DIY SLIP DRESS - Stretch Knit Slip + PDF Sewing Pattern

Today in this video, I’ll show you how to easily and quickly sew this comfortable slip.

The materials you’ll need for this top are:
- 0.8-1.5 m or 0.9-1.65 yds of stretch knit fabric
- Fold-over elastic 3 m x 1-1.5 cm (5/8” wide)
- Bias-making tool to make your own binding
- machine needle for knit fabric, such as ballpoint, jersey, stretch
- matching thread
- glasshead pins
- scissors
- measurement tape
- Dolly pattern
This pattern is only made for light to medium weight stretch fabric - at least 5% elastane is recommended.
This would be something like a French Terry, Rayon or Cotton Jersey, Double Brushed Poly, Rayon or Bamboo Modal, or a Ribbed Knit. In this tutorial I’ll be using a Rayon Jersey.

You can use the zigzag stitch on a normal machine but it's can't do what a serger can do sadly 😢
