The perfect companion for the iPhone 13 mini. Did what you suggested and had it on first thing in the morning when the phone was 100% and the battery pack was fully charged. Had a full day out and the battery pack only discharged at 10.30pm (13 hours later). My iPhone battery was still 90%! Absolutely impressed with this gadget and like you mentioned it is taking care of the battery rather than just charging constantly. Apple have done it again.
exactly, one less thing to worry about, balancing the phone charge "DONT GO BELOW 20% AND DONT GO ALL THE WAY TO 100%" Fearmongering we have probably all fretted about.
After getting so many “charging will resume when iPhone returns to normal temp.” alerts with my ESR HaloLock mini I picked up the Apple MagSafe battery pack. Zero regrets! Like most Apple things it just simply works. ESPECIALLY after updating it. Gives me enough juice when I need it. Glad to see you still getting the same usage after a year. Dope review as always bro 💪🏼 💪🏼
@@nikopaschali2609 battery extender that cost 3x as much for same functionality by other manufacturers with bigger battery? Like anker has a magsafe battery pack that's 5000mah for $49.
I miss the battery case with the bump that Apple had for older iPhones, mainly because it had a dedicated camera button. People hated the look; but it was actually comfortable to hold and provided all around protection for the phone.
i will die on this hill with you that case was a godsend. I remember when the next phone got released and they did a battery case it just wasnt the same thought. that first battery pack case was perfection
Perfect for a mini. Also super convenient to have as a wireless nightstand dock. If your phone is running low around the house, you can just use the pack and not be tethered to a wall
After watching a lot of reviews, this is the review that really hit the nail on the head. I used to think about battery packs in terms of maximum capacity, but your reasoning really made sense. Sold on it.
It’s truly by far the best battery pack for the iPhone. Others have proven good for me, but my go to after trying a few is fully the Apple MagSafe pack! Great video as always, and I still highly recommend this pack to EVERY iPhone owner and to use it properly as you noted!
I just picked one of these up for my 13 mini and am stoked to use it. I'm going to a music festival in May and I think this is the perfect use case for the product. I'll be out for 18+ hours per day in the sun and heat so i wanted something I could throw on in the morning and get me all the way through the after parties until 4 or 5am while not burning up my battery. Looks sleek af and the seamless integration is worth the price for me.
The con for this is that you have to pop it to your iPhone to check if battery is full or not or you can just pull off the lightning, if it’s green, means it’s 100% full, if it’s orange, it’s not 100% yet. They should add the tap function to see the light indicator just like AirPods pro.
I’ve had the Apple MagSafe battery pack for about a year and it’s a great charger. I used it all the time with my iPhone 12 mini it helped out on those long days. If the rumors are true about the iPhone switching to USB-C next year, that means they'd have to update the MagSafe Battery to also have a USB-C port. And if they give it a USB-C port capable of 18-20 Watt PD (Power Delivery) charging, then it would actually fast charge your phone with a USB-C to USB-C cable which would be even better if they can keep it a pocketable power bank
I think most of people who doesn’t like it are those who typically charge their Iphone to 100%. IPhones are not meant to be charge to 100% all the time because of the 500 battery cycle and that’s why this MagSafe charge does charge Iphone to 100% and to be honest it doesn’t have to. It definitely doesn’t warm my phone in anyway and I have been using it for about a month. I am happy I got this instead of the others ones on the marketing.
I haven’t used this method before. I always viewed it as something you use until you can get to a charger. It’s still my go-to battery pack though. I have one of the first Anker “MagSafe” battery packs which gets way too warm for my comfort.
I use this battery pack a lot and I use it to charge from around 52 up to 100 almost once a week while at work. This compared to the best anker the apple one is faster, slimmer, better magnets and is integrated into the ecosystem.
I picked the Apple MagSafe Battery pack up for my holiday and it didn’t let me down and the phone or battery didn’t get warm once and by the time the battery pack got drained my 12 Pro Max still had 90%

Now that they have discontinued the mini. They should definitely make a larger one (as this one was exact iphone mini width) with same thickness but bigger in all other directions. I would especially love if they make one for normal iphones & then one for plus & max iphones with even bigger size.
