She measured her dogs paws so they didn’t get hurt on the grate because they are the most important people in the house. I love her.
I know, right?!! We couldn’t love Nina more!!
God bless her heart.
Instablaster.
Quite Fabulous😘
amazing right ,I have a toy poodle so sweet lady
There are so many clever takeaways from Ms. Nina Campbell's home. The use of mirrors to bring in light and to enlarge the space visually.
I love the narrow dining room table and the mirrored China cabinet!
I love China, dishware and glassware!
I would love looking through Ms. Campbell's China cabinet!
Creating the Bar in the entryway, clever indeed!
Thank you for introducing me to Ms.Nina Campbell.
Totally agree - Nina's home is an inspiration! As is she!
WOW! So many comments and so well deserved! This house is soooo amazing! It is divine!!! I love the casual comfort and coziness of this quaint home. It is so welcoming . Nina has added the most wonderful touches to it with the glass receding doors into the dining room, all the mirrored elements reflect the gardens and light thought out the cozy abode, her beautiful English style throughout, her dishes, her gardens, her books, her bar cart .... I could go on and on. ABSOLUTELY Love it!!!!
Sandra G Delighted to hear you loved!! Thank you!
Ms. Campbell is delightful and her home is exquisite! Having space in London is an incredible luxury and I'm glad she had the foresight to re-imagine this home in the way that she did.
Yes to all!! Nina is talented, smart and fun!
Indeed!!!
Where in London is this?
The mirrow's are fab for the few of your garden. The glass sliding door 's are fab to.👍👌❤❤
👍🏻👍🏻 Nina is so clever!
Absolute heaven. I use mirrors to increase the size of my main room. The sun hits the beveling and I have rainbows from March til October. A jewel of a London house. Warm and eclectic. Thanks.
Love the idea of her low ceilings painted with lacquer that reflect the room giving the impression of higher ceilings! Oh my the magnolia tree! Wonderful!
Thank you - glad you enjoyed!
Exactly! You stated what I was going to say! The ceiling ❤ And many other ideas and thoughts!
The details were so stunning. What a lovely oasis in the city.
It is indeed! Nina is so talented - and fun!!
I like her - I like her certainty and thoughtfulness of her dogs.
So glad! We do too!
Lovely and elegant, without being overdone. I instantly liked Nina! She seems like an old friend. I wonder if she would let my hubby and me come to visit....?? ❤🌺
LOL - Nina is not only talented and smart but so much fun!!
Someone who loves COLOUR!! Sooo many people are frightened of it especially RED!! I don't know how they don't get depressed living with all that Gray! (Especially in an English climate) thank u for showing me round u'r colourful interesting & cosy home! Love from malta😎
Yes! We love color! So glad you enjoyed. Would love to visit Malta someday!

So remember visiting this lady in London when I was in my teens as well as in New York when I was a little older. What a nice surprise. Nice lady. Be safe and take care.
Thanks and you too!
My Godnesssss... what a wonderful home with unique decors.... I loveee it....🤗💓
Febriyati Pralita So glad!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻
I’ve rewatched those video at least three times. There’s certain spaces you feel that it’s perfection. It starts with the blue door.
Thank you!! So glad you love!! Nina’s the best!
The most incredible home I have ever seen. The glass engraving is beyond belief. The only snag...I have become a minimalist but the stunning flower arrangements on your window sill will be added in my kitchen.
This lady is full of good ideas for her home. It fells really homely and I like that.
OMGosh this is my new dream home!! Everywhere my eyes looked I saw something different and exciting. The books in the foyer OOOOHHHHH!! The colors! And, I agree with her 100% ceilings should not be ignored!
Regina Johnson SO glad you enjoyed!!
I've been daydreaming of painting our ceilings with a hi-gloss white.
- Cathy (&, accidentally, Steve), Ottawa/Bytown
Steve Zytveld I painted our ceilings with high gloss white in spite of the painters sputtering, “But that’s for bathrooms and kitchens!” Absolutely looks great.
@@risk5riskmks93 I'm sure they agreed with your choice once they saw the final result.
I agree with everything Nina has ever said, except "it's too early for vodka."
What a fearless, yet approachable, use of color...so beautiful and oh my with the china cabinets!!!!!!!!
jcrane45585 LOL - and yes to all!!
Just delightful! Her house matches her so well, which I think is the ultimate goal of decorating.
Agree!! So glad you enjoyed!
Beautifulll...
I loved Nina's dog, her love for its, her library, her dress, especially her garden.
We do too!
Love the Blue Door and the Magnolia!!!!!
I have this woman's paint colour sample book and it has, literally, the best colours ever. Some really stunning, super saturated jewel tones and everything in between. I painted my sons room in one of her blues over 17 years ago.
