I hated Requiem at first, but tbh this is what I've preferred to instead of using Requiem lite: -Go to experience in MCM and raise killing multiplier to 5x, and then turn it down to x2.5 at level 10, and back to 1 or w/e you feel comfortable with at level 15. -Go to requiem and keep damage given the same but turn damage received down to like 50% until level 10, and then turn it to 75% taken until level 15 at which point you put it to normal again. -Cheat spawn in either a backpack and/or a bag of holding so that you're not over encumbered almost instantly early game. -Buy camping supplies asap, you will need them to avoid having death send you super far back and for easy access to putting your level up. Requiem is fine once you get to level 15, but before that you can't kill like anything and there is nothing to actually put your level up- and if you focus on non killing tasks you end up having to put SP into things like picking locks and such and it just makes the game when you do have to kill near impossible. This made things a lot more fun for me personally. There is an alternative, I think in Dragonsreach or somewhere is a book that will just auto level you to like 15 or something; the MO put it there because early early game is just too rough for most folks. Just what I would NOT do; is pass on using Lorerim entirely out of fear of Requiem or the initial difficulty of requiem. Seriously the Modlist is AMAZING and it's worth adjusting to Requiem.

That is a solid criticism. It does seem to be too lush for Skyrim's original climate. Nolvus I think does a better job keeping the atmosphere of Skyrim more accurate.

Thanks for this video. Does this modlist feel too much like an ARPG? Or would you say it still feels like 'core' Skyrim? like a true elder scrolls game?
I would still consider this to feel like core Skyrim. Even though some perks have changed most of the mods in this pack are visual and quality of life type mods. You can still play Skyrim just how it was intended to be originally played.
with it being so cpu bound, maybe use puredark's upscaling/frame generation. frame generation will help the cpu out and allow the gpu to be used more. The gpu should be close to always at 99-100 percent. thats showing a clear cpu bottleneck. Skyrim doesnt utilize all cpu cores properly and when a lot of "clutter" is added through mods, the cpu suffers
What's interesting is my CPU hovers around 15-25% usage at all times while my graphics card is 90-100%. Im assuming the CPU usage is just because Skyrim like you said is not using all the available cores. I will probably give PureDarks upscaling a try however I have an opportunity to get a 9800x3d at my local MicroCenter so was considering upgrading.
Great question and I'm honestly not really sure. My last gaming PC had a 2060 in it so the 4080 was a massive upgrade from that. You could try to install it and just see how it runs. That does not look like cold climate mountain water, sorry. Anyone who has been to these places will know the water is not green like that. This new water is like what you would find in the Amazon or parts of the Southern US, where the warmer climate allows algae and other life to flourish. Clearly this was chosen by someone who doesn't spend much time outdoors.
What? Your wrong I live up north in the cold mountains and the water is murky/cloudy almost always. It looked good in 2.2 but more like tropical water. Sorry bud but your flat out wrong.
The irony is that I grew up in a cold climate and that's how water looked. I now live in Florida and the water is the complete opposite of what is show here. I spend a ton of time outdoors, especially fishing. Florida water is extremely dark. Northern water is blue/green and often gets muddy during rain.
@@biggie_boss All the water I have seen in cold, mountainous regions or northern lakes is dark and clear--so clear I can see to the bottom. Some will even have nifty algae blooms. Mountain lakes, wherever I have been in the continental US, have also been quite cold(freezing) and near black on the surface. Whereabouts did you see greenish water in a cold climate, I am curious? You are right about some of the swamp water in florida or along the coast, but that is normally brackish water with higher salinity. Get further inland, or up into Georgia, etc., and you get muddy brown water, or greenish during the summertime--until you head into the cold mountainous runoff regions.
@@jmangames5562 Well then tell my eyes that, because they normally don't fool me and I've spent a huge amount of time outdoors. Typically you need warmth to spawn biotic growth in the water.

Same here. Im at the point where Ill just be buying annual. Of coarse I plan on doing many modlist showcases in the future for the channel so it will be worth it.
LoreRim is just too offputting for me. This dude releases a major update every single month. Yet look at packs like Nolvus, where it takes like a year for that to happen. Makes it very suspicious for me that Biggie just throws random mods together, fixes a few things and that's it. No particular sense or much custom patching done. Dude is weird anyway. Receives any sort of negative critics and announces that he will stop putting out content lol.
Thats with the download. Still pretty large but its about 300gb after install. Reason being is Wabbajack has to download and extract those mods. Some people delete the download location once complete however I keep mine so that the process is quicker if another modlist uses the same mod it doesnt have to download it again.