Yes! I was using this yesterday while taking pics & videos with my 13 Pro Max with just the camera app. I wasn't even posting them to Instagram & I was losing battery while seeing the charge indicator which makes no sense
As someone with an iPhone 13 mini with the MagSafe battery, I agree. But if they make a larger one, I do hope that this current one still stays available to purchase for those who still use the 12 mini and 13 mini. Yes I know the market share for people who have the minis is low, but Apple shouldn’t leave them hanging with no accessories… at least not until Apple officially discontinues and stops supporting and selling the 12 mini and 13 mini. It was very hard to find a decent case for my phone since many case companies just didn’t offer 12/13 mini cases.
I immediately went out and bought one after this video. The fact that I can plug in my iPhone and charge the phone and battery at the same time is the Number 1 Seller for me. I hate Ankers for 3 reasons, you need a whole different cord than the device it can charge, you need 2 cables because there is no pass through charging, and it destroys your battery with heat! I actually much prefer lightning because I only need 1 cord for my phone and it can also charge the pack.
Glad yours is still working. I have had mine for over a year(have barely used it) and after fully charging the pack it wont hold a charge for more than 24 hours.

Hey Tee, saw your vid couple months back. It really is a battery extender more than an external power bank. Bought it then, no regrets since. So thx for that 👍🏻
Great video. My only problem with the Apple version is that the iPhone battery can drain quickly while the battery pack can’t keep up. I was shocked when I was at a festival and my phone died while the battery pack stayed charged. It was nice being able to re-power a dead iPhone with it. I need to give Ankers product a shot

The Apple MagSafe battery pack is the best battery pack. I find myself using this battery pack over all the other ones I have. I have the updated Anker 622 and it stays relatively cool. I use it when I need the additional capacity the Apple just can’t deliver. I really wish Apple would release a larger capacity battery pack.
What is the overall life of this product? How does battries degrade overtime? Does apple show its battery health as well?? Will it still work as magsafe charger once battries completely degrade may be in 3 yrs???
thanks for helping me understand this lil amazing gadget, Tee! I knew there was something about this that seperates from other power banks, just wasnt sure how to go about it,as a new user to the iPhone world this seems like a must buy
You Got me excited I cpre ordered one before watching this video. I can not wait until it arrives. I am so glad I watched this I did not know that’s the original purpose. Thanks
Got an Anker MagSafe power bank (with the stand) for cheaper and bigger capacity. Works well for me. My friend has the Apple MagSafe power bank, and I prefer the feel of that and the animation.
I’ve had this since the 13 pro max dropped and i use it all the time , Whether it’s a plugged in charging pad or portable charger it’s an amazing apple product which I strongly believe is better than the competition
Question, I usually use mine when my phone gets low, I can usually get to 70% which is good but I never put it on while my phone is charged. Do you think that’ll keep it around 90% most of the day like yours?! Like your videos btw!
What do you think the Apple Magsafe battery vs Benks Magsaft bettery? I am currently using Benks and it is pretty much perfect and it does not heat up.
Great video following up on the Apple MagSafe battery pack. I use mine a fair bit and prefer it over the anker one with the stand. It works flawlessly and I find it lasts to the evening and then I pop it off and have 90ish percent to then get me through the evening/night. MagSafe is so handy as there aren’t any cables to deal with. Sometimes when I don’t want the bulk, I just leave this in my pocket and just pop it back on when I place my phone back in. It kinda lives in there so it’s working away in the background. It also came in real handy when I didn’t have charge on my AirPods, this gave me enough to keep me going throughout the day
I had the Anker battery pack on my iPhone 13 Pro and it ruined my phone. The battery expanded and popped open my phone. Just a fyi anyone using it or going the cheap route. Think it was overpowering for the phone.
So basically you put this on and it maintains your battery. It’s not necessarily meant to go on when your phone is almost dead and you need to charge it back up to a usable percentage. Right?
