Welcome to the internet little dude, if you care for it, i got some tips for ya! please take some time to read them, I wish somebody gave me these tips when I was a kid! It's a lot of reading, but if you choose to read it, you will be several steps ahead of most people your age! 0. The single most important rule out of all of these is Critical thinking, and should take place beyond all of these things. a lot of people online are liars, bullies, or really, really bad. Most of them you can just ignore and they'll go away, out of site, out of mind. You don't need to argue with them, and doing so does nothing but make them feel good. Just ignore them, don't respond to them, don't get in arguments in comment sections. If you can stop yourself from responding to a mean or stupid comment and getting into an argument, you won. Likewise, there's going to be some people who try to force their idea of how the world is/works onto you, Take two steps back and ask yourself (and your family if you need to) if it's actually a good thing or not, a simple way to do this is: "Does it hurt other people?" if it does, the answer is "it's bad." I've seen a lot of people go down bad paths because someone fed them bad information at an early age. Just be careful. Now that the dramatic part of this is out of the way, lets go down the fun stuff! 1. don't worry too much about grammar on here if you don't want to, things like capitalizing letters are seldom used, as well as punctuation, although I still recommend using commas (it is the button to the right of your M key) you can speak more casually on here than in other places. 2., information is easy online, if you don't know something, you can look it up! i.e. "potato definition" or any other word followed by definition. Be warned, sometimes it'll come with a graph/biology image. I learned that the hard way. funfact, you can put a word into google followed by "synonym" to get a lot of words that are similar to the one you want! It's an easy way to learn a lot of words really fast! 3. don't worry about making everyone happy or what others think, they either don't care, or it's none of their business. i.e. watching T.V. shows that are "too girly" or "cringe." If it makes you happy, that's what matters. Online, you will find a lot of like minded people who also enjoy what you're watching! which brings me TOOOOOO 4. Fandoms! A fandom is a group of people who share their enjoyment of something, such as spongebob! There's a fandom for just about everything online! Undertale may be one you see all over the place, because it's really big! Here is something VERY IMPORTANT to remember about fandoms. There are two sides to them. One is good, one is bad. All fandoms are like this. Most of the time, the bad people in fandoms are either children, or people who never became adults. So here is some tips on avoiding becoming the bad part of a fandom. 4-A. Do not be mean to people about their favorite character, even if it's a character you don't like. 4-B. Do not be mean to people if they don't like the show/game you like. Likewise, don't insult people if they like a game/show you don't like. 4-C. Ask if someone cares about being spoiled before talking to them about things in the show/game. If the don't care, you can talk to them. IF they're caught up to where you're at, you can talk to them. IF they care, don't spoil. If someone is spoiling something for you and you decide you care about spoilers, leave the conversation until the topic changes. 4-D. There's nothing wrong with loving a show/game with all your heart, but understand that there's a time and a place to share your enjoyment of it. There was once a fandom called Homestuck, it's a 15 year old webcomic, and it's very fun. However, it's fans gave it a bad reputation because they let their love of it consume them. You may find ancient comments (or even new comments) or people t4lk1ng l1k3 th1s, that is an example of a "homestuck fan." Talking like that with other homestuck fans is perfectly fine, but doing it all the time can get annoying. There's nothing wrong with having a username or a profile picture based in a fandom, but aggressively bringing it up everywhere you go and trying to shove it in people's faces is not fun or funny. 5. If you see a website that says "you must be 18+ to enter" DO NOT ENTER IT. and i'm serious about this, doing so will create a life changing habit that will hurt your journey into becoming an adult. I'm not saying "be afraid of it", i'm saying "there will come a time when you're ready." and now is not that time. 6. have a life outside of the internet. What I mean by this, is exercise, eat healthy, and if you can, try to get a high-paying job such as "doctor." (believe me, you'll be a lot happier.) Internet friendships can be real and meaningful, the memories made on here are beautiful and they'll last a life time. But it's important that you maintain your body so that you can enjoy the internet for a very long time. Use your phone to set a timer for yourself, one hour of jsut, running around, exercising, and being off the computer. Please believe me when I say, this will do WONDERS for your in the long run. (oh. and make a habit of brushing your teeth once after every meal. Your future self will thank me.) So yeah! those are my tips for being online, I've been on the internet for 18 years now, and i've had a wonderful time! the overall advice that summarizes all of these, is just relax, don't take everything seriously, focus on being happy, and try not to grow up too fast. Life is a marathon, not a sprint. Learning is a good thing. School is just bad at teaching, that's why it's boring!
I see so many forging videos where halfway through the guy's hand comes into shot with a finger wrapped up from injury. Makes me feel better about all the times i injure myself working. Nice job and a beautiful piece. Forged ? Machined ? Whatever. Result is a work of art .
Visually gorgeous... But the blade made with different parts will make the liquids to go through the joints... It will get oxided and dirty at the blade decorations in no time since you can't clean the joints easily... Anyway, if it's only a model or to hang on a wall, it's completely gorgeous!
Jesus Christ! That's very elegant and beautiful! Outstanding craftsmanship! It looks to me that it's a functional weapon. I wish I could have that magnificent weapon. For me, it would be a personal treasure. It's just a marvelous craftsmanship! Impressive! Very impressive.
I like it like the rest of your weapons, but for the life of me, 20 years in WoW, and have designed a few Warcraft weapons for 3d printing, and I have never seen a polearm like that.
My only issue is with the video title; the rail was not hand-forged into a spear, it was forged into a blank and then cut, ground, and milled into the spear. Other than that, this was a great build and really pretty!
@@VektrumSimulacrum if I offended I’m sorry, I’m just jaded from all the “moar flames/moar sparks = more views”. Seen pros do it so many times and one guys shop nearly went up in smoke cause an ember shot off into a box of stuff under a workbench…
That's how it's done. Any smith will forge out the rough shape and leave the rest to abrasives. The only exception I know are Japanese katana makers because good steel was notoriously rare. They would forge almost to final shape but then use rasps and files for the final shape.
@@bramweinreder2346 I've seen many better smiths make many dozens more sophisticated builds than this. The difference here, as you pointed out, is that is that a master will at least forge the blade to shape before grinding. This guy does not. He forgets a billet, then he cuts the shape into it.

This man never ceases to surprise me with how awesome his weapons are
No no no, not a weapon, it is a piece of art, a picture of it’s maker’s imagination, to show everyone that beauty can be found in anything.

Man, the blacksmithing profession in World of Warcraft has gotten a lot more involved than I remember.
This is great, btw. Fantastic work!
The way you work metal makes it look like wood, crazy.
Even with multiple ppl and 10 and 12lbs hammers it is no easy task to forge steel that thick. Kudos to you. Beautiful work.
A must for any WarCraft fan!
Gorgeous spear. Beautiful work

Great work and perfect skills sir your work is too good.
My only issue is with the video title; the rail was not hand-forged into a spear, it was forged into a blank and then cut, ground, and milled into the spear. Other than that, this was a great build and really pretty!
My only other issue is a 'good' blacksmith doesn't have to coat their anvil with WD40 and create a massive lens flare/fireball for views...