Looks awsome so far, trying out 3.0 myself and one thing bothered me, the sword on the back, is there a way to change the location of the equiped weapon?
Im sure there is a way to change it but you would have to ask Biggie the modlist author. Or get help in their discord. I like it personally with my out of place katana 😂
Really good modpack just wish there was seasons of skyrim on this one.
You could probably add it to the load order!
Where do I pick up the main quest? In whiterun?
Go talk to the Jarl at the keep.
Would recommend PureDark's graphical implementation mods. Get modern supersampling and frame gen to help with fps.
I will for sure be trying that out! Thanks for the recommendation.
@@circuitscore One more thing, the good stuff is paywalled but it's cheap. $5 I think? And then as far as I'm concerned you got it forever, you can just unsub from his patreon...or at least till you need a bigger update, which doesn't really matter much unless you need this in a newer game that for some reason does not have it implemented.
I like you thinking! I did the same thing with EmuDeck for my ROG Ally. The windows version cost a patreon subscription. Got the build and then just canceled it. Only resub if I need a major update.
Do you think can i pair this modlist and Skyrim Together to play it with a friend of mine?
I highly doubt it. Lorerim is a VERY HEAVY modlist. You will need to play Skyrim Together with a minimal amount of script based mods which Lorerim unfortunately has a lot of.
9700X and 4080S here. About the same FPS for me at 4k. Only way I've been able to get a fairly steady 4k60 is upscaling from 1080p using nvidia image scaling on the Normal preset.
Interesting. Yeah I'm probably going to have to either upscale or mess around with custom DLSS mods.
the only bit of turn off for me is how lush of flora in skyrim this modlist make. Alot of modders seems to forgot that skyrim is a really cold tundra and putting a rainforest in it doesnt make sense. Still this is a really great modlist and hoping i can try it one day.
That is a solid criticism. It does seem to be too lush for Skyrim's original climate. Nolvus I think does a better job keeping the atmosphere of Skyrim more accurate.
try vramr for optimizing the textures.. give your huge performance boost
Vramr is useless on Lorerim since the textures auto downgrade the further you are from the object while playing it. Youll possibly even break your game... this was aid by Biggie himself during his stream. Gotto love people advising stuff they know jack about.... hope noone listenes to you and i could save them from this misinformation....
@@RidoDragobiggie recommends VRAMR in some cases on his latest stream lol
@@RidoDrago I literally use VRAMr in the latest patch, runs so much smoother. What are you on about???
@@Xorias. are you blind or cant you read what ive said. Im not going to repeat myself. Watch Biggie (the creator) comment about vramr on Lorerim 3.0 in the last video before making it public. Its an hour long but vramr comes up in the first 20. Ask him whats he on about then
@@GrappeKoolaid read my comment to Xorias
What frames can i expect on my 3070, r5600x, 16gb ram, nvme ssd on 1440p res?
Great question and I'm honestly not really sure. My last gaming PC had a 2060 in it so the 4080 was a massive upgrade from that. You could try to install it and just see how it runs. There are 3 different profiles you can use in Mod Manager 2. Ultra Normal and Performance. The recommended specs for 1080p is a 3060 from their Read Me wiki page.
@circuitscore yeah I'll give it a try, about to finish my current run of the game
This is awesome, the game look like a new game! Skyrim is a game that i love and never get tired of playing, but i've never played it with mods. When i see these videos i get really excited to play the game again!
At 20:00 there were no constellations because the weather was cloudy and that was amazing! I love this kind of detail, it make the game more imersive!
If I install this set of mods, can i play the campaign normally, from the original starting point of the game and its missions?
I know right! Lately Ive been doing Starfield content but going back to Skyrim is a breath of fresh air. It such an amazing game in comparison and these mod overhauls really make you go Holy Sh*t this looks so good!
You will still have to pick your starting point but if you are familiar with Skryim you can go to Riverwood and start the first quest normally and go from there.
This looks awesome. 👌
I know right. Looks amazing!
just install the upscaler testbuild or the paid one that should help your fps just disable in dispaly tweaks borderless upscale
I'll check it out. Are you talking about the upscaler application in Steam?
Hey, great video. I'm interested in playing, what are the specs of your pc? I've a gtx 1070, i7 6500k, and the only storage I've space on is a HDD; way laggy to run this.
Lorerim is almost unplayable on a HHD I have a pretty decent rig and I get about 70-80fps on 1440p
Read the description
@@theiconimage7200 how decent you talkin? I game at 21:9 1440p and have a 3070ti was wondering how this might run
If you get a 1080 and a 600 GB SSD, you'll be good to play the game in performance mode
@killerskiely100 Thank you! I'm running a AMD 7900x3D, Nvidia 4080 Super, 32GB RAM and SATA SSD for the modlist install.
Damn, wish I could play but my gtx 1660 super and to little of storage doesn't let me lol
Time for an upgrade! ;)
Easily can upgrade to 4060 and play with upscaling. Get a decent HDD with 1TB memory and you're good to go!
I have the exact same specs as you in terms of CPU and GPU also on 4k and im pulling 80fps in whiterun
Huh that is interesting. I wonder if I have too many background processes running on my PC.
@@circuitscore nevermind i loaded 3.0 and im getting similar fps to you which was less than 2.0 by a margin. Seems to be fluctuating alot.
One thing that did help with the stuttering is I changed to a NVME SSD. Night and day difference.