Another spot on review! I use this on days when Im in a lot of meetings or traveling. Put it on in the morning and it works great. I prefer to have this capability as opposed to looking for a place to plug in my phone when with clients. Great video.
I love my Apple MagSafe battery pack better than the others that heats up my phone. With the Apple MagSafe battery I don’t have this problem. It charges 13 pro max from 20% to 90 with juice left over for my AirPods if needed.
Great video, Apple knows what they are doing when they design accessories for their products. Where did you get that case you had on the phone in the video?
Tee I need your help. MagSafe battery pack shows as 0% even though it’s charged I recently bought it but after not using it after some days even though it’s fully charged when I connect it to my phone it shows 0%. If I plug a lightning cable in it it suddenly wakes up and shows the real percentage and works just fine. Is this normal? Should it be replaced? Isn’t the whole purpose not to have a lightning cable to wake it up?
I have watched many reviews of this product and I can say you have explained it better than all of them combined. It makes more sense now to put it on at the beginning than waiting for the phone to get low on a battery charge. Exactly correct, it is designed to be a battery extender and not so much as an actual battery pack. Since it works with iOS it works as though the battery and an extension of that battery are one instead of just a power source. That's my take on what you have taught me. Thank you very much.
Great video bro! Love the way how you explain things! Was thinking whether I should buy it for my 13 or not but your points convinced me to finally get one 😊
Was looking at battery pack and your content shows up and clear my thoughts for it. And yes you make it even better with details explanation for iphone user. Thumbs up man. Already subscribe to your channel for more coming video. Thank again my friend.
I LOVED my MagSafe battery pack until about 9 months ago. It worked beautifully and gave me all the battery life I could possibly need for a day on my 12 mini charging to 90%. But something changed 9 months ago and if I leave the pack on my phone all the time and plug up a charger to charge both batteries, when I unplug it the battery pack automatically charges to 100% even though it’s not set to do so in the low power settings. This wastes a lot of power and reduces my battery life. I have tried it on my new 14 Pro with the same result. I have not found a workaround other than to remove the battery from the phone and reattach it, which is annoying as many times as I plug my phone in for things like Apple CarPlay. I even got a warranty replacement from Apple and it does the same thing. Has anyone else experienced this and found a solution?
I think that with this product you have to use it when you don’t use your phone. For instance let’s say you have 69% on your iPhone. If you need a lot of battery for the rest of the day make sure to « connect it » to your phone while not using it. Because if you do the opposite sometimes the battery will just not charge the phone or make it hot. That is with my 13 Pro Max. I love the concept of being able to « quickly remove it » after use. But man Apple battery smart cases (I had one with XS Max) just worked better. It was like always there. You had to care less about it than MagSafe battery pack. Even though I am sure it’s this product that made my XS Max went to 88% and it would randomly crash or power off.
Purchased one, because I was so sick of dealing dying battery and dealing with cables and like it or not I feel Apple accessories are best used with Apple products.Just a suggestion for those who need more power back up kingsons solar backpack love mine and yes it charges my iPad and powerbank via solar power integration solar panel
holy, all i know is that when your battery is 0% they can only charge to 50-60% while itll be great if it can reach to 100% but i never knew that was the intention, pretty cool how u use it inte morning until 6 pm it’s still at 90 while my phone dies at 5 i really need this cause this
Hey would you be able to check and see if the Apple MagSafe battery pack connects without any issues for the 14 pro rhinoshield MagSafe cases? Deciding whether to get it if it sits flush and doesn’t have issues with the camera bump.
Hey! When do you think the new version of it could be released? And could you plz advise any website for Black Friday or Christmas offer on this product in the US?
Im planning on having one of these batteries connected to my phone at all times and only actually have the battery pack on and charging when my phone is low (Kinda like those charging cases with the button on the pack to determine wether it's on or off) which one of these would work for me?