Bonjour Stacy and Suzanne, This visit with such a lovely lady was so nice. She has such an interesting house full of colors and flowers. The doors that are between the entertaining and dining area are so gorgeous ! She sounds like a lady that you want to spend hours and hours talking to and there is so much to learn from her. Lovely ! Thanks for the visit, take good care , be safe and healthy. - Rosalind - ooxox
Rosalind Hambleton Nina is someone you do want to have tea and a chat with indefinitely for sure!
Rosalind Hambleton Thanks so much Rosalind! So glad you enjoyed our visit with Nina who is always a delight!!
What an incredible woman. She is unique.
I quite like her I must say.
Nina is the best!
Beautiful. A garden with little dirt...my dream
Even though it is small, it is Fabulous and Chic!
Agreed!
Oh, my. Simply a dream. I love those dinner plates with the dogs on them. And, those sliding doors. Exquisite.
Very cozy home really like small things displaced so nicely
Your home is fine and you are too. Thanks for sharing your home
THE BEST MEDICINE for quarantine! Thank you J&S for a journey outside our homes-keep em coming P L E A S E!!! I too want to be her house guest. My favorite - THOSE PLATES - dog and the butterfly! Nina Campbell - an ICON and just darling...OMG.
I too love, love those plates, specially the one with the shih Tzu. Cute!!
So glad you enjoy!! And we love Nina too!! Thank you! 🙏🏻
Nice home decoration and beautiful garden maintenance, thanks for sharing.
Our pleasure! Glad you enjoyed!
What a charming and cozy home! I love Nina Campbell’s designs; I also have several of her books
I love the cocktail trolley at the door. Fab idea!
And all the tricksy mirrors to increase light and space--very John Soane London 💛
Nina is so clever! Glad you enjoyed!
This is done with an interesting mix of metallic mirror glamour and cottage cozy. The cabinet in the dining room is extraordinary for its storage capacity and façade. The intro is hilarious with Campbell describing with honest bluntness how ugly this hut was lol. In the UK small spaces are often transformed into the most unusual and functional spaces... then beautified beyond.
Agree on all!! Thank you for your thoughtful comment and glad you enjoyed!
I’ve watched this at least a half dozen times and I just love it. I don’t even care that she reminds me of Margaret Thatcher.
LOL - but with a much better sense of humor!
this is really what life should be about for every single person xx
Couldn’t agree more!
Fantastic idea for the entry way.......a bar!!! Love it!
We agree! Cheers!
Just love ninas home,it’s beautiful, cozy, warm, and inviting.I love her book section,I love to read, and hold a book in my hands.the pocket doors are amazing and a brilliant idea.love the dog plates.
Lindy Davis We love it too for all those reasons!! So glad you enjoyed!!
Love her home!!! Thank You!!!
You are so welcome!
More Nina!!!
Adore Nina! Susanna brings so much warmth to every home she visits. What a darling little house. Yes, a garden house. Utterly charming. 🌸🇬🇧
We adore her too and I will pass on your lovely compliment to Susanna! Thank you Juliette! - Stacey
I could not love you or Nina more! First, thank you for this lovely distraction in these trying times! Second, those etched room dividers discreetly camouflaging the table until it’s time to be presented - brilliant! Third, and what a table it must be from that AMAZING cabinet filled with all sorts of tablescape treasures! Fourth, all the light, bright, sumptuous bedrooms. Last and most important, making sure every detail is safe and comfortable for her fur babies!
Seriously, I couldn’t be more appreciative! Please follow the advice of every medical expert and Stay Home, Wash hands frequently, Disinfect surfaces, touch points, and everything that comes into your home, and STAY AWAY from others! Please be diligent and stay safe. Every life is precious! Big squeezes! 🤗🤗🤗
Thank you so very much for your thoughtful comment!! We are happy to provide some uplifting content in these somber days. I haven't been out of the house for days and am doing exactly what you suggest!! As a friend said, he was washing his hands so much to the happy birthday song that he feels like he's 108!! Stay safe and thanks again!
Quintessence Anymore, any time I leave a comment on social media, I leave a reminder for everyone to be diligent! This thing is insidious and sneaky. When you could be a symptomless carrier for up to 14 days, every place you go, everything you touch could potentially kill someone! That’s beyond scary crazy!
We must act like we have it and that everyone else has it! The latest I heard was the easiest way to catch it is to touch your face! So let’s all add that to the list! NEVER touch your face unless you’ve just washed your hands like you’re about to go into surgery! Everyone, please be careful and stay safe! I don’t know what else to do but send love and prayers to the entire world! 💗🙏🏻
Oh what a wonderful surprise to go into the home of Nina Campbell - thank you so much you never fail to please
Thank you - so glad you enjoyed!
