Building a Touring Tandem On The Cheap(ish). Landescape Tandem

Managed to get hold of a Landescape frameset that I am going to build up for a cycle tour in the summer.
We have done a few tours on tandems before and they great fun. One of the most memorable was cycling back from Spain to the UK. We got the ferry down to Santander and followed the La Velodyssee route up the west coast of France. It was beautiful sunshine for the whole trip and we loved it. We took our daughter and she would ride on the back or she could get to in the trailer to watch stuff on her tablet.
Cycle touring with a young child was made really easy using the tandem. We made sure we stopped at campsites that had swimming pools so the young un was rewarded at the end of each day.