A friend gave me one that he wasnt using. NGL I like it. My 13 Pro Max can get 3 days of use and around 18-20 hours of screen on time if I use it. Recently found a really dope 4 in one charger on Aliexpress. It has a cradle for the Apple Magsafe Battery pack so it can charge the battery pack while it holds the phone and charges it. Also charges my watch and wireless buds. Was only $25 but gave the battery pack a dual purpose. I can leave it on there was a Magsafe mount/charger or take it with me when I wont be able to charge for a day or two.

Excellent video man… I have the Belkin kickstand “ring” holder I bought from the Apple Store when I got my 13 mini. It would be nice if it would attach magnetically to the back of the charger or if the MagSafe charger had a kickstand and ring(finger slot/holder) actually as a part of it. If Apple upgraded the MagSafe charger to have the kickstand and finger holder ring, it’d be a real GAME CHANGER huh?

thanks for helping me understand this lil amazing gadget, Tee!
Thanks
O yeah for sure once you understand the way it works you can appreciate it better.
I just know dog house clean Af 😂 and he be the one cleaning it,… Great Content always get to the details
Dog house? Lol.
Got an Anker MagSafe power bank (with the stand) for cheaper and bigger capacity. Works well for me. My friend has the Apple MagSafe power bank, and I prefer the feel of that and the animation.
I’ve had this since the 13 pro max dropped and i use it all the time ,
Whether it’s a plugged in charging pad or portable charger it’s an amazing apple product which I strongly believe is better than the competition
I bought this one immediately after watching your review. I slapped it on iPhone 14pro. It’s cool and handy. Cheers bruh!
Think it was overpowering for the phone.
i just bought one because of your review... thank bro! you are the best!
from Malaysia
Thanks much appreciated!!💪🏽💪🏽
Awesome review! This is the first review I’ve seen of yours and I’m really impressed. I have subscribed, and I’m looking forward to seeing other ones!
Instantly subscribed!! Wonderfully explained!!
Thanks much appreciated! 💪🏽💪🏽
So basically you put this on and it maintains your battery. It’s not necessarily meant to go on when your phone is almost dead and you need to charge it back up to a usable percentage. Right?
Is it worth it for 13pro max??
Not sure if to buy Apple battery pack or the belkin…
Another spot on review! I use this on days when Im in a lot of meetings or traveling. Put it on in the morning and it works great. I prefer to have this capability as opposed to looking for a place to plug in my phone when with clients. Great video.
Do you recommend getting refurbished on Groupon for $50 or spend the extra money to get it for $70 at Walmart?
I love my MagSafe battery pack , best one for my iPhone mini 13 hands down best one for iPhone ❤
Been using mine for a couple of months as a nightstand charger , plugged in 24/7
Haven’t had any problems
I love my Apple MagSafe battery pack better than the others that heats up my phone. With the Apple MagSafe battery I don’t have this problem. It charges 13 pro max from 20% to 90 with juice left over for my AirPods if needed.
Great video, Apple knows what they are doing when they design accessories for their products. Where did you get that case you had on the phone in the video?
Tee I need your help.
MagSafe battery pack shows as 0% even though it’s charged
I recently bought it but after not using it after some days even though it’s fully charged when I connect it to my phone it shows 0%. If I plug a lightning cable in it it suddenly wakes up and shows the real percentage and works just fine. Is this normal? Should it be replaced? Isn’t the whole purpose not to have a lightning cable to wake it up?
I was about to buy the anker 621 but you convinced me to buy the Apple MagSafe battery
Wow I had no idea!!! I’ve been using all wrong lol. I only put it on when I get low on battery. Great video brother 😊
Thanks much appreciated!
I just got a MagSafe today. I’m starting to like it.
What’s your cycle count and health now after doing this?
Does it only charge wireless? Or can i connect a usb c cable from the battery pack to the iPhone itself?
Great video mines coming Wednesday. Looking forward to it.
💯 % I had the same experience. It just works and is best integrated into the ecosystem.
Just bought the Baseus 6000 mah 20w MagSafe battery. It fits perfectly on the back of a case on the iPhone 14 pro.
Best apple battery MagSafe review I’ve seen, and I’ve watched a lot. Thanks.
