My wife gets mad when I watch these videos. I can fall asleep listening to the grinders and welders. Love these videos!!! God bless.
Make sure to come back on Friday to see this kart come ALIVE!!! What did you guys think of the build?
I’ll be honest mr red beard. The kart is kinda slow bro, even with ur homie in it. I think you should put a 600 in it. Go gut one out of an old bike. Why not have a cross kart?
This was a customer build. Not every vehicle we build is ours and we build them to order.
It's awesome, but needs to be turned into a race/road kart with slicks! A true miniature Ariel Atom
Hey bud, don't you know tracks in the south are supposed to turn left? Lol
@@makeityours2229 that ain't racing. The karts do all the work. Real racing takes a driver. I live in Biloxi, ms and used to do dirt track karting. Then I decided to do better.
Man these instrumentals be lit. It makes watching the fab work alot more enjoyable!
Hey Hey, RBG!!! Just bought this big guy today! We are stoked to have it!
Nice! Looking forward to friday!!!
That thing is wicked!!! Nicely built!!!
great job that swing arm is good i am getting ready to build one myself and i am taking your advise and using more bearings good workmen God bless this planet
The articulation on that rear swing arm is perfect
I was going to comment on the swing arm. You did it for me. Nice! Huh? :-)
@@jlucasound I wish I had half the abilities that he does making this stuff
@@AlatarBlaze you will never learn tell you try I've worked in fabrication since about 14 almost 40 now 10 years ago I start electrical learned a ton also hang out with this 80 year old neighbor of mine did is a master at wood working been learning the craft from him old guys is we're you learn stuff and there always willing to have someo e to teach
@@davidpayne2469 you ain't kidding I've learned a lot from old timers especially woodworking it's a great thing to know
Love these vids ! Saw your face on the TV at GPS yesterday reminded me to catch up on your videos!
The exhaust is dope and so are you. Lonnie is half the man no doubt. Cool build. Much love, God bless and peace out. xoxo
dud i love this canal.. never stopp doing it :D
Great Job Red Beard!
Love it my dude. 420cc is what I run on my yerf dog
Only issue I could see if you go on more rough terrain in the future is there ain't a guard for the brake disc and sprocket but the wider rear was genius
Things becoming a beast bud 🤘🏻🐿🤘🏻
Wow that thing fly's!
Luv the build mate 420s r great mine goes awsum with the custom 3 speed good job big fella cheers
Hey! I'm early again! Love all the builds you are doing right now!
Like the build. I cant wait to see how it does with a better clutch lol
this one is beyond nice looks fun as heavens my friends God bless
I have a Duramax 420cc on my 1950 Cushman Eagle and I simply added a tiny 12 volt Alternator !! The motor produces 3 am the alternator 35 !! I'm just sharing
That's the first step in recovery, admitting you have a problem lol
What up red beard love your awesomeness work
Yep, when you get the TC dialed in to match the cam it will be a ripper. That is a great kart platform, it is a shame they ony put the slug 150cc on them from the factory. Bat's engine would burn the heck out of the belt when it reached it's powerband on his cam. It looks nice how you have it looking now. It almost looks like an open wheeled race car. 👍👍
make some spacers [IE washers ] to space out the rims to clear the rims if you have a lathe you can make spacers easily
You should do an inventory of all you carts running or not👌🤷♂️👍
420 ayeeeee
Thank you sir!
Good idea to put that roll bar in, doesn't look tippy, but if it would, that would trap you in preeety bad. Saw an Ariel turned over and it seemed like a bit** to get out of it.
I see yall have beaten that track path down pretty good. I just talked with a guy who has a dozer and is going to come do a survey and see if he can clear the land behind my house with it and let me know how much its going to cost to build a track.
this is the reason my homework doesnt get done
I think its pretty neat, one observation...I see all those trees right at the edge of the trail, I also note both of you sitting on those seat belts. I spent several years as a Deputy, I've seen lots of wrecks, with plenty of comparisons between people wearing belts and those not wearing belts. Seat belts save lives, there is no doubt, if someone hits one of those trees on your little trail, and they aren't wearing a full safety harness, they will be seriously injured. PLEASE wear proper safety equipment, helmet and safety harness, remember there are lots of kids watching what you do and you are setting an example, will it be a good example or a bad one?
Like a knock off Ariel Atom! I love it! Motorcycle engine shifter kart for sure!
This thing would be sick with a 600 or 750cc sport bike engine. Then take it to the drag strip
@@isidrosevier1125 or give it a long travel suspension and a CRF 450 motor on it
@@saltyfloridaman7163 that would be sick too
Needs a skid plate for the brake rotor and the sprocket. They look very vulnerable.
