Thank you sir ofr this instruction video, Rennline offical video only shows the car with glove box, so I could not sure mine will fit or not. After your excellent video, now I can ditch my ugly old phone holder, switch to this one!
Nicely done sir! I have the same car and purchased one of these for my truck to see if they worked. I find that the magnet is sub par or the steel ring is not enough to really hold. I did take note to the magsafe case suggestion. I will try that before purchasing one of these for the Cab. One quick question thou, how did you get your ashtray to open that quickly? Mine is very sluggish and most of the time it needs help. Thanks, Slick
That's a nice solution. Your radio problem isn't as bad as you think, if you can't pull it out, it's much easier to push it from the back. You don't need to remove the whole center console. You have to remove the bottom wood piece which is only held by a screw towards the rear side and then it hinges off on 2 hooks on the front (mine doesn't have the compartment box, so I think you have to look it up how to remove it first). After the bottom piece is off, you can remove the ash tray. Behind the removable ash holder there are 2 screws and then the ash tray assembly just pulls out and can be removed once you unplug the power connector. At this point you should be able to stick your hand where the ash tray was and push the radio out from behind. It may seem complicated, but just look it up on youtube and it's really simple, shouldn't take more than 30 minutes. PS: The reason you have to take out the bottom wood piece first is so the front part doesn't get damaged when you remove the ash tray, if you notice it sits a bit over the ash tray wood.
What happens if the airbag activates? Looks like it would launch your phone at the passengers just at the moment they will need to use it to phone 911.
I have and mentioned it in my W124 walkthrough video. I didn’t film what I did but it was just replacing the dash speakers with ones from Polk Audio which was easy to do and replacing one of the door speakers with an original ones since they actually sound decent.
The metal plate won’t be compatible with a w210. There’s no where it could attach to. It’s possible to make custom metal plate for the w210 and reuse the ball socket and plate.
Hey, I just use for my w210 plastic holder by Brodit. There plenty designs. Mine fix on central vents. The problem hard to get some in our days also as price. $20 or even more

Hot dammm that shit looks nice bro
Just curious if youve done anything to improve the speakers and sound system for this car if so can you do a video on it. Cheers

What mount do you use for the w210?
Not using one currently. I am looking into a solution for it
@@SoCal210could you use the same mount but just rely on the adhesive without the screw?

I bought a magnetic mount at $5 & Below. Super basic, doesn't swivel or extend...🤌
Hi, what do you think will the suction cup stick to the dash board?
