Your right Scott Taylor But let's give Ms Wilson her credit for keeping the Supremes Legacy alive. No one else did Not Motown. She let the name Supreme work in her favor That is the mind of a smart business woman
She spent to much of her career trying to be a pop singer and doing Supremes tribute songs when she should have been studying jazz... she could have been the next a modern day Nancy wilson
I agree, either that or she could've just wrote books and made a name for herself that way. I think she let her bad memories of Diana Ross consume her and rob her of the success she probably could've had. I mean, she spent years talking about the Supremes and Diana Ross on interviews and talk shows. It's like she just couldn't let it go. I wish she would've just moved on with her life. It's almost like she was waiting to receive an apology for something which was probably never going to happen. I feel bad she died holding on to all of that resentment.
@@skip031890 Well to be honest Berry Gordy couldn't have sold any records of this song. Mary should have studied and worked on her voice....she was really just a PRETTY back up singer.,and that's sad. She should have gone into the acting side of the business.
Poor Mary Wilson - died with a bad attitude! Instead of being happy for Diana's Ross and her solo success - she was jealous - and that jealousy cost her a lot!
not jealous, jealousy implies hate .mary like a lot of those guys in groups such as the Beatles and rolling stones and beach boys resented how the lead singers were given special privileges' and special financial deals often behind their backs. they didnt hate them they just found out the hard way that starting out together means nothing in show business. Its how you end up that counts and what pays the bills.
Mary nevertheless did go on to do some very good and noteworthy things in life not necessarily connected to her musical career. Hers indeed was a life well lived!!! Way to go Mary👍👍👍
This is still one Beautiful lady so glad she is still singing today and jazz is her strong point.

That is so very true, her voice was not made for pop. She had a great voice for Jazz/little soul .