Welding in shorts classy
If you nead a hammer you know it's a tight fit, as always thumps upp :-)
Yah that's an idea. I really don't like the idea of deleting the front brakes. That makes no sense.
Go find some honda 410x4 4wheeler rims. you can get factory rims in 11 or 12 inch size cheap and keep the big front brakes. I run the 11 inch rims with 23 inch tires on my buggy and upgraded to 8 inch rotors. You might have to upgrade from the wearfast GPS tires but GBC has their street force tires since you want street tires. My buddy been running them on his golf cart for about 2 years now beating it and spinning out all the time with the 400ex engine.
That’s a nice looking gokart.I have to buy a 780 toque convertor so I won’t go through so many belts.Good info.
Buy a motorcycle motor with a 5 or 6 speed and use a 45T sprocket for the rear
exellent channel
Did you guys switch the entire back axle mounts etc? Got myself one but the cheap tire mount bent
yall are gods
That odyssey needs a snowmobile engine !! 😬
Man that thing looks worthy of a crotch rocket motor.
Great minds think alike.
ENGINE
GSXR 750 👍🏻
@@davidmorgan8612 why not the 1100
Busa power
Will the 780 CVT kit bolt up to a Predator 420? Are the holes in the backing plate the same?
These Chinese machines aren't half bad if you're like Red Beard and you have the skills to make them perform better. They're not a bad platform to use to learn how to work on an engine either. You won't be too upset if you happen to break something on it because when you do the parts to fix them aren't really that expensive.
Yes Mr jenggot.
Imagine hitting hose rumble strips! That’ll give that heavy duty suspension a work out!
yes sir
No
you could put spacers on the front hubs
Red, that roll cage will not help you at all in a roll over. Your head is still the tallest point. Just draw a imaginary line between the tallest point in the front of the kart and the roll bar and youll clearly see the drivers head sticking out (not good). Cars and Cameras did the same mistake in their crosskart and later they noticed it and have to fix it. Watch their build video and youll see what Im talking about.
The 780 torque converter, would it work with a Kubota 656 cc 3 cylinder diesel that may get a vz21 turbo installed?
All those upgrades, so why in the heck would you delete the front brakes?
Lonnie just got married, he hasn't had time to grow into the man he could be. Lol
You mean broke, broken, and divorced paying child support for his children he's lucky to ever see? I sure hope not.
@@IWABKingofPain first of all that is some of the funniest shit I've read today. Secondly apparently you didn't watch the video or you would know it was a joke referring to the video. And finally, while I don't know Lonnie's full background I do have the pleasure of calling Greg, Becca, Daniel, and Lonnie friends or at the very least good acquaintances. Can you do the same?
Hey Greg, could you fab up some wheel spacers and keep the original brake rotors and calipers?
He can order some and they will fit.
What I was about to say
Looking to make a NYS legal Arrow.Car rims, directionals, headlights, windshield, etc.Everything needed to basically make it a roadster that can be registered at DMV.
Ever do a build like that?
If not,any advice?
Which do you think is best, Coleman ct200u or bt200x. Thanks. Can’t always listen bc my wife the nurse will get mad if I wake her. Lol. Looking at one or the other. Any expert advice is appreciated.
Whoop!
That shock angle is going to make the shock move slower rather than faster towards the end of its travel.
you're really in inspiration. I gotta know tho....what part# or whatever are those shocks? please and thanks...
I WOULD LIKE TO SEE A 700 RAPTOR ENGINE ON IT
Hey, I just purchased a large Chinese Hanmo 150 ATV. I can’t seem to find anything about it online, is there a place that might have information?
What should I do to my tao tao arrow 200 if I want to give it more torque
Looks like a mini bat mobile nananan red beard.
Looks like a car from Mario Kart
Can’t you use a spacer for the front hubs
Pretty neat for some really expensive kids toys.
Do the brackets the top of the front shocks are hooked to rotate? If so, you have the strut rods and shocks swapped. Research cantilever shock.
The person that had this before us took out the original shocks and these are too long to fit up in the hood area. Later we will find the right size and put it back to cantilever style
Can you do a top cage so I can do it on mine?
Hell yea bro thats so cool i have 20years of fab work. How much are hats
Looks pretty sweet. Why does go power sports advertise the 780 handle only 30hp. I built a 670 with performance 670 parts to get about 28hp because the advertised hp rating being 30hp
Is that a Honda Odyssey!? 12:24
That wasn't the smartest going the wrong way on the side of the road. lol.
Guess yall missed this part of the description box:

I would ride the same way . If a car hits you its there fault.
