Thanks dude! The solo took a lot of practice to be able to play at speed. It's definitely one of the trickier ones to play at tempo let alone play cleanly. Out of curiosity, which nuances are you referring to?
@@afra_r Certain idiosyncrasies in the way the riffs play out. The first riff doesn’t repeat the same way every time and on that Bell section chug riff has a little back and forth slide phrase that’s easy to miss on the recording, but when you DON’T play it, it’s absence becomes very obvious.

@@sabbatus Doves of War solo is definitely a step up for sure lol. Happy to have helped learn the songs, goal is for all GBK songs to be posted (split across me and Tyrant's channels). I'm even toying with the idea of making a songwriting analysis video to show people how these songs are written, but we'll see if that comes to fruition since I'm not sure if many people care about that or not. I'd heard a track from Evoke on a Fenriz mixtape some years ago and thought it was quite good, and the full album wound up kicking as much ass as I was expecting it to, so thanks for the rec!
@@Mor_MatuM I generally take note of suggestions, but I pretty much have all my uploads for the next 2 years planned and scheduled so it will likely be a while before I get to requests if they're non-GBK/Sargeist/Gorgoroth/Behexen/Darkthrone since those are the bands I'm gonna be focused on for a while