Too short! I'd love to see more of Nina's house and all the ideas her fantastic friends (William Yeoward, I mean...wow!) had for her.
Зои
What a lovely woman and home. She made her space so cozy and interesting. And of course, she’s a wonderful dog mom and plant keeper. God bless her.
What an elegant home very warm and cosy. I love Ms Campbell accent very upper class. Sussana I am totally in love with this fashion look great pants and are those shoes Chanel? Tres elegant...........🤗🇨🇦
Ah London. Loved this. Everything so thoughtfully laid out and designed. Every day is a day to Enjoy! Your home. Do what you love. Surround yourself with beauty. Lots of inspiration here xx 🌷😘🏡
Beautiful Nina !!!!! I too, love gardens & doggies. And china & glassware. And wasn’t Susanna looking chic ? That was fabulous!!!! My kind of place.
Yes she loves all the best things!! So glad you enjoyed!
Thank you!!!!!
Beautiful home! I especially like that the dog's paw sizes were considered = high priority for caring & compassionate dog guardians!
I totally agree!
Love Ms. Campbell’s home and sensibility. When she said “Outies” to her dog she reminded me of my Aunt Magaret😊
That was too short! I was just beginning to get comfortable to watch and it was over...What a beautiful home. Thank you.
You are so welcome!
This is inspiring for people who are intentionally choosing to live in our cities for sustainability and to protect our environment. Smaller spaces can be enchanting. I am watching this on replay. Thank you so much!
City Living Guide our pleasure!! So glad you found inspiration - Nina’s home is indeed enchanting!
Very cozy home. I love the large sliding doors in glass. The idea of having a small bar at the entrance is very clever. If I would have been the one seeing the house before Nina, I probably would have had the same reaction. Magnolia Trees are my favourites, even if it doesn't blossom very long. And I love the blue door. There is something very quaint about this house. And this in the centre of London. A beautiful and tranquil place, a little piece of heaven.
I love all those things too - it is indeed a charming hideaway in the center of London!
I love this channel. It’s great to see collections in people’s homes. We hear so much about clutter and over stuffed. But when all things are tastefully places and have memories attached to them, they are treasures, not excessive.
Exactly! Glad you enjoy!
You dont know how much I needed this. I figured these might be done for a while. Love. Love. Love this place
No no - more coming every few weeks!!! So glad to hear it is raising people's spirits!
@@quintessenceblg Thank you. I so love your visits to homes we would not otherwise see.
@@quintessenceblg yes, please and thank you. Something soothing for the soul. 😊
The King's Daughter 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Diana B so happy to hear that!
Oh what a charming city/garden home! Just love the sliding glass pocket doors! I’ve never seen glass doors like that. I can’t imagine how fabulous it must be to stay in the secluded downstairs guest quarters. But my favorite part is the part is the bar in the foyer. Who doesn’t need a refreshment when returning home? Thank you so much for the tour. You are so kind to post this lovely video now.
Our pleasure - so glad you enjoyed!!
I love Magnolia trees, too.
Making the back into the entrance and front a private garden is great. Hm, Is this that house?. I think. ☺I've watched too many....
She seems like the kind of person who would have real absynthe and maybe midori on hand. :) 💚🌿
Her sense of humor in the Christmas shopping around that shop with the lambswool handmade small trees video is great.
Agreed! Nina is an inspiration!
More!!! Nina nailed that space. She's a gem.
She is!!
socharming and cozy.Adore the etched sliding pocket door.smust t be enchanting in the evening!
For sure, I can only imagine how cozy and relaxing it would be in the evening with candlelight inside and outside in the garden area. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this house. I'm ready to move in!!!! : )
Yes! Another video!!! Lovely home and fascinating owner. The home seems to have been so well thought out and planned. I just love it.
Something about that blue door. Mesmerizing.
I love the house, but I'm obsessed with Susanna's pants!!!
Lisa Gaither 🤣🤣🤣

Great ideas! I love the etched glass retractable doors!
Me too - aren't they fabulous?!

Thanks again for another wonderful tour. Such a warm and beautiful home. Love all the gardens and the sweet little dog.
Our pleasure!
Such a lovely home! All the right stuff in all the right places❤
Ok another video I will watch 1000 times. What is neat here is that someone on a very slim budget can achieve this look. The best decorators have inspiration even for the thrifty. Thank you again for such a great of a video.
LOL love your ambitious viewership! And couldn't agree more - lots of inspiration! Thank you!!
I loved this visit! So glad to see this appear. Re-binging these wonderful features keeps me sane in these dark times.
alannothnagle so glad!!! Take care
So happy to hear that!! 🙏🏻
Thank you for opening up your London home. It is exquisite and you shared some practical and beautiful decorating tips. Thank you for sharing!
We agree - Nina is so generous!
