Elvis was the ultimate entertainer. His command of the stage his control over his band was way and above perfection. There will never be another entertainer like Elvis Aaron Presley
You are so on the point. I was raised on Elvis. I love what you're saying about Elvis. On of the things that impressed me so much is James Brown comments about Elvis. He said Elvis wasn't his friend he was his brother. He also said he didn't open the door for African Americans he broke it wide open. James Brown went to Memphis to view Elvis at Graceland after his death and broke down and cried for hours. Thank you for positive comments.
Often imitated, never duplicated...Never be another like him for sure. I am not the King. Jesus Christ is the King. I’m just an entertainer. Elvis Presley
My Mom cried for a week when Elvis died. Two years ago she suffered with dementia. My sister took her to a Elvis impersonator. She cried the whole time. She believed it was really him. It brought her so much joy and happiness. Elvis was her King for sure. Thank you for reviewing him.
You are so right.all you have to do is watch Elvis.he will always be with us who love him and respect him.he was down to earth and he was real.those who criticize him should be ashamed of themselves
It is beyond insulting and disrespectful to call you that. People are pathetic. What is wrong with you folks? Yes, let's separate ourselves from the negativity. Keep going man. You're doing great work!
The man has explained himself. People, please leave him alone. EVERYONE makes mistakes. Me. You. Everyone. Enjoy the videos and the honest, pure, insightful reaction. Show him respect.
I looove his reactions to Elvis Presley. Elvis is not NOT racist. He loves the Sweet Inspirations very much. Please review, "If I can dream." The aforementioned song is the Elvis Presley tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King. Ummmm...thought I would share that. Elvis is NOT racist, as this gentleman has clearly stated. ❤.
You are sooooo right! Elvis will make you move! I loved this one! I learned a lot of life’s lesson through Elvis. Genuine care for others being just one. Thank you for loving Elvis. Music would NOT be the same without him. ❤️
Elvis Presley was such an entertainer amazing powerful voice amazing stage presence and charisma Thank you so much for doing these. I am 50 years old and growing up I was and still am a huge Elvis fan
My two beliefs are in God my Heavenly Father and Elvis who sang and worshipped him through his gospel songs. Oh he touched my soul and awaken my spirit. ❤️Elvis
Don't know how someone could be a fan of his and say something like that to you. It goes against everything he was as a human being. Love this performance. Thank you.
If you liked this then watch 'patch it up' and 'just pretend' at the same concert, and don't worry about the haters, carry on with what you're doing and enjoy it
Ignorance runs rampant! I'm biracial and have dealt with that level of ignorance from both sides! The worst was my high school counselor, a white woman in her 60's. I was filling out college applications (me? A product of the projects on Detroit's west side)! I came to a section that asked if I was white, African American, Hispanic or any other Latin nationality, or Native American! I didn't know which box to check. So I asked my counselor! She said, "Well honey, what are you?" "My mom's black and my dad is white!" Under her breath she said, "You poor child - just leave it blank. We'll figure it out later!" So, yeah! Ignorance!
Block to people who want to perpetuate race Mike. When Elvis was a young teenager he would go to the local black church for the gospel because he felt more at home. Just block them. They’re not worth getting you upset. Keep doing what you do my man. Your reactions are passionate and honest.
This is a very smart man and a good man I enjoy his videos,He is very honest on what he says."THANK YOU" for doing Elvis Presley and the Sweet Inspirations they did a very great job.
I love your reactions. It is a simple equation. When Elvis was on his game there was no one better. You can throw all the crap out the window because this guy had it all. He was mismanaged and he still had it all. Keep them coming. I enjoy watching a man that has been gone for 42 years dominating you tube with the younger generation.
Elvis was talent- in the truest sense of the word. He has always brought me joy but he also met me in the valley and let me know that I wasn’t alone. The world was better for him being in it. Charisma, humility, humor, physical beauty and that amazing voice. Yes I’m a huge fan
Rowena Nunn Oh I do. I almost met them in 1982. They we’re trying to go out on their own and we’re signing records at a record store. It was in Maryland outside Washington DC. I spotted them in the window of the record store. I worked at the grocery store next door they all three came out. I stood there at my spot because I was loading peoples car’s with their groceries. I couldn’t leave my post or get in trouble. By the time I could get in there they we’re gone. We’ll I just feet away from them.
