry that north is literally her kid and she even hating on her , in public and online .
You’re who they should be protecting her from
You gotta be really sad in your life to hate on a kid. She’s 10 fuckin years old. Blame the parents
Another Kardashian/jenner to block.
I don’t think Kim was her only parent pushing this, Ye has been pushing her to perform for years
With the song “Talking” , North has been able to be herself and express her creativity with Kanye.
I agree. Kanye would not do something like this…🤔
@@Blisblez994 Her costume screams Kanye
If i get through this year without anymore of the kardashians drama; im buying everyone a drink...
I’ve always said the Kardashians would treat their kids like an investment
"It's not what you know, it's who you know"
Or who you came out of
Definitely seen this coming when she was born as Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s child
Least Kayne is grounded❤
The kids are innocent. It’s not their fault they were born into the families they were.
HOWEVER!! No one can tell me they wouldn’t do the same thing if they had the opportunity. 🥴
i know north is just a child but i cant bring myself to like her 😂 she has such an entitled attitude
She's obnoxious , I don't like the kid either !!
Girl you’re wrong. Some parents have come out to speak up about their kids auditioning for this role and how they found out when there was 5 kids left that north west was going to audition and eventually got selected.
Wait so last minute North joined and got it?
@@karlasanchez7852 yup! She skipped the line
Never been so early! Please bring back your podcast!!!
i don’t think north should be getting the hate that’s weird asf to me she’s a little kid. it should be towards the adults that allowed it NOT north!
these ppl are grown as hell sending hate to a child instead of the adults who got her into this situation in the first place
3:05 i 100% agree with the guys statement completely.
These kids need protection from the hate. Boycott kartrashians show businesses and media
It’s the fact we have grown ass men tearing a child down…. 😒
They are comparing north and blue with each other but both are nepo babies😂
Absolutely, these "adults" are disgusting!
There is a lady on tik Tok almost in tears saying her child was in the top three for the role and then Kim and north came in and they immediately got the part
It should still be up on TikTok
Kim should know better than to pay to put her kid in situations where she'll be publicly ridiculed shes not good ,and that's ok. Foster her other talents instead.
They have enough money to live comfortably. Why even bother.
For the publicity and attention
Yeah, I had a feeling they were gonna push her to sing and she can’t sing. This is where people get angry at nepo babies regardless of age. If you have talent no one is gonna say anything tbh but if you don’t then uff
Nepotism is the WORSt! I am not in the entertainment industry but it is everywhere!!!! I lost an opportunity because someone’s cousin got the job who has no experience. It is everywhere and it is so gross
I don’t follow them, I never cared about them and will never .
to me, the fact that there was no competition is even worse. talented kids didn’t even get a glimpse of hope, because North is there already
My dad used to tell me i couldn't carry a note even if it was in my pocket. I should say the same to North! Lol
Being a kid is hard enough, but can you imagine having Kim as your mom and Kanye as your dad? Oof
The same company that produced the lion king show, are also producers on the hulu Kardashian show.
I know someone that was in the production, they had her practice only 3 times with the whole cast
I don't want North to get hate, she's a kid...but i don't think its bad if she sees people take offense to her being there either. She's nine, that's around the age she should already know what's fair and what isn't. She needs to see that it was (in a basic understanding) not fair she got to do this.
I don't qant her to have to see hate campaigns against her online, but if she understands people were not happy and displeased with the fact she got to do this just because her family, it might be the only reality check she'll get
You COULD talk about their parenting tho 😉😉
I agree with the fact that the issue isn't nepo babies in general. The issue is nepo babies who refuse to accept that they're nepo babies.
It’s a catch 22, people hate on nepotism so of course people will avoid saying they got where they are from it
I have no hate towards nepo babies unless they deny being a nepo baby.
They honestly probably pressured her to do it it didn’t really seem like she wanted to be there
5:04 The problem is that she couldn’t carry a note in a bucket.
I was a receptionist but I got the job cause of my aunt and never hid that fact to anybody, I did have to work hard to prove I earned the job but it just gave me drive and make sure to respect the people around me
Them making a big deal about Mason’s IG feels like them trying to bring attention for sponsorships to come his way.
7:45 no he hasn’t reached 1M by the time u posted this video, yes, i checked tyvm🔥✨
Stop.
Im so disappointed in our society that these are the people who are famous.
And then they are like we are self made, we didn't use our fame in order to achieve that. LIARS
There's really no argument that can be made that North's role wasn't bought, taking this amazing opportunity from a child much more deserving after hearing north sing. If she could at least sing semi-decently it wouldn't feel as annoying.
Then who was that mother on Twitter going off about her daughter getting robbed of the part???
