When Indian can build nuclear submarine but not diesels submarines still not able to understand
Why not only build nuclear? USA only has nuclear subs. Build underwater drones to take care of the job of diesel subs. Don't have to remain stuck in stone age methods.
Those are ssbn which we are building & not ssn. These diesel submarines they are talking about is with AIP system.
chandigarh lobby + congress is the reason
Very well researched video sir, history of submarine manufacturing is covered well

MDL making an Indigenoue SUBMARINE is a Great news !!!
We should have a fleet of 55 SSKs.

The news that DRDO taking up the program, is sending chills to china 😂
India had a complete ToT from HDW Germany, Navy should have seriously followed it up, like the S.Koreans.
Why can’t the scorpene class be enlarged instead of bringing another type? What happened to drdo’s aip technology which was built with a lot of fanfare. Why can’t we build 6 more scorpenes with drdo aip ( along with the planned 3 more )?. Why go in for another design which will mean less standardization and more costs?
The IN should seriously consider building domestic only submarines from now on, and I question the need for imports. It is fact that Bharat has all the tech required for
fuel cell subs with lithium ion batteries.
Fuel cells - ISRO/DRDO developed
Lithium ion batteries - any number of domestic startups. Bhavish Aggarwal, CEO of India's leading electric two-wheeler, Ola Electric, earlier this month announced that the Ola giga factory in Krishnagiri district, Tamil Nadu, will be operational by February 2024 -- producing the country's first lithium-ion battery cells.
Steel - The Shivalik class is seen as a turning point in ship-making as India started using its own steel, the DMR 249A. From then onwards, warships use the same steel. Before the DMR 249A, Bharat had been importing steel from Russia. Now SAIL, Jindal and Essar make it. DRDO developed DMR‐249B steel back in 2013, but unclear if any desi steel companies currently make it?
Already has nuclear sub tech and ToT for conventional subs. I question the claim of lack of sub design expertise. If a country can build nuclear subs and underwater drones,
both of which Bharat can do, a conventional sub is far far easier!!!!
Did you like Japanies super bikes ?
If India can partner with Russia to manufacture nuclear submarines, may be it will be cost effective but it will be with advance technology.
THERE IS QUIET REVOLUTION GOING ON IN THE WORLD. BRICS IS GETTING VERY POWERFUL.
The design of the midget submarine is not visually appealing.