SO YOU NOTICED THE GORGEOUS SWEET INSPIRATIONS!!! Have you ever seen the photo of young Whitney Houston back stage with Elvis? Her mom was LEAD VOCALS in the sweet inspirations! Young man I’m 67 years old and YOU ARE MY NEW HERO! God Bless
Man Syde, you NAILED IT. Elvis had a GREAT band who could transition from structured to improv on a dime. Sweet Inspirations were awesome and Elvis had everyone in sync.
I truly adore watching your reactions - especially to Elvis. You are having fun right along side him, and take us all on the ride with you. Thank you for doing what you do, exactly the way you do it.
"Props to The Sweets too!". Yes. Everyone knew they sang with Elvis and thought they were great, but something that gets lost over the years is that they were among some of the BEST at what they did, and at that time among the most highly-regarded backing vocalists in Soul music world, backing other artists with their voices like Aretha, Van Morrison, Wilson Pickett, the Bee Gees, Solomon Burke, T-Bone Walker.... I mean if The Sweets walked into a studio it was prime time and they only made the other artist better. And I agree about the similarities between Elvis and James. James said it himself - "Elvis was a hard worker"
Michael ~ I love your dialogue & verbally describing your evolution. I live in the Bronx and many of my black friends were brought up with the same thoughts about Elvis. Overall it's been a positive discussion. Keep reacting. I love your TRUTH!
Good on you Michael. Yeah his band was born prepared for anything Elvis would pull on them, especially James Burton on lead guitar, and Ronnie Tutt on drums. By the way, Burton was the first band member Elvis recruited. On another note, James Brown adored Elvis. You could play his tribute to Elvis with his version of "Love Me Tender." It's touching.
I love this one. It makes me smile everytime. Honestly I listen to music as therapy also. Music puts me in a good mood everytime . I want to thank you for the reactions, I'm enjoying them tremendously. Keep up the good work. It does say alot about Elvis for him to be able to still draw in an audience with that charisma of his all these years after his passing. RIP Elvis.💟
Bravo!!!! Another kick-ass performance by Elvis and by your reaction! As for your opening statement about race, the idiot who called you "boy" is a racist his damn self. Elvis loved all people of all races, but he hated bigots and his fans know that. Which gets me how they idolize someone who was open minded and colorblind when themselves are closed minded and racist. A quote from Estelle Brown of The Sweet Inspirations "We once called Elvis boss and he said, don't call me boss. I'm not your boss, I'm your brother. You're my sisters. We're family!" They really did love one another.
Elvis is absolutely smoking on this one - what a special dude he was and true mega-legend. Thanks Syd, respect to you and just ignore the few sad and pathetic people out there, there's no hope for some.
"When you get right down to the nitty-gritty Isn't it a pity that in this big city Not a one little bitty man'll admit He could have been a little bit wrong" Elvis Presley - Clean Up Your Own Backyard. You sir are a GIANT. Much love and respect, Michael.
There are some people that exist in life simply to troll and to bring negativity into the world. You strike me as a strong and opinionated person and some people are threatened by that. Just keep doing you and ignore those kinds of people! Don't even give them the time of day with a reply. Just my opinion. Anyway, I grew up in the 70's loving Elvis as my Dad did and I love seeing you learning more about him and appreciating him as you do. Thanks for your reactions!
Block the jerks being mean! I love your reactions! This is supposed to be fun! Don't respond to the mean comments, these idiots will get bored if you don't entertain them, and move on.
It's hard to stick to this Internet rule, but you have to. Trolls must be ignored and blocked. And reported. But no direct interaction. No giving them airtime on your video! This is what they want. There is an element of the fans who are - well, you know what they are. They must be ostracized out of social media.
Thank you, I enjoy ur channel. I think some of those people need to think before speaking! Now with Elvis, I've seen him 5 times! I'm telling u the electricity he would bring before he even came on stage. Then the band starts playing the 2001 theme, Then all the flashbulbs start popping from everyone's camera! I went to get the link to a lot of that Cincy show, which I uploaded so you could see it. Looked at the comments and saw that you already saw it about three years ago. :) Here's the link if you want to watch again. He split his suit while doing Polk Salad Annie! ua-cam.com/video/38gm13iz8BA/v-deo.html
DramaSydETV, you have found out what Elvis is all about by watching and listening to him, and that's what it's all about. Since then you have based you opinion on him from those observations, and that sir, is all that matters. I'm sorry to hear that some folks are not "content" with that. To them I say, please, listen and look to these videos! We all love the King! And be very certain that he himself would be very displeased with any kind of pack-mentality. If you love blues, gospel, country etc (and everything that sprang from it, including rock and roll) then we're all on the same frequency. Love and enjoy the great music that Elvis and contemporary artists delivered, no matter the color! It's among the greatest moments in music history!
