Very cool to see Mary talking so enthusiastically about this album. Although some aspects in the interviews were a little exaggerated (she had videos for "Ooh Child" and "One Night with You" before "Walk the Line," and had also been in a studio several times during the '80s for her single releases "Don't Get Mad, Get Even" and "Ooh Child," as well as the unreleased "My Love Life Is a Disaster"), you can tell she felt very good about the results. I purchased the CD when it came out, and was bummed to learn later on that the label folded so quickly afterwards.
I'd never seen any of this footage except the music video of course. This must have been particularly exciting for Mary's fans, seeing her promoting her own solo project on so many shows. Besides these shows, she also performed on "Showtime at the Apollo" and "The Arsenio Hall Show." Meanwhile, her single "One Night with You" also had its own music video.
Happy 2024. Mary was able to gain control and ownership of the master recordings of the album and she sold them at her concert and on her website under the title I Am Changing with 2 additional songs

Love her. Just wish someone had given her a breakout song to showcase her talents. Oooh Mary you don't plug another show while doing an interview on a another program. While not direct competitors it just isn't done. 4:40 I mean this was a pretty big deal for her to be on GMA which was number 1 at the time. I've been in the TV/PR business and I just died when I heard her plug her Arsenio appearance. Nice recovery Charlie.

The label folded the day after it was released! What a shame because it was a solid album!!

Walk The Line is such a fantastic song and the album was great too. Shame it isn't getting an expanded reissue like her first album.
