Alot of people complained about how boring these bosses were but they have some real emotion. Everyone really does just judge people based on looks.
i mean rubber band was the only unique design if you look at em, the others are simple objects who had no forms to them

Poppyboi and part of character is design. There’s not as much depth fighting a photo realistic hole puncher as there is fighting a uniquely motivated and designed character. It’s not like the whole puncher has any depth, it’s only personality is liking to dance. Big whoop.

When I first saw the trailer of a faceless toad, I never would have thought a hole puncher would have this much personality and a bopping battle theme.

This game goes to show that while the bosses may not have much in appearance, they can have personality in spades. For me, this game has its highs and its lows. The Legion of Stationary is definitely a high for me.

And the thousand fold arms weren’t used to their full potential in my opinion
I agree with the whole LoS thing they were a real high point, but the 1000-fold arms did get really worn out

I mean, is it just looking at the ceiling when it's dancing? Or is it looking at the ceiling when it's punching holes in the ground?

Ugg, this fight it's annoying as fuck, having to get back your holes everytime and also having the ON button broken the first turns is just nerve wracking to me
I was convinced this might be a cool and challenging boss but then I noticed getting mario parts back fully heals you, which makes the fight’s gimmick much less intimidating.

It's not full hp
Just the amount taken away when you got hole punched
The reason it seemed like it is because mario was at max hp every time he got a piece back
Man, I’m currently fighting this boss, and I HATE it, the boss itself is very interesting, but it’s very annoying

I watched a bunch of these boss fights already and I feel very disappointed in the lack of combat difficulty. What’s the point in having 135 hp if you’re only ever gonna take like 12 hp of damage at a time? Even the hole-punching attack that decreases your max health let’s you easily regain it. I hope there is a difficulty setting or at least something similar to a New Game+
You could easily complete the game without getting any health upgrades. Also, the fact that you can just pay coins to get free 30-50 hp back every turn is broken. I don’t know if it’s a matter of design but who is this difficulty supposed to actually challenge? Children?
This is why I prefer the first three games. They weren't this incredibly broken.