This song was a cover Elvis did of a song written&sung by Tony Joe White! Can I tell you something amazing: bc back in the day, '67-'68, we couldn't look up someone and see what they looked like, but, wow, his voice and the subject matter, made me think he was African-American! To top it off, he did a follow-up song called IT'S A RAINY NIGHT IN GEORGIA which solidified my thinking! Not until decades later did I found out he was a white dude! I was too much into black groups like The Four Tops, The Temptations, Supremes, even Lou Rawls! Do me a favor, workout looking at the man, react to his voice and tell me what you think, if there's enough BLUESY undertones to make you think it could've been a black singer! He was from the south some place, I believe I read somewhere! But, when Elvis did this song, Tony Joe White was very glad...he could've retired!
Great reaction! I like the diet tip. LOL It's true too. Some people dance only with their feet. Elvis' upper body movements are fascinating because he often does two totally different types of moves with the upper and lower body - at the same time! Thank you. P.S. -- Don't feed the trolls. Trolls go after perceived sensitivity. That's what gives them pleasure. They are bullies, but online, they can be silenced at the push of a button.
That was so much fun. I love watching others enjoy that mans moves. Oh yes his band and singers were world class. Those had to be fabulous shows to watch. I think for him and james brown it had to be that their people loved them. You just never knew what was coming next so you you as a member were also getting a show everytime. Gotta do "patch it up" next. Real fun to watch and great for dancing to
You're right on about his band and backup singers being top quality professionals. Very impressive the way they didn't miss a beat during his improvisations.
Thanks for the reactions...continue them man. And btw, Fuck the haters. If they had a rational thought, it would die of loneliness. Keep on bro. PEACE!
Again , my friend your spot on with your comments . It's awesome that you dig Elvis . He was one of a kind , just like Micheal Jackson , James Brown . You have my respect . Walk on !
Elvis was the full package. He possessed soul, rhythm, kindness, humility, the looks the voice and was charismatic.
Elvis was the ultimate entertainer. His command of the stage his control over his band was way and above perfection. There will never be another entertainer like Elvis Aaron Presley

Sounds like Elvis was using some of his marching rifs from when he served in the Army!!!
Michael ~ I love your dialogue & verbally describing your evolution. I live in the Bronx and many of my black friends were brought up with the same thoughts about Elvis. Overall it's been a positive discussion. Keep reacting. I love your TRUTH!

I’ve played guitar since I was 16 but always notice the drums in an Elvis show.
THAT's THE BEST REACTION EVER ! !
Yeah, Elvis hated being called "The King." But he indeed sung about him. 😁
You are right about Elvis and James Brown, dude. And they were great friends, too.
I love this one. It makes me smile everytime. Honestly I listen to music as therapy also. Music puts me in a good mood everytime . Elvis Presley - Clean Up Your Own Backyard. You sir are a GIANT. Much love and respect, Michael.
You're a wise man, my friend. Be safe, stay well!
Oh Dear, How I am enjoying Elvis!!!

Elvis was multifaceted. He sang GOSPEL ,ROCK,BLUES, CHRISTMAS , COUNTRY ,POP ...
Elvis was a kind caring person who loved all men no matter the race or class......
There are some people that exist in life simply to troll and to bring negativity into the world. You strike me as a strong and opinionated person and some people are threatened by that. Just keep doing you and ignore those kinds of people! Don't even give them the time of day with a reply. Just my opinion.
I love that you mentioned the Sweet Inspirations. They are fantastic.
Thank you, I enjoy ur channel. I think some of those people need to think before speaking! Now with Elvis, I've seen him 5 times! My biggest regret was not being able to see Elvis live. You are one lucky man to have witnessed him in action.
You are flat out adorable 😊😊😊
Always your reaction are the best ever
Elvis enjoyed the new sound, he presented Jackson 5 in May 1974 in Vegas 😉
More Elvis plzzzz...
Great reaction! I like the diet tip. LOL It's true too. Some people dance only with their feet. Elvis' upper body movements are fascinating because he often does two totally different types of moves with the upper and lower body - at the same time! Thank you.
