I’m mostly interested in how they hold up since I put over 100k miles per year. Reducing brake dust would be nice, but not at the expense of performance or longevity.
I’ll break 80,000 tomorrow morning and I’m thinking I’ll probably get to 120-130k before the fronts need changed. I was over 150k on my 2017 before they needed new pads, so the adaptive cruise is definitely wearing brakes faster than without it.
@markcall6799 The kit part number has all front and rear. Mud grapps are 3850 rated at 65 psi. I run 60 rear and 55 front. They expand 5 psi in about 20 mins.. never had an issue. That’s towing pressures
I did upgrade to Powerstop pads and have the stock rotors with 30k miles on my SD but I can tell it’s a big difference and not so much brake dust like the OEM crap, that bedding process it’s really important
Thank you for the video. I have a Chevy and ford both has 3/4 ton trucks. I tow heavy daily with. Looking for better than factory brake performance. For the sudden stopping with a heavy load. I notice it’s been awhile since you made this video. Any more follow up after having them for awhile? Especially compared to factory performance?
@@aaronhoughtaling6829 They were a little better than stock in my opinion for braking. I would prob just do the pads and not rotors if doing it again. The best outcome was no more brake dust..
@@RockyRohde gotcha. I appreciate the reply. Especially so fast. I’m actually considering trading a truck for something heavier with better stopping power. It’s when the trailer brakes cut out from a wire fault or something silly that scares me. I’ve been pushing the limits for a few years. I scale 26klbs at the dump sometimes… just trying to explore any options of helping my current trucks before spending the big bucks…
I pull a 43’ toy hauler and I was never comfortable with stopping until I installed disc brakes on trailer.. Now the trailer stops the truck. I have a video on my channel just search for deemax.
@@RockyRohde I’ll have to check that out. I have 2 16ft dump trailers. One’s a triple axle. They’re not overly big. But they’re heavy even empty. Being it’s like 2 stout trailers stacked on top of itself. I hoped the triple axle would do well giving me an extra axle with an extra brake. But it seems to often have a short in brake wiring. It’s not bad when hauling off trees or mulch. But regularly haul concrete from tear outs or rock into jobs. Definitely adds up fast
I’m wondering if you would have similar results with only changing the pads. I have a 24 Limited with 1,500 miles and already the brake dust is unbearable. BTW and based on your recommendation I will leveling and adding 37x12.50 and 1” Boras. Great content for us super duty folks. Thanks!
Ive had them on 3-4 different f250/350. Love em. Good service life.

Time will tell.. I have noticed a lot of 23’s already replacing stock pads…

So you bought the pads and the rotors together? Also what tire pressures do you run front and rear when towing VS not towing?

did you have to replace the calipers .if not what was the code for you truck i have the same truck
No just replaced pads and rotors. Just purchased for a 22 model on the site. The 22 is the same parts

You can try the pads first see how it does. The kit is cheaper with rotors is the downside..
What part number did you order? Had them on my 2020 250 and loved them, my 2024 350 single goes to build on 4/8…..hopefully
Just entered f350 SRW on the power stop site. I had to use a 22 model on menu.
Got it, thanks
What do you do for work?
Checked out link… not offered for ‘24 F450
I have them on my Jeep running 37’s and stopping is great but dust is horrible.