So it’s basically like the iPhone battery case I use to love that one
Purchased one, because I was so sick of dealing dying battery and dealing with cables and like it or not I feel Apple accessories are best used with Apple products.Just a suggestion for those who need more power back up kingsons solar backpack love mine and yes it charges my iPad and powerbank via solar power integration solar panel
holy, all i know is that when your battery is 0% they can only charge to 50-60% while itll be great if it can reach to 100% but i never knew that was the intention, pretty cool how u use it inte morning until 6 pm it’s still at 90 while my phone dies at 5 i really need this cause this
Is ur apple battery pack hot while charging ur iphone? Cuz mine is abnormally hot
Hey would you be able to check and see if the Apple MagSafe battery pack connects without any issues for the 14 pro rhinoshield MagSafe cases? Deciding whether to get it if it sits flush and doesn’t have issues with the camera bump.
Nicely done! And wow, didn’t know this.
I bought it last week & it’s awesome. Verizon had it for $75. Went traveling this weekend & got to use my phone ALL day w/o worrying
Did you buy it online or inside the store
I just got it from Verizon too thanks to your comment. 👌
I got it for this same price nearly a year ago. Still can say it’s an amazing battery pack
@@King_bigelo I bought it online and did same-day store pickup
@@koolkat214 glad I could help! I love deals 😂
Can I use it for heavy gaming?
This isn’t meant for heavy gaming. Might want to get you something with more capacity.
Will this battery fit my magsafe case for my S23ultra??
A friend gave me one that he wasnt using. NGL I like it. My 13 Pro Max can get 3 days of use and around 18-20 hours of screen on time if I use it. Recently found a really dope 4 in one charger on Aliexpress. It has a cradle for the Apple Magsafe Battery pack so it can charge the battery pack while it holds the phone and charges it. Also charges my watch and wireless buds. Was only $25 but gave the battery pack a dual purpose. I can leave it on there was a Magsafe mount/charger or take it with me when I wont be able to charge for a day or two.
@@tyblackwood This is the title for it "6in1 Magnetic Wireless Charger for Iphone 12 13 14 Pro Max Airpods Alarm Clock 15W Fast Apple Watch Stand Mobile Phone Mag Safe"
Your solution does sound pretty dope though. Way to innovate 👏
When is it safe for my battery to attatch the Magsafe battery pack? Is it at 80%? 40%? 20%?
Thank you very much!!
Exactly the review with the use case I was looking for. 🙏💪
Strangely i have battery packs with 5000mah (anker) which is more than tripple than the magsafe, yet it has barely double the capacity
I’m glad to hear this since I just got one.😅
Good stuff
Teee I’m after a aramid fibre (carbon fibre look) 14 pro max case with strongest MagSafe magnets… and you can recommend please?
So many people use this wrong I have the apple MagSafe battery pack, esr halo lock and a anker 632 but for daily usage it’s got to be the apple MagSafe battery pack for me
Can I ask why you have all 3? We are going travelling and I want a battery pack form my 14 Pro Max whilst we are on the beach all day. I’m considering the Anker 633 and the Apple MagSafe .. what do you suggest?
Thanks for the video . I am definitely going to buy one . I have the zerolemon one and it gets really hot and it doesnt charge my apple watch like it say it will
Yeah those do fairly good for just applying power but if I’m keeping my iPhone for a full year I want to keep my battery health the best I can.
Do you know if there’s any plans for a new version of this device?
I bought new magsafe battery pack but it is heating while charging iphone14. Can you help on this? What to do?
Dope review as always! Totally agree with you.
Thanks much appreciated! 💪🏽💪🏽
Awesome video u explained it perfectly
Excellent video man…
I have the Belkin kickstand “ring” holder I bought from the Apple Store when I got my 13 mini.
What case are you rocking?
Very informative video. Thank you.
Hey I recently just got one and I noticed that the battery pack dies fast and gets warm should i be concerned?
Check your battery health percentage
Thanks for sharing…I just got to the video. Blessings on your day 💪🏻
