I need some stats about the Polkadot Blockchain and how you find it. 1. Transactions/Second 2. Users on the Network 3. Wallets holding the Token 4. Data Used Per Year (In Bytes) 5. Blockchain/Network Size
The problem i see with this; validators who can place 1000 DOT of their own, most likely purchased DOT at $5. How can one compete with 10 to be elected. And, if a validator is attacked, are THEY the validator responsible and subject to slashing?
@@schilll Technically speaking, that may be true, but the smallest current DOT validator is staking just over 2.2 million DOT. So unless you can top that personally or with nominators, you ain't gonna be selected. polkadot.polkastats.io/validators/
I think $KSM is almost done for it's correction I can see that around $38 based on 4 hour chart on #MXC_Exchange. Time to accumulate, let's fill our bags guys!
understand? what a confusing bunch of words and illustrations a builder leaves a 1000 dollar deposit to do a kitchen addition? to make 200? in what universe is this a reality? you may know your geekdom, yet for sure you have never built anything as a contractor. hahaha! couldn't listen to the rest, you had me disinterested from the beginning of your analogy!! hahaha, have a good confused day!
You leave 1000 dollars as an insurance to earn 200, that's right. But after the work, you get back yours 1000 dollars if you did your work properly, having in total 1200 dollars and not 200. Maybe the one confused is you, because in a lot of real life scenarios this happen.

Hello..guys accumulated $DOT below $200? I have accumulated mine I think $DOT (IOU) might hit $400 any time soon it's currently listed on #MXC_Exchange!!
Highly appreciate this video…I really learned a lot in the very easy to understand breakdown. Thank you!

Very good content. Thank you
Is there any tutorial to configure a KSM validator ?
instablaster
This guy has definitely never worked in construction
So true 🤣
Um, so what?
What is the minimum stake required for your Polkadot validator to be selected as? Thanks
More than the current smallest validator, which at this time is over 2.2 million DOT. polkadot.polkastats.io/validators/
Seems like you have to be in the top 180 to be have a worth while investment
How do I change validators I’m in chill mode for some reason
So basically what you are saying is that we shouldn't become a validator because its impossibly expensive and unnecessarily risky. gotcha
No that's a bad summary of this video.
how many coins do u need to be a validator
350 according to stakingrewards.com, not sure if its accurate

You have to be a white billionaire born as the child of a Goldman Sachs executive or a Trump
@@ogcontraband 💀🤣🤣🤣🤣 facts my black ass imma just keep staking them one by one
@@ogcontraband So sad 😞
So when I am stopping this, can I get the deposit back?
The guy obviously never tried to contract someone to build/fix his kitchen.
how much can I earn by running a node with 400 DOT staked?? Ia there any way to estimate this?
no - because there is so much factors in this
Did you just spread Switzerland energy FUD? How low of you
POS is great for exchanges and wallet companies. They will dominate all networks.
Can I be a validation?
Only if you can set a node up. Gotta do it yourself.
Settlers of Catan 🙃

Douglas, your arrogance/ignorance is hilarious. Thanks for leaving DOT & KSM on the table for the rest of us.
