So, I was born in 62 in Notts, and I can clearly remember my mum loving this series, Elsie Tanner, Annie Walker, Stan & Hilda Odgan, and poncy Dennis Tanner, the list goes on and on. I have been watching a few of these and can see why it was so popular, very topical and quite gritty for the times on TV. I can see why my mum never missed an episode...
Thank You, just brilliant 🎉 Pat at her fiery best, great scene in The Rovers when all went quiet during Happy Birthday to Minnie. Well said Annie to Elsie. Good scenes with Dennis too.

Thank you so very much for these lovely episodes xx
I love me some Annie Walker
I am loving watching these. I would love to watch these from the 1st ever episode up until the 1980s, I can’t stand the ones that are showing now.
I like the way Mrs Walker could have a humane and kindly side to her character. I gave her great depth. Thankyou for sharing ❤
I never thought that I’d ever agree with Annie Walker, but she said what had to be said to Elsie! 😂
Thanks for another great episode! Pat Phoenix is on fire.

Episode 501. Classic from beginning to end with Annie Walker putting Elise Tanner in her place.
In the credits, when was Miss a Nugent referred to by her Christian name.
