To be frank, Indianapolis is a one of the larger cities in the U.S. The population is close to a million. Some people are not aware that there are metropolises other than NYC, Chicago and L.A. There is Indianapolis, Phoenix, Houston, Dallas, Oklahoma City and others. Some people just aren't as informed of the U.S. landscape as they should be. Other than the NYC metropolitan area, NY state is pretty rural. You'll see as much farmland and woodland in NY as you would Indiana. Indianapolis is not a small city by no means.
Ppl dont think about nap town cus the metro population aint that big. St. Louis has 300k ppl in the city but the metro is around 3 million and had that population for decades while nap town growth os newer so ppl haven't caught on yet

Grew up on 34th and moller , went to school 108 and northwest highs school. I’m 41 now and those apartments use to be Greystone Village and it was full of Gary people and definitely wasn’t any Mexicans in site when I lived in that area. We had a Burger King , a family dollars, roselyn bakery and Preston Safeway
This brings back so many memories I graduated from Northwest high school in 2004 I lived in the same apartments and they was 60% abandoned, but that market used to be village pantry when I lived out there Forever Tre 4 back then we beefed with 23rd, Haughville and 3rd Ward the west skating rink and the downtown mall and Lafayette Mall was always a rumble 98 to 04 on the West was the Wild Wild West BIG FACTS and everybody hit 38th Street on the weekends to see all the fly shit