for me this mod list crashes all the time im using nvidea rtx 4070 ti super
That's odd. Never had a crash except for the bug where you open a map in a home but I believe that's already been patched.
low vegetation and geometrics with 7800X3D + 4080S = 30-50 fps
lol
Its a 7900x3D but your right Id still expect higher frame rates than what Im getting.
@@circuitscore You can try The Last Dark/OmenRim/TrueAE and compare the performance and quantity/quality of grass, bushes, trees and additional decorations in openworld.
5600+6700xt (1080p) work fine with this
I will check those out!
will this work on Skyrim VR?
No this is only for Skyrim AE standard version
@ but the mods for se works on vr so is there maybe something similar to this on vr?
I'm don't have VR but I'm sure there is a modlist out there for the VR version. I don't think there is a LoreRim version though.
@@circuitscore yeah your probably right
Those hitches are roooough
Getting an NVME drive this week. Hopefully that will fix the stutter!
Dis shit is crazy 🔥🔥
I know right!? Its a great modlist.
Will a 3050 be acceptable for this?
Reading the recommended specs for 1080p on their wiki page they recommend a 3060 or higher. A 3050 might work but you probably will be under 60fps. There is a performance profile you should enable in Mod Organizer 2.
@circuitscore I mean, as long as it is playable, I'm OK with it
Also, if I remember correctly, Biggie recommended an app on Steam that unlocks some fps
Looks great, you may be short on RAM for a more consistent experience though.
you can see he isnt hitting the limit though. Although i dont know if thats even usage or allocated memory. Eitherway 32 gb is enough
@@Crazzzycarrot-qo5wr its the total problably. However, Windows doesnt feel all that well reaching the high 80s in RAM usage. I would never build a computer today with less than 64GB, not necessarily because I need 64GB but because I need more than 32GB.
@@danielberma for gaming, going above 32 is pointless. Unless you have every application running in the background as well. 32gb is enough for basically any game, even modded, with plenty of stuff in the background. No need to pay for something if you wont even use it.
@@Crazzzycarrot-qo5wr thats the beauty of PC's, it can do multiple things. Otherwise get an Xbox or Playstation. Besides, even games will start to require more RAM, where Flight Simulator has a 64GB as recommendation. Again, not necessarily because it will use 64GB but use more than 32. I am fairly convinced that its lack of RAM that makes the experience lacking, would be interesting to see the same setup with 64GB and see if the usage doesnt crawl above 32-34GB ish.
@@danielberma yes, a pc can do all the stuff you need under 32 gb of ram, as i said.
No, ms flight sim 2024 has a 32gb ram requirement, as it says on its steam page.
What you need to understand is that just because the usage is above a certain amount, doesnt mean that amount of ram wouldnt be enough. Windows is programmed to use as much ram as possible, if there is extra avaliable. That doesnt mean its gonna make a noticable difference in performance.
Still playing 2.0 as was told can only have one classic follower
You can always install nether follower framework yourself to get more than 1 classic follower.
That is correct unfortunately.
Looks ok but I think the Ro modlist looks a lot more immersive
I am not familiar with RO. Ill check that out!
Good luck Bugthesda for TESVI, you're gonna need it lol.
😂
“Khasheet”
Sheeeeeeeeeet
I installed NVGO for Skyrim SE/AE and it looks also amazing.
The lightning in special makes it soo outstanding.
Anyone with fitted hardware should give it a try with these mod collections.
With wabbajack, playing Skyrim is a absolute another experience.
Thank You for ur showcase also with this Video 😊😊😊
I will give NGVO a go! Wabbajack is an absolute game changer.
Thanks for watching.
I updated to this, decided to do a fresh install, after a completely new install I still don’t have that Nordic looking wait menu what is this? Is it an option?
Not sure. Mine came default with the update from 2.2 to 3.0 🤔
Was waiting for this version but I have to say i hate the water almost looks like the original
He made a patch for that already
Yeah I keep going back and forth on it. Some areas I like the water better than others.
Typically you need warmth to spawn biotic growth in the water.
why do you seem so offended by the water colour? you could've worded this without the snotty insults. relax.
👍‼️
HOLY SCHMIT!! You can run this on SATA????
You know it!! Will be upgrading to an NVME drive soon!
Is it paid for mods?
The mods are free however without Nexus premium it is going to take a very long time to download as you are limited to 3mbps and have to manually click install on every single mod download in wabbajack. If you don't download large mod packs often Id recommend getting Nexus premium for one month an then canceling it.
Yeah I have abnormally high patience and even I ended up buckling for nexus premium. its that or downloading 500gb with a 3mb cap and having to click 4k times.
It's 576 gb 😳
Thats with the download. Still pretty large but its about 300gb after install. Reason being is Wabbajack has to download and extract those mods. Some people delete the download location once complete however I keep mine so that the process is quicker if another modlist uses the same mod it doesnt have to download it again.
@@circuitscore Thank you for the clarification.
Ayooooooooo
new lorerim is highly unoptimized
Where did you see any unoptimize in the video? Give us a timestamp. And dont say its on your pc because we know why that would happen while we re watching a flawless video just here and now.
@@RidoDrago #1 Lorerim glazer

I wouldn't necessary say its highly unoptimized. I am running the game at 4K higher than the recommended resolution.

Ill work on that 😂 thanks for the feedback
