You have the Kontrol Freeks concept backwards. A longer thumb stick makes you move your thumb MORE NOT LESS. It gives you a larger range of motion so you dont have to be so precise with your thumbs.

As an MLG/umg cod comp player another tip in which alot of pros wont share for accuracy when warming up load a custom games with between 12-16 bots pref on hardened difficulty as it requires more situational accuracy also raise the health to 200% this forces you to hit more bullets as your naturally still going to seek quick kill time this is a time nearly all high quality pros such as scump, apathy etc do this so you can see the results within this tip

That is the pro to have the long KF, at range your accuracy will be good and steady but when in a close encounter it can screw you over. That is why I switched to my CQC (Close Quarter Combat) KF, it gives me the ability to snap on to my enemy that is just fee away from with more ease as opposed to taking a longer time to aim at him with my longer KF.

That's good tips for training.. Never thought about the private match.. I've just started doing competitive GB 2v2 search and destroy and kids on there have incredible aim.. This might help me get on their level.
I know how you feel u got used to max sensitivity. I used to be like you but if you lower your sensitivity one a day until you reach about a 4-8 range you will notice an improvement that is why you don't see pros using max sensitivity.
I have great accuracy with 13 sensitivity. It's not just about it being high. You have to be able to control it. A lot of people trying to impress others with higher sensitivities can't control it.

These tips will definitely help your accuracy but he forgot to mention to put the stick layout to "Stick & Move." This layout will change the jump button from "A" to "R3" or "Right Stick" which will allow you to aim while strafing enemies with your exo-skeleteon. Its really helpful, try it out!

Ive used 12 sensitivity since the game came out, and i win majority of gunfights, it is all about what you are used too.
Yeah. I always use sensitivity 2. Don't care about turning on people. Hardly have people sneaking up behind me.
I don't use as high sensitivity as I used to, but just because YOU can't aim on high sensitivity doesn't mean EVERYONE can't.
You can use trigger stops for L2 & R2 if you don't want to switch to L1 & R1 for your controller.