I was involved in a sad love affair which took all my attention and I did not see Quintessences for months and then youtube offered it to me again and it was like seeing an old friend again whom I suddenly realized I had been missing. It brought me back to the things I love...
We are so happy to have you back!! And glad we can provide some uplifting beauty to inspire!
If you ever get the chance to shoot in this house again, do more details. There's so much to see and learn here. Love it!
Will do!
+1
You all HAVE to have more than the footage you show! I'm for an extended reel!!
The presenter's trousers are nice, too
Yes! I would love to see more of the the kitchen!
Love that she doesn't need a huge place, it's cozy but large enough to entertain.
Exactly! Glad you enjoyed!
Enjoyed this charming little house in London with the glass sliding doors and all the greenery. Absolutely perfect!
Glad you enjoyed it
Beautiful... didn't understand when the video ended.. would love to see her kitchen n garden as well
waou. elegant, not too sophisticated. and so many different atmospheres. A lot of character.
1) That pup was napping, Ms Campbell! 2) But seriously, I love this, and it is an example of how you DON'T need a large space to decorate grandly and well. The mirrored built in is brilliant and I can imagine a part lit by candles, with the light bouncing back.
Exactly!! Glad you enjoyed!
Wow nice beautiful blog friend
What a dream box of inspriration! The world needs this right now. Thank you Nina for sharing w us your personal treasure of expressions! Thank you Susana & Team! I wish these videos were longer. I could binge forever xoxo
kinetic energy thank you so much for watching and stay tuned!!
Thank you - so glad you are enjoying , especially now! - Stacey (behind the camera)
What a lovely and cozy home! Do another shoot in the fall at this same home!
I don't think we'll be able to travel to Europe this fall but glad you enjoyed!
Measured the dog paws, awww...precious. Nina's understated, British eccentricity is reflected (quite literally) in this rather quirky and stylishly snug London home. The mirrors almost blend one space into the next, so that you don't notice any lack of it. I like the mix of traditional elegance with a kind of 1960s-70s retro feel. The etched, sliding glass screen is such a beautiful yet practical feature!
That magnolia tree outside is just so lovely. Liv Tyler's house has a similar tree that you can see from the room.
Thank you Quintessence! Always a treat when your video pops up. Loved Susannas London style ... Love that leather jacket printed pants combo!
flipthecoin888 Our pleasure!! Love to hear that and will let Susanna know you liked her look! ;-)
@@quintessenceblg Not many could carry off those "blue dutch" fabric design cigarette slacks so marvelously, Susanna!
@@theelizabethan1 It’s Stacey here (behind the camera and replies) but I agree and will let her know!
Wow what beauty 👍 love love your home ❤ thank you for sharing your beautiful video 👏😍
Beautiful, surprising, elegant and eclectic.
So lovely to see u again as always ♡♡♡
Must use the word “ravishing” more often. Love, love, love this home. The bar, bookshelves, lacquered ceiling, china hutch, glorious garden spaces, art work! Nina Campbell ROCKS! Thank you, Quintessence! ❤️
Roy Thompson She does indeed!! And our pleasure - so glad you enjoyed!!
A lovely respite from all the stress of life these days. Thank you. Just beautiful.
Loved the built in cupboard in the dinning room. Lovely. I will rem to use lacquer on low ceilings-great. And the magnolia tree....
My Reality 👍🏻👍🏻
Love the inspiration of the use of mirrors , nice video with lovely idea’s , thank you
You are so welcome! Glad you enjoyed!
love love that blue door. french blue i suppose wow you lost me at knock down the house. but love he garden
Fascinating lady. Her philosophy of life and design is definitely on point. Imagine living in a house she designed. Her daughter Rita is wonderful as well.❤
Oh, Nina’s petite garden home...in the middle of London! Swoon. (BTW, Suzanne, I’m rewatching all of Quintessence’s videos. Helping to make self-isolation bearable. Thank you for that.)
Tobey Travels our pleasure! So glad the series can be a kind of solace
So glad you enjoyed our visit with Nina and that the rest of the videos are helping in these trying times!!
Always a joy. Thank you.
Our pleasure!!
beautiful and she is a nice welcoming person!
Such a beautiful cottage. It's like s little piece of heaven. Absolutely love it!
I used to think that the sound quality in these videos needed to be improved upon but it lends each video a further layer of authenticity. You dont just see the house you hear it. You can hear if a room is large or small, cozy or open etc... Its great!
Well we also have a new microphone... but yes, we are looking for authenticity and personality over perfection!
Of all your videos this is my favourite. superb
Delighted to hear! Nina is the best!
The decor is EXQUISITE, the garden is so elegant.
Thanks *Quintessence*, love Nina's style and attention to detail for this house. It felt calm and peaceful
Our pleasure!