OMG, lol, I honestly read the comments section for 2 reasons
1: the haters jealousy is funny
2: the UA-cam OSHA/LAW ENFORCEMENT people! Exactly why kids grow up in today's time not knowing the difference between a flat head screwdriver and a ratchet!!
@messin with mike your comment is a perfect example of why kids are not legally allowed to have real fun anymore! Yet you would rather them sit inside (so they want get hurt) and play violent video games all day long then go to some school somewhere and shoot up the place and everybody in it right!!! Go figure!
@@jasonjgr8580 not true... in my area you would be found at fault for 1) not following the flow of traffic
2) driving a go cart (aka non registerable vehicle upon the roadway) yes we have atv laws here with posted routes and speed limits
3) In the event of a wreck you'd also get cited for failure to yield to a motor vehicle... (atvs, utvs, and snowmobiles are required to yield right of way)
4) operating a motorized vehicle upon public property without proper registration and insurance
5) many other law violations
Lower it!!! And 600cc sport bike engine! ! ! ! !
Needs a bike motor that and IV not watched it go yet
Stuart Jebb my thoughts exactly! It needs a liter bike engine/trans
I don't know about the engine mounted on the swing arm but yet I've not build one
Whats a good cart to go trailriding that not going to cost me 14k that has awd...
55 at's a regular grocery gitter !🍌
Wait so you have to weld it if you buy it
I cant understand why people always hook the motor directly to the swingarm, move your engine mounts to the frame bro . For one thing that is a shitload of unsprung weight and the second thing is that has to be hard as fuck on the motor thrashing around like that .. it would also help with your oversized rear springs by adding all that weight over top of them . The only thing you would have to do is figure out a chain tensioner
What happened to the electronic motor
Golly those must be stiff shocks! Look at the placement o my gosh lol
Craziness. Especially without the weight of the motor over them .. fuckin lazy swingarm mount
Could use spacer
So awesome. Drop a bike engine on there. A big bike engine. >800cc. For great justice.
Have yall ever messed with a Subaru OHC engine? It doesn't look like anyone makes aftermarket parts for them. This looks almost like a cross cart. How much power do you think the chassis would handle?
Our original plans was to put a gsxr 600 engine I have laying in the garage but a guy bought this build from us so I built it to his spec.
@@RedBeardsGarage That will be a screamer whatever home you find for it. I really want to put the engine from an MT09 on something.
I was thinking about putting a 570cc stroker on it after modifying the head. What do you guys think?
good vid build a all wheel drive minibike like a rokon not uding a rokon
Looks like your driving on the wrong side of the road if that car flips when they think your about to hit it????
Should but 500cc two stroke on it 🔥🔥
CRF 450 4 stroke, that way it can be street legal
Go Bigger. Put a 600 cc on it.
They should make a street legal version of this thing and sale it without a engine and transmission.
Yeah, street legal karts would sell like crazy in Florida, especially offroad focused ones
Red Beard, how do I contact you? I am working on a project, and I need some help in getting it done. I have a four wheel, Suzuki 650F powered project with a swingarm rear (engine mounted on the rear swingarm). I need some help in making this work, or change some things. I need to talk to you.
Put a 600cc in it with some paddle shifts
Yallow
That thing is screaming for a built 670. Do eeeeeeet.
Even a stock 670 with an exhaust, filter, and some jetting would do it plenty of good
Even a built 212 would do it some good but 212 builds have been beat to death. Id like to see a two stroke dropped in.
@@beararms3777 cr500 motor, yz 250 motor, banshee 350 motor, quadzilla 500 motor, etc
@@beararms3777 how would a built 212 outperform the engine in this video????
Top speed runs in the safety lane facing oncoming traffic. At what point did that not seem stupid to you?
TurboWagon Did they get hurt?
@@techhead976 luck works great until it runs out
TurboWagon It seems like your feelings are the only ones that are hurt man lol they’ve done speed tests on that same road for quite some time now. If you want to get technical operating anything with a engine is “unsafe”... When you drive your car/truck you’re driving towards oncoming traffic all the time, the only is a yellow or white painted line lol
*difference
@@techhead976 doing something a bunch doesn't make it safe. That's a gokart, not a car. Very big difference in size, weight and safety.
i would get it, but i cant find any with 1 seat.
Why not just move the front hubs out to make the rims clear the caliper.
On your brakes just add wheel spacers
Did I hear go power sports?
Where’s the buggy?!
ariel atom Ateam 😂😂🤣
Tao tao atom
Would you sell your spare nose plastics? I desperately need one.
now use a GSXR750 engine on this one :-)
